Under the desolate mountains three hundred miles east of Mount Tai, Song Qianqiu stood at the entrance of the valley, holding a folding fan. 0

A Yin Soldier approached him in the darkness, kneeling before him. Song Qianqiu smiled slightly and said, "Well done. You have accomplished a great deed, and I shall return your freedom." 0

He waved his fan, and Ghostly Energy swirled around. The Yin Soldier's previously muddled gaze became clear, and his thoughts sharpened. Looking at his current form, he felt an overwhelming sorrow. 0

Song Qianqiu remarked, "You have been dead for over three hundred years. Even if you return home, there will be no descendants to recognize you. Why add to your grief?" 0

The Yin Soldier struggled internally upon hearing Song Qianqiu's words, then turned decisively to leave. 0

Song Qianqiu snorted, "Unappreciative." 0

With a flick of his fan, Dao Fire ignited, engulfing the Yin Soldier in flames. Song Qianqiu swung the Yin Soldier towards the barrier at the mouth of the valley; the barrier resisted, sending sparks flying. 0

Soon after, Meng Xuanjian emerged from within the valley, eyeing Song Qianqiu warily. "Who are you?" he asked. 0

"I am Song Qianqiu," replied Song Qianqiu. "You must be Meng Xuanjian, the Grand Elder of the Serpent Cult." 0

"Indeed," Meng Xuanjian said. "It's impressive that someone so young knows the name of Old Man. How did you find this place?" 0

"News of the Supreme's fall is well known," Song Qianqiu explained. "My subordinates traced it here. That pile of charred remains at your feet is one of my men." 0

Meng Xuanjian looked down at the still-smoking corpse and said, "You are quite ruthless." 0

"You flatter me," Song Qianqiu replied. "I have heard that the Serpent Cult possesses two Sacred Artifacts: one is a Shuttle that allows for effortless travel across vast distances; the other is the Sun Refining Cauldron, rumored to have the power to annihilate worlds. For many years, as long as the Supreme was alive, it was not passed down to the next generation. Since Nangong does not have it, it must be in Nangong Yun's possession." 0

Meng Xuanjian burst into laughter upon hearing Song Qianqiu's words. "What? Do you intend to steal the Sun Refining Cauldron?" 0

Song Qianqiu chuckled lightly. "I merely wish to borrow it for a look and see if it truly possesses such miraculous qualities as rumored." 0

Meng Xuanjian replied, "A nameless person dares to be so brazen before Old Man? I had no intention of killing you since you knew my name, but now it seems you are too unaware of your own insignificance. Remember this in your next life: always hold reverence for the powerful Daoist Sect!" 0

With that, Meng Xuanjian flicked his fingertip, unleashing a stream of mysterious energy. As Song Qianqiu opened his folding fan to disperse it, black light emanated from his eyes. Suddenly, a Great Halberd descended towards Meng Xuanjian with deadly intent. 0

Meng Xuanjian was taken aback and stumbled backward. The Great Halberd pierced through the Mountain Guardian Barrier, causing the Mountain Valley within a hundred feet to collapse. Meng Xuanjian was thrown back by the Ghostly Energy, crashing into the mountainside, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. 0

"What did you just say?" Song Qianqiu asked. 0

"Who are you? There's no need to hide!" Meng Xuanjian shouted. 0

A massive figure emerged from the night, illuminated by the bright moon, as it supported Song Qianqiu on its shoulder. 0

"Who are you?" Meng Xuanjian was clearly startled by the towering presence before him. 0

The Ghost King did not answer. He extended his right hand, and the Great Halberd flew back into his grasp. With immense force, he struck down, cleaving the entire mountain in two. Meng Xuanjian let out a roar as his body soared into the air, his Daoist Robe fluttering wildly. He formed seals with both hands, gathering a surge of mysterious energy and launching it at the Ghost King. 0

The Ghost King did not evade; a layer of Ghostly Energy surrounded him like a protective wind. However, the wind could not stop Meng Xuanjian's Daoist Arts. The Ghost King was immediately pierced through the chest, and at that moment, a blow from the Great Halberd struck Meng Xuanjian, slamming him to the ground and shattering his meridians. 0

"Meng Elder!" Nangong Lin rushed over to support Meng Xuanjian. 0

"Young Master, hurry and take the Sun Refining Cauldron and leave here. I will hold them off for a moment!" Meng Xuanjian knew he was no match for them and wanted to buy time for Nangong Lin. 0

Nangong Lin looked at Song Qianqiu and said, "Song Qianqiu, I have no enmity with you. Why do you seek trouble with us?" 0

Song Qianqiu replied, "Now that we’ve come this far, what good are these words? Emei has not provoked you, yet your father Nangong led people to wipe us out. Wudang has not offended Sword Pavilion either but was annihilated by Dongfang Jiu. Yaochi also did not provoke anyone but was besieged due to unfounded accusations. This is how it is; if you do not provoke me, I will naturally provoke you. Moreover, you hold things that do not belong to you. Hand over the Shuttle and Sun Refining Cauldron to me, and I can spare your lives and take you under my command." 0

