Li Ming climbed up several large pillars outside the Council Hall, using them as natural vantage points to survey the ruins below. He moved carefully, trying to keep his actions light and silent to avoid attracting the attention of the demon race. When he finally reached the top of a pillar, he peered through the smoke, beginning to observe his surroundings closely.
He closed his eyes and focused, clearly sensing that a dangerous power seemed to be lurking here. A strong malevolence resided deep within the Council Hall, like a hidden beast ready to pounce on its prey at any moment. Alarm bells rang in his mind; he knew there must be formidable enemies nearby.
He quietly moved forward, keeping his body concealed and making every effort not to make a sound. As he drew closer, the Chaos Pearl in his hand began to vibrate incessantly, seemingly excited and eager for the impending battle. Li Ming could feel the power within the Chaos Pearl churning, filled with a desire for combat yet tinged with an unsettling aura.
"Calm down," Li Ming told himself internally. "Now is not the time for impulsiveness. I need to figure out the source of this malevolence before I can plan my next move."
He continued forward, his gaze sharpening as he observed every detail. The scene inside the Council Hall shocked him; it had once been the highest center of power in the Hidden Realm, but now it lay in ruins. Everywhere he looked were broken walls and shattered statues scattered across the ground, remnants of what once was.
Suddenly, his attention was drawn to a shadow in the center of the Council Hall. There stood a tall figure radiating intense malevolence. Li Ming's heart raced as he realized he was facing an extremely dangerous enemy.
Hiding atop the pillar, Li Ming fixed his gaze on the tall figure below. The man appeared handsome and carefree, with black hair cascading casually over his shoulders and a smirk playing on his lips. However, the malevolence emanating from him was impossible to ignore; every movement exuded immense confidence, as if he had already taken control of everything within these ruins. Li Ming's heartbeat quickened as he recognized how perilous this man truly was.
The man's demeanor was remarkably composed; he walked lightly, each step radiating elegance and strength. His eyes were cold and sharp, seeming to pierce through everything around him. Occasionally, he would scan his surroundings with a hint of disdain in his gaze, as if looking down upon a swarm of inept ants. Li Ming noticed him playing with a black dagger in his hand, which glimmered ominously, sending chills down his spine.
Holding his breath, Li Ming felt the Spiritual Energy within him surging continuously. He suppressed his inner fear and tension, striving to remain calm.
At that moment, he heard a woman's voice—weak and filled with pain and despair—pleading, "Please... spare them..."
The handsome man burst into laughter, cruelty lacing his tone. "Su Xue... no wonder you're the head of the the Su Family; impressive indeed... managing to hold out for five days! Truly remarkable!"
Li Ming's gaze shifted toward the source of the voice and saw a woman chained and lying on the ground, her face pale and covered in wounds. Her eyes revealed a mix of resilience and despair, clearly having endured countless torments. This woman was undoubtedly Su Xue, head of the the Su Family.
"Is this how demons operate?" Li Ming felt anger boiling within him as the Chaos Pearl in his hand vibrated even more violently, seemingly responding to his emotions. He knew he couldn't act recklessly but also understood that he had to rescue Su Xue as soon as possible.
The handsome man approached Su Xue, gracefully crouching down to gently lift her chin with his fingertips. A glimmer of mockery flashed in his eyes as he said, "Do you think holding out a little longer will save your people? This is my territory, and you are destined to fail."
Su Xue struggled to lift her head, her gaze resolute. "You underestimate our determination. Even if there is only a glimmer of hope, we will never give up."
The man scoffed, standing up and casually waving his hand. Several Demon Soldiers immediately stepped forward to forcibly restrain Su Xue. He turned his back to her, hands clasped behind him, strolling leisurely as if everything was under his control.
"Su Xue, you should consider yourself fortunate that I'm in a good mood today," the man said coldly. "But your fate is still in my hands."
Li Ming felt anger burning within him, but he knew this was not the time for impulsiveness. He had to wait for the right moment to strike. Taking a deep breath, he clenched the Chaos Pearl, allowing Spiritual Energy to flow through him, ready to act at any moment.
The man halted and turned back to glare at Su Xue. "Tell me, who else from the the Su Family will come to rescue you? Let me see how much confidence you have left."
Su Xue gritted her teeth and remained silent, a flicker of determination and resolve in her eyes.
Li Ming's heart sank; he knew he could not wait any longer. He had to act quickly to rescue Su Xue and disrupt the demon clan's plans. No matter how dangerous it was ahead, he was prepared to fight for the future of the Hidden Realm and the human world.
He took a deep breath, locking his gaze on the man as his Spiritual Energy surged within him. In that moment, Li Ming had only one thought—rescue Su Xue, repel the demons, and protect the Hidden Realm.
"Then let's do this," Li Ming whispered, his eyes shining with unwavering resolve. He tightened his grip on the Chaos Pearl, feeling the power within him boiling over, ready for the fierce battle that lay ahead.

The man laughed heartily, his voice filled with mockery and disdain. "I can smell the scent of the Chaos Pearl from miles away; I wonder where your confidence comes from thinking you can escape my notice."
Li Ming felt a chill in his heart, realizing that he had been exposed. The man raised his hand, and a dark energy ball quickly formed in his palm before being launched with great force. The energy ball struck the pillar where Li Ming was hiding, shattering it instantly.
As the pillar broke apart, the tremendous force forced Li Ming to tumble down from his high perch. He swiftly adjusted his body mid-air and landed steadily on the ground. However, at that moment, a group of Demon Soldiers had already surrounded him, weapons drawn and ready.
Li Ming gripped the Chaos Pearl tightly, filled with vigilance and determination. He knew he could no longer hide; he had to face this battle head-on. The eyes of the Demon Soldiers glinted with ferocity, their weapons gleaming menacingly as they eyed him hungrily.
The handsome man approached slowly, a hint of amusement in his gaze. "So you are Li Ming? The one who can bond with the Chaos Pearl is indeed remarkable. But do you really think you can stand against me with such abilities?"
Taking a deep breath, Li Ming felt the Spiritual Energy surge through his veins. He silently told himself, "I cannot back down; I must be strong. This is my only choice."
He tightened his grip on the Chaos Pearl, his gaze sharpening like a blade as he coldly replied to the man, "I won't let you destroy the Hidden Realm at will. This is our home."
The man scoffed, crossing his arms as if dismissing Li Ming's words. "Then let me see what you can do."
Li Ming understood that this battle would be exceptionally difficult, but he would not give up easily. He inhaled deeply, channeling all his Spiritual Energy into his palms, preparing for this life-and-death struggle. No matter the outcome, he would fight with all his might to protect the Hidden Realm and the human world.
The Demon Soldiers charged at him fiercely, but Li Ming skillfully dodged each attack while countering with powerful waves of Spiritual Energy. His movements were swift and agile; with each strike, his Spiritual Energy grew stronger, delivering undeniable force.
The man stood aside, observing coldly as a glint of chilling light flickered in his eyes. He gathered another dark energy ball in his hand, ready to deliver a fatal blow to Li Ming.
Li Ming knew that the real challenge was just beginning. He had to focus all his attention if he wanted to survive this battle and find an opportunity to defeat this formidable enemy.
