In the Leiyin Temple within Dunhuang Crescent Spring, the monks sat in meditation, chanting scriptures, and practicing their daily routines of study, Zen, and martial arts. 0

Beside the Moon Well, the lush oasis was filled with rice and vegetables. The land had been transformed by the elders of Leiyin Temple using a spirit-gathering formation to make it suitable for growing various crops. Some simple medicinal herbs could also be cultivated here. The spring planting and autumn harvest were carried out by several New Disciples as part of their foundational training. 0

A young monk lifted his head from the fields, preparing to wash his face at the Moon Well, when he suddenly felt a chill sweep over him. Immediately after, large flakes of snow began to fall. 0

The young monk exclaimed, “How can it be snowing in the Dunhuang Desert…” 0

Before he could finish his sentence, he collapsed to the ground, his head rolling away as a sharp blade pierced through him. The blade returned to the hand of a Yin Soldier. Soon after, swarms of Yin Soldiers surged forth. 0

The remaining monks dropped their hoes and ran towards the temple. Arrows flew through the air, and all these monks were pinned to the ground. 0

The snow fell in the desert, accompanied by intermittent screams that plunged everyone inside the temple into panic. Soon, the bell of Leiyin Temple rang out, summoning all monks to gather. 0

Sky Master and Master Hai Deng looked around from atop the Buddhist Sect’s main hall. Thousands of Yin Soldiers were attacking, creating a scene reminiscent of a war between two nations. 0

Haikong sighed and said, “I thought that with five Mahayana Realm experts stationed at Leiyin Temple, our Buddhist Sect could withstand the chaos of this world. But it seems that human plans are no match for fate.” 0

Haideng replied, “These Yin Soldiers appear to have been summoned by someone named Song Qianqiu. I just don’t understand why they would come to destroy our Buddhist Sect.” 0

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! 0

Suddenly, a dense sound of arrows filled the air around Leiyin Temple as tens of thousands of arrows came rushing from all directions, slicing through the air toward the temple. 0

Haideng held a perpetual lamp and threw it into the sky while chanting incantations. The light from the lamp immediately enveloped all directions as countless Sutras floated out to shield against the rain of arrows. 0

The monks inside were terrified, feeling as if Yin Qi was surging like a tide, suffocating them. 0

Some monks who had not yet reached Leiyin Temple were killed at the entrance, blood flowing freely on the ground. 0

The gates of Leiyin Temple collapsed as the Demon King arrived with his Yin Soldiers, exuding an aura of unparalleled malevolence. Chains hung from his neck, and he wielded a blood-red Great Halberd. 0

"You must be the Underworld Demon King spoken of in legends," Haikong intoned, reciting a Buddhist chant before asking solemnly. 0

"Indeed," the Demon King replied. 0

Haideng inquired, "The Yin-Yang Realms have always maintained a non-aggression pact. With the vastness of the Underworld, why would the Demon King leave that realm to stir trouble in the Yang Realm?" 0

The Demon King answered, "Naturally, I have come to collect your bald heads. The Buddhist Sect's cultivation methods have always targeted my Underworld. Moreover, the Ancient Buddha made a grand vow: as long as hell remains unemptied, I shall not leave it. It's nothing short of a joke. Now that only one Buddhist Sect remains in the Yang Realm, I am eager to see how many Yin Soldiers you can withstand!" 0

With a command from the Demon King, all the Yin Soldiers surged into the temple. Walls crumbled and the temple was devastated as monks armed with staffs fought against the Yin Soldiers. The battle quickly devolved into chaos, but what was horrifying was that these Yin Soldiers were impervious to blades and spears, rendering the lower-ranked disciples utterly powerless. 0

The Demon King struck down with a fist, twisting the body of a monk who lay crumpled in a corner, gazing up at Haikong and Haideng standing atop the main hall. He swung his Great Halberd down with ferocity. 0

With a thunderous crash, Leiyin Temple split in two; the main hall was engulfed in flames as Haikong and Haideng were thrown aside, surrounded by a halo of Buddhist light while chanting ancient scriptures. From their bodies emanated a Dao Jing text that swept through the air, causing sounds to erupt from the Yin Soldiers. Black smoke billowed forth and quickly turned to ash. 0