Nangong Lin snorted. "You should take a good look in the mirror; asking me to submit to you, a traitor of your sect, is simply laughable! Without that monster beside you, do you think you're my match?" 0

"Oh?" A hint of interest appeared on Song Qianqiu's face as he jumped down from the Ghost King's shoulder. "Then why don't you give it a try? I'll stand right here without moving. If you can reach within three feet of me, I'll let you go and won't ask for the Shuttle or Sun Refining Cauldron." 0

"Overestimating yourself! Let's see what Divine Ability you've learned!" Nangong Lin roared. He knew that Nangong Lin must have greatly improved and learned some formidable Daoist Arts, so he gathered all his strength for a decisive strike. 0

With a brilliant flash of light from his fist, Five Poisons True Fire surged forth. Meng Xuanjian's face lit up with joy; Five Poisons True Fire was something no one could withstand. He hadn't expected that Nangong Lin had managed to cultivate some skill at such a young age. 0

However, just as Nangong Lin's fist was about to fully unleash its power, he suddenly let out a scream and fell to his knees. His eyes turned blood-red as he clutched his head and cried out in agony. 0

"Young Master!" Meng Xuanjian exclaimed in shock, not understanding why such a situation had suddenly arisen. 0

"What kind of sorcery is this?" Nangong Lin questioned, clutching his head as if his brain were about to explode. 0

Song Qianqiu chuckled softly and said, "There are some things you don't need to know. I will ask you one more time: are you willing to submit to my command?" 0

Meng Xuanjian lifted his head, suddenly pulling at the void with his right hand. A red light emerged, and sharp blades of energy shot toward Song Qianqiu from all directions. Song Qianqiu had no choice but to retreat, while the Ghost King wrapped his arms around Song Qianqiu to shield him from Meng Xuanjian's Daoist Arts. 0

In the midst of it all, Meng Xuanjian transformed into flames, disappearing from the spot with Nangong Lin. 0

Song Qianqiu stepped forward, using his folding fan to disperse the smoke and poisonous gas as he moved deeper into the valley. 0

Within the Fulong Formation, incantations swirled around as a flying shuttle carrying Meng Xuanjian and Nangong Lin soared into the air. Inside the shuttle was a cauldron radiating an ancient bronze glow. 0

The shuttle moved at incredible speed, unmatched by any other technique. 0

"Trying to escape?" Song Qianqiu scoffed, reaching for the shuttle high in the sky as the Sutra of the Great Wilderness Scripture spread outwards. 0

"This is bad!" Meng Xuanjian exclaimed in alarm, a wave of panic washing over him as he sensed his impending doom. He suddenly leaped from the shuttle, flames erupting from his palm as he pressed down on it. 0

His movements seemed to slow infinitely, time itself stretching. Nangong Lin turned back and saw Meng Xuanjian frozen in mid-air. Fear gripped his heart as the shuttle vanished into the clouds, taking him and the Sun Refining Cauldron away. 0

"Hmph!" Song Qianqiu fumed, swinging his folding fan. Instantly, a surge of Ghostly Energy struck Meng Xuanjian's body. 0

The text of the Great Wilderness Scripture faded away, and Meng Xuanjian fell from the air, spitting blood. He looked at where his heart was located; it had exploded, leaving him drained of power. 0

"What kind of Daoist Arts is this?" Meng Xuanjian asked in bewilderment, never having heard of such a bizarre technique that could inflict such severe damage without him even realizing it. 0

"You don't need to know," Song Qianqiu replied coldly. 0

"Why is this happening?" Meng Xuanjian murmured to himself. "Have you obtained forbidden techniques regarding time?" 0

Song Qianqiu ignored Meng Xuanjian and walked toward a clearing outside the Fulong Formation, where a new grave lay. 0

With a wave of his hand, the grave was opened, revealing the corpse of Nangong Yun inside. 0

"What are you trying to do? Don't desecrate the body of the God Serpent Cult Leader!" Meng Xuanjian shouted. 0

However, Meng Xuanjian had only taken two steps before he collapsed to the ground. His life force rapidly dissipated, and soon he lost consciousness, enveloped by Ghostly Energy. The Dao Qi within him quickly transformed into Ghostly Energy. 0

A black Yinwen floated from Song Qianqiu's fingertips and sank into Nangong Yun's corpse. The body struggled, and soon its eyes opened as it stood up. 0

Song Qianqiu shook his head and said, "In the end, there are no perfect Daoist Arts. Nangong Yun's Dao Body has already been destroyed; obtaining a shell with severed Meridians is utterly useless." 0

With that, Song Qianqiu conjured a flicker of Dao Fire in his hand and ignited Nangong Yun's corpse, which quickly turned to ash in the flames. 0

Meng Xuanjian stood behind Song Qianqiu with darkened eyes. Song Qianqiu glanced at him lightly and remarked, "As for you, you can still be of some use to me." 0

Song Qianqiu then flew onto the shoulder of the Ghost King. He gazed at the moonlight above, where Yin Soldiers were scattered across the foot of the desolate mountain. Some newly sprouted plants were tainted by Yin Qi, turning black and withering away. 0
