Master Han and Li Ming began their rigorous training. Li Ming knew that he had to regain his strength in the shortest time possible and learn how to control and use the power of the Chaos Pearl. He realized that during his last interaction with Mo Shiu in the alternate dimension, he needed to maintain a strong presence, as Mo Shiu did not favor interactions with the weak.
Every morning, when the first rays of sunlight illuminated the peaks of the Hidden Realm, Li Ming was already standing in the training ground, starting his day of cultivation. Dressed in lightweight training attire, he synchronized his breathing with the flow of Spiritual Energy within him. He understood that while he might not appear strong externally, he had to maintain inner strength to truly harness the power of the Chaos Pearl.
Master Han supervised Li Ming's training from the side, his gaze stern yet concerned. "Li Ming, focus your mind and channel your Spiritual Energy into your dantian. Stabilize yourself. Do not let any distractions interfere with your concentration."
Li Ming took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and felt the flow of Spiritual Energy within him. His mind gradually calmed as he concentrated on each breath, allowing the Spiritual Energy to circulate smoothly through his meridians. With every breath, he felt power accumulating within him, as if it could burst forth at any moment.
Master Han guided Li Ming through various exercises, including controlling Spiritual Energy, utilizing strength, and training his mind. He knew that only by enhancing Li Ming in all aspects could they gain an advantage in confronting Mo Shiu.
"Li Ming, remember that strength is not just about external power; inner resolve and strength are equally important. Only with a strong heart can you truly master the power of the Chaos Pearl," Master Han's voice resonated in Li Ming's ears, reinforcing his determination.
Li Ming gritted his teeth and continuously pushed his limits. He sweated profusely on the training ground, enduring physical exhaustion and pain while an indomitable spirit burned within him. He knew he had to become stronger to protect the Hidden Realm and the human world and to no longer feel powerless when facing Mo Shiu.
One evening, after training concluded, Li Ming sat on the grass, panting heavily as sweat soaked through his training clothes. He closed his eyes and recalled every conversation and interaction with Mo Shiu, filled with vigilance and resolve.
"Mo Shiu..." Li Ming murmured to himself, "I will not let you underestimate me again. I will grow stronger until you have no choice but to acknowledge me."
Master Han approached and patted Li Ming's shoulder with an encouraging tone. "Li Ming, you are doing well. Keep up this level of training, and soon you will be able to control the power of the Chaos Pearl and reach the pinnacle of Golden Core Stage."
Li Ming nodded, determination shining in his eyes. "Thank you, Master Han. I will give my all and live up to your expectations."
In the days that followed, Li Ming continually broke through his limits. His strength gradually increased; he became more adept at using Spiritual Energy, and his inner resolve grew stronger. He understood that only through relentless effort and practice could he maintain a strong presence when facing Mo Shiu and truly take control of his destiny.
About three days later, Li Ming and Chen Yao had mostly recovered from their injuries. The sunlight filtered through the thin mist, bringing a touch of warmth to the morning in the Hidden Realm. Today, they were preparing to head to Holy Sage Peak to assess the current state of the Hidden Realm. However, Li Ming knew that before they could set off, he had one final challenge to face—the Chaos Pearl.
Master Han stood before Li Ming and Chen Yao, once again producing the Chaos Pearl from his wide sleeves. The string of beads trembled slightly in his hand, as if sensing Li Ming's presence and eager to return to him. The pearl emitted a faint glow, seemingly calling out to Li Ming with an invisible force.
“Li Ming, this is your final test,” Master Han said slowly, his tone carrying a hint of seriousness. “The Chaos Pearl possesses immense power but is also extremely dangerous. You must learn to fully control it in order to truly harness its potential.”
Li Ming took a deep breath and nodded, his gaze steady as he looked at Master Han. “I understand, Master Han. I will do my best to master the Chaos Pearl.”
Master Han nodded and handed the Chaos Pearl to Li Ming. As soon as the pearl touched Li Ming's palm, it emitted a soft glow and ceased its trembling, as if it had found its rightful place. Li Ming could feel the power within the pearl surging; it was both formidable and mysterious, instilling in him a sense of awe.
However, as he began to concentrate on trying to control the Chaos Pearl, a voice suddenly echoed in his mind—Mo Shiu's voice, low and eerie: “Do you think you can control the Chaos Pearl? You are merely a mortal; how could you possibly wield such power?”
Li Ming felt an overwhelming pressure as Mo Shiu's voice reverberated in his mind. The Chaos Pearl in his hand began to shake violently, as if resisting his control. Gritting his teeth, Li Ming tried to focus and suppress this force, but the interference in his mind only grew stronger.
“You cannot control this power; it will only consume you,” Mo Shiu's voice dripped with mockery and disdain. “Give up; accept your fate.”
Li Ming closed his eyes and struggled to calm his mind. He knew that only through inner strength could he suppress the power of the Chaos Pearl. Taking a deep breath, he pushed aside all distractions and focused on the strength within himself.
“I will not give up,” Li Ming silently told himself. “No matter how difficult it is, I will master this power.”
Spiritual Energy began to flow within him, gradually merging with the power of the Chaos Pearl. Li Ming sensed that the energy inside the pearl was becoming more docile, as if accepting his control. Yet Mo Shiu's voice did not fade; instead, it grew more urgent: “You are walking down a path to your own destruction!”
Li Ming felt a sharp pain radiating from his palm as if the Chaos Pearl were about to explode. He clenched his teeth and forced Spiritual Energy into the pearl, striving to subdue its raging power. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead, but his gaze remained resolute.
"This is my power, and I won't let anyone take it away from me!" Li Ming shouted, pouring all his Spiritual Energy into the Chaos Pearl, forcefully suppressing its vibrations.
After a moment, the Chaos Pearl finally settled down, emitting a soft glow. Li Ming opened his eyes, feeling that the power within him was stronger and more stable than ever before. He clenched the Chaos Pearl tightly, filled with confidence. "Thank you for your help. I will make good use of this power to protect the Hidden Realm and the human world."
Master Han smiled slightly and patted Li Ming on the shoulder. "Very well, Li Ming. You have already crossed the most difficult hurdle. Now, we will head to Holy Sage Peak to assess the situation in the Hidden Realm and prepare for the challenges ahead."
Li Ming nodded, tucking the Chaos Pearl into his embrace as he turned to walk alongside Master Han and Chen Yao toward Holy Sage Peak. The highest peak of the Hidden Realm loomed majestically and mysteriously under the sunlight. Despite having endured the ravages of war, it still exuded a solemn aura.
As they made their way, they passed numerous ruined buildings and charred ground; traces of battle were everywhere. Li Ming silently vowed that no matter how difficult the road ahead might be, he would use his strength to protect this land and safeguard these innocent lives.
When they reached the base of Holy Sage Peak, Li Ming glanced back at Master Han and Chen Yao, determination shining in his eyes. "We will succeed. No matter what challenges we face, we will not back down."
Master Han and Chen Yao returned his gaze with unwavering resolve. They understood that this battle was not just about the fate of the Hidden Realm and the human world; it was also a test of their beliefs and courage.
Taking a deep breath, Li Ming led his companions step by step toward the summit of Holy Sage Peak. Their hearts were filled with determination and bravery, ready to face every challenge that lay ahead. No matter what difficulties they encountered, they would fight side by side to protect the world they cherished.