"Seeking death!" roared the Demon King as he swung his Great Halberd toward Haikong. 0

A dull thud echoed as if striking solid wood; the Great Halberd froze mid-air. 0

Master Drywood floated in the air, his robe billowing as he stood with a serious expression, grasping the Great Halberd with a gnarled hand. 0

The Demon King gasped in surprise and abruptly withdrew his halberd, retreating as snowflakes fell around him. He noticed several objects resembling Withered Leaves caught in the swirling snow, followed by countless Withered Leaves converging like blades. 0

Furious, the Demon King summoned Ghostly Energy for defense; however, it was quickly devoured by the sharp Withered Leaves. Alarmed, he shouted into the void, "Why aren't you coming to help!" 0

Suddenly, space tore open as the White-Robed Old Scholar appeared above Leiyin Temple. A Transcendent Hand descended from him, crashing down toward the Withered Leaves. 0

Boom! 0

The waters of the Moon Well surged, dust and smoke swirling, yellow sand scattering in all directions. Some nearby monks and Yin Soldiers were instantly killed by the shockwave, while Dead Tree stood in front of Withered Leaf, enduring the might of the Transcendent Hand, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. 0

"Amitabha, you must be the White-Robed Old Scholar that Yang Hao mentioned," Withered Leaf said. 0

The White-Robed Old Scholar did not respond, his pupils pitch black with no whites visible. Withered Leaf pressed his palms together, a powerful Buddhist light radiating from him, shaking the entire Leiyin Temple. Countless Sutras burst forth from the ground, wrapping around the Ghost King, who let out a wretched scream. At that moment, Withered Heart appeared behind them, emanating a red glow as if he had been preparing for this moment for a long time. 0

Withered Heart flicked his hand towards the Ghost King. The Ghost King suddenly yanked the airborne White-Robed Old Scholar downwards to block this attack. The expression on White-Robed Old Scholar's face changed dramatically as his Heart position exploded; it was withered and shattered by Withered Heart's grasp. 0

Furrowing his brow, White-Robed Old Scholar's eyes regained a hint of clarity. Influenced by the Buddhist Sect's Cultivation Method, he looked at the monks of the Buddhist Sect and asked, "Leiyin Temple? How did I end up here?" 0

The Ghost King's palm was covered in Demonic Patterns, like black snakes slithering into White-Robed Old Scholar's Heart position. The pain transformed into darkness once more as he exuded an overwhelming Ghostly Energy, far more sinister than before. He suddenly raised both palms and unleashed the Ghost Gate Secret Technique, summoning countless ghosts and tentacles from underground to slaughter the monks. 0

Haideng opened his eyes, releasing the brilliance of the Eternal Lamp to incinerate the Ghostly Energy, enveloping the monks within its protective glow. 0

Withered Leaf, Dead Tree, and Withered Heart joined forces to send White-Robed Old Scholar flying. After crashing to the ground, he immediately floated back up like an immortal. 0

"The Old Scholar has already turned into a Corpse Demon; ordinary attacks will hardly kill him," Withered Leaf remarked. 0

"Die!" The Ghost King shouted angrily as the Great Halberd came crashing down again. 0

The Three Divine Monks raised their hands to meet it, blocking the onslaught of the Great Halberd with astonishing battle energy. 0

Withered Leaf Master twirled a Golden Leaf in his hand and quietly tossed it into the void. The void split open as the Golden Leaf vanished inside. A sense of foreboding arose in the Ghost King's heart; he felt a rush of wind near his ear and quickly dodged. The Golden Leaf grazed his neck, nearly severing it. 0

Blood gushed forth as Ghostly Energy dissipated; the Ghost King was horrified. 0

The Golden Leaf is a treasure refined by the Withered Leaf Master, following it for over seventy years. It is about to join the ranks of Dao Tools. Since the Buddhist Sect has always refrained from killing, the Golden Leaf has not been used for many years. Now, having reappeared in the world, it nearly struck down the Demon King. 0

After narrowly avoiding an attack, the Demon King withdrew his Demon King Power, and the Dead Tree charged forward. Surrounded by Buddhist Chant, he struck out in all directions, delivering a powerful punch toward the Demon King. 0

