The parchment suddenly appeared before them. Indeed, this parchment resembled a cursed Agreement. Freyr looked at Xiong Tai's face, and his expression darkened. He hurriedly touched his chest, clearly intending to retrieve something. However, what he pulled out was a dagger, and he used the tip to pierce the pad of his finger. 0

His muscles were robust. Yet Meng Luo across from him also opened his fingertip in the same manner, pressing the bloodied tip firmly onto the parchment. With that, the Agreement was naturally established. Both of them glanced at the annotations on the parchment and took a deep breath; it contained a terrifying curse formed by very ancient incantations. The consequence for failing to meet the objective was the pain of being Pierced by Ten Thousand Arrows. 0

However, it seemed that there was only one person who would not meet the objective, and that person stood right across from them—Commander Freyr of the Four Hunter Team. Yet, for the sake of his companions, he had no choice but to sign this Agreement. He pressed his bloodied fingertip firmly at the bottom of the parchment, thus sealing the Agreement. 0

At this point, everything seemed to come to an end. The parchment suddenly ignited into Scorching flames, curling up as it burned away without any acrid smoke; only a beam of light shone down, reaching Freyr's chest. After a moment of perception, he was astonished to see his face change dramatically—his Heart Target felt as if it were pressed against a sharp dagger, seemingly just a few centimeters away from piercing him. 0

So that was it; this was to prevent him from denying it later. It was indeed a clever idea; with both teams cooperating like this, they had effectively sealed their fates together. 0

"Squad Leader, you can't sign! There's nothing to negotiate with them; I'm not afraid of their abuse!" Xiong Tai rushed over, shouting. 0

However, it was already too late; the Agreement had been signed. If Freyr were to breach it, he would first have to endure the Torture of Pierced by Ten Thousand Arrows—a pain akin to torture—and suffer through that while simultaneously completing his mission. It was something an ordinary person could hardly bear. 0

Moreover, enduring such pain while also pushing his abilities to their limits would place an immense burden on his body. His strength during the mission would undoubtedly be severely compromised. 0

"I'm fine; we can talk about it later," Freyr replied coldly. 0

At that moment, Xiong Tai felt an icy chill—a coldness he had never experienced before. They had been good brothers in the past, but he never expected their relationship could become so strained. 0

Clearly, this mistake was unforgivable; it equated to risking the lives of the entire team by making an agreement with others. Among them was Freyr, a key member whose life held significant value. The President of the association treated him as if he were destined for greatness; compared to others, there were certainly thoughts of him being viewed as a future heir. 0

This was undoubtedly an honor for ordinary people, yet within Xiong Tai's heart grew a strong sense of guilt. He realized he had acted recklessly and even considered resigning from his position as Vice Captain because he had completely disregarded the team's honor. The Commander’s restraint in not exploding with anger on-site was likely due to maintaining appearances in front of everyone present. 0

If there was no better explanation, he would definitely face disciplinary action within the team. However, even if Freyr could overlook this mistake, would he do the same for others when they made errors? This would surely create a negative impact; the team members would likely feel even more demoralized this time. 0

"I hope you can hold your teammates to a higher standard, okay? By the way, that big bear of yours didn’t peek at me while I was bathing; he just wanted to come over and talk about something. But since he acted a bit too flattering, I wasn’t comfortable bringing him along. Since we’re in a cooperative relationship, I can’t keep this from you. I’ll come back to discuss the mission later," Meng Luo smiled. 0

"Well, I believe my teammates would never sneak a peek at a girl bathing. If it were true, it would be considered voyeurism, and I would send him to the police station to face the legal process and think about where he went wrong. Clearly, if you hadn’t told me, I would have let him off the hook. So thank you for that; however, I won’t forget the promise I made to you," Freyr replied. 0

"Alright then, straightforward and direct—I like your personality. Well then, Freyr Commander, see you next time when you have the chance. I'm off now," Meng Luo said as she turned and disappeared into a group of burly men who escorted her away with an air of protectiveness. 0

Watching her retreating figure, Xiong Tai turned his head slightly and instinctively responded, "Commander, I know I was wrong; I won’t make that mistake again." It seemed true; when no one else had any thoughts about him, admitting his mistake right away gave him at least a fifty-fifty chance of being forgiven. 0

If he continued to keep his head down and avoid conversation, he certainly wouldn’t earn any forgiveness. 0

Seeing Xiong Tai realize his mistake immediately made the others smile helplessly as they waited to see what punishment he would receive. 0

Freyr glanced at Xiong Tai and coldly replied, "According to team regulations, if you violate the rules, you must accept punishment. Are you ready for it?" 0

"I’m ready," Xiong Tai nodded in agreement. 0

"Do push-ups until all the pages in this notebook are soaked." They all had astonishing strength and powerful muscles, so ordinary exercises wouldn’t suffice. Making one page wet wouldn’t be too difficult, but soaking every page in an entire notebook would be quite challenging. 0

"Are we really doing this?" Ross asked. 0

"Of course we are! Since you brought it up, keep an eye on him until he soaks that notebook before telling me," Freyr commanded. 0

Freyr had already made up his mind and immediately dismissed Ross's thoughts. 0

"Well, fine then," Ross said, still pondering something, but he quickly decided against it and closed his mouth. 0

"Let's start our meeting now. Once he's done, we can let him in," Freyr instructed as he entered the tent. The others glanced at each other before following him inside. 0

Outside the tent, only two people remained. Ross gave an awkward smile to Xiong Tai, who shrugged and muttered that he would just come in. Ross tore off a piece of paper that was not very absorbent and placed it on the ground for Xiong Tai to use while doing push-ups. 0

Of course, this paper needed to be soaked one sheet at a time, depending entirely on how much he sweated. Even if he sweated a lot, it didn't necessarily mean that this type of paper would become damp easily. 0

This would require some effort from Xiong Tai, and this was just one sheet. A notebook contained at least thirty similar sheets, making it quite a task; it seemed like a lesson was intended for him. 0