The Demon King’s massive fist came crashing down, instantly sending the Dead Tree into the ground. He suddenly erupted from underground, sand swirling around him. A golden shadow pierced through the Demon King's chest, causing a horrific scream as he staggered back. The Withered Heart then descended, slamming a palm down toward the Demon King's Heart. 0

A wave-like void defense appeared in front of the Demon King. He immediately slapped the ground and fled into the distance. If it weren't for the timely intervention of the White-Robed Old Scholar, he might not have escaped this calamity. 0

The Demon King was no match for the Three Divine Monks. Firstly, the Buddhist Sect's Cultivation Method was too effective against Underworld Ghostly Energy. Secondly, she had no way to contend with three masters at the Mahayana Realm's perfection. Moreover, due to the White-Robed Old Scholar's diminished power, he could not exert his Supreme level of strength, leaving him struggling alone. 0

Retreating, the Demon King’s eyes glinted with a strange light as she roared, "Charge at these bald donkeys without hesitation; leave none alive!" 0

The Yin Soldiers howled in anger. Upon hearing their leader's command, they rushed forward recklessly without any defense. 0

The Demon King looked at the Three Divine Monks and declared, "If one hundred thousand Yin Soldiers are not enough, then we’ll send two hundred thousand. The Yin Soldiers are endless; let’s see how formidable your Buddhist Sect can be! This space has already been sealed off; no one can escape!" 0

The Three Divine Monks were helpless and soon became engulfed by the Yin Soldier Army. 0

In the midst of battle, Haikong recited scriptures while slaughtering Yin Soldiers. The Three Great Monks could eliminate Yin Soldiers with a mere gesture, while Haideng’s everlasting lamp protected everyone. Countless Yin Soldiers charged forward fearlessly; even those from the Mahayana Realm possessed forbidden techniques. No matter how strong their defenses were, there would eventually come a time when their Buddhist power would be exhausted, revealing signs of defeat. The Yin Soldiers were different; if they let their guard down even slightly, they would be harmed. 0

Killing ordinary people might require little effort—sword energy could easily slay hundreds—but Yin Soldiers were different; each one killed required immense effort. 0

Haikong opened his eyes and stood up from the ground with a sigh. "Everyone enter the Ten Thousand Buddha Grotto." 0

Haideng replied, "Junior Brother, entering the Ten Thousand Buddha Grotto at this moment is also death." 0

Haikong insisted, "Only past masters know the secrets of the Ten Thousand Buddha Grotto; we must take all disciples inside." 0

"Haideng said, 'Everyone follow me!' 0

The monks followed Haideng, cutting a path as they rushed into the Ten Thousand Buddha Grotto. The Three Divine Monks and the Sky Master provided cover, and once everyone had entered the grotto, Haikong pulled out a ruler from behind him, gripping it tightly in his hand. He placed the ruler against his forehead and lightly drew a line, blood flowing out and quickly spreading across his face to form runes. 0

The Ten Thousand Buddha Grotto trembled as Haideng burst out from within. He exclaimed, 'The Buddha Cave is moving; it seems to be shifting. We must hurry inside; I will provide you with Guardian!' 0

Haikong replied, 'Senior Brother, let’s go with the three Shifu Uncles. Activating the Ten Thousand Buddha Grotto requires sacrificing my life. From now on, Leiyin Temple will depend on you. Douding is the only hope for our Buddhist Sect.' 0

The Ten Thousand Buddha Grotto shook violently and rose from the ground, soaring out of the mud. 0

When Leiyin Temple was first established, it took a hundred years to secretly construct this super altar that utilized the power of faith to transport its users. In times of great peril, it could send all disciples away, but as a price, the one who activated the altar had to sacrifice their life. This secret was known only to generations of hosts. 0

Haikong watched as his disciples fell one by one into a sea of corpses, countless Yin Soldiers surrounding them. If he did not sacrifice himself soon, everyone would perish here. 0

'You think escaping is that easy!' roared the Ghost King, wielding a Great Halberd that grew enormous in size as it slashed toward the airborne Ten Thousand Buddha Grotto. 0

'Stop it!' The Three Divine Monks struck together to intercept the Ghost King's attack." 0
