Song Qianqiu thrust his sword towards Dongfang Yuqing's heart, but the long sword broke, blocked by the Sword Momentum of the Five Element Sword. The Five Element Sword trembled, breaking free from the constraints of time and pulling Dongfang Yuqing out of the Time Barrier. 0

As Dongfang Yuqing regained his freedom, he felt a chill in his limbs. Just moments ago, he had sensed death so close; time around him had slowed infinitely. Mastering the Five Element Sword required an exceptionally strong mind, capable of perceiving the cultivation method that Song Qianqiu wielded, which was related to time. 0

The Five Element Sword was a treasured artifact passed down through generations in the Sword Pavilion, yet for centuries no one had managed to master it. It had become a useless sword, even the prodigy from Eastern Nine Cities could not wield it. However, when Dongfang Yuqing first laid eyes on the Five Element Sword, he sensed its unusual energy. 0

Exotic treasures are meant for those with talent. Divine weapons possess spirit and choose their masters; thus, when the Five Element Sword chose Dongfang Yuqing as its master, it naturally protected him completely. No one from ancient times who practiced the Five Elements Sword Technique had ever been able to control five swords simultaneously at such a young age. 0

With all five elements unleashed, both celestial beings and demons retreated, and evil creatures were vanquished. 0

Yet even with the might of the Five Element Sword, Dongfang Yuqing realized that he had narrowly escaped death just moments ago. 0

Song Qianqiu laughed heartily at Dongfang Yuqing's desperate retreat. "Dongfang, why are you in such a hurry to leave?" 0

Dongfang Yuqing had no words; this was his first defeat in a rivalry among peers. 0

In the distance, the Ghost King dragged the severely injured Dragon Tiger Mountain Sect Leader and tossed him before Song Qianqiu. Song Qianqiu glanced indifferently at the corpse of the Dragon Tiger Mountain Sect Leader and walked toward the forbidden area of Longhu Mountain. 0

Meanwhile, Dongfang Yuqing flew away on his sword with Zhang Dao'an, escaping beyond Longhu Mountain's territory. "My master is still on the mountain; I must go save him," Zhang Dao'an said. 0

"Dongfang Master," he continued, "that giant's power is at least in the Mahayana Realm, while your master is only in the Dao Fruit Realm. This battle is fraught with danger; going would be a futile sacrifice. Right now, you are Longhu Mountain's only heir. As long as there are green mountains, one need not worry about firewood." 0

"Indeed, Eastern Young Hero," a faint voice came from afar as a shadow flew down from the mountaintop. 0

"Master?" Zhang Dao'an looked towards the Dragon Tiger Mountain Sect Leader. "What happened to you?" 0

"My physical body has been destroyed; only a remnant soul has escaped. This place is not safe; I sense an overwhelming presence of Corpse Demons and Yin Soldiers. My remnant soul is about to dissipate; after I say a few words, you must leave immediately," said the Dragon Tiger Mountain Sect Leader. 0

Upon hearing this, Dongfang Yuqing turned to avoid looking back. The Dragon Tiger Mountain Sect Leader added, "Eastern Young Hero need not turn away. Now that my Longhu Mountain has fallen, there are no secrets worth preserving. Old Man must thank Eastern Young Hero for saving my disciple." 0

Dongfang Yuqing replied, "Master Xiao is being too polite." 0

The leader of the Dragon Tiger Mountain Sect looked at Zhang Dao'an and said, "Dao'an, my Longhu Mountain has a thousand years of heritage. Master Zhang Daoling was the Dao Sovereign back in the day, and Longhu Mountain was once the foremost sect among all. A century ago, during the Dark Turmoil, Longhu Mountain was at the pinnacle, but now it has declined with each generation. Decades ago, we were even suppressed by the military, and countless scriptures were destroyed. The Daoist Arts have been lost, and the decline of Longhu Mountain is irreversible. From now on, you are the sixty-eighth leader of Longhu Mountain. My task for you is to survive; do not seek revenge for me." 0

"Master, why is that?" Zhang Dao'an cried out. 0

The leader replied, "The one who tried to kill me should be the Underworld Demon King. If my guess is correct, that Song Qianqiu must have obtained the Demon King's Scripture. I always thought that the Daoist Catastrophe would be instigated by the Five Major Sects, but I never expected it to come from an obscure young man. You must avoid his sharpness and preserve your life; in this chaotic world, Longhu Mountain will not compete." 0

After finishing his words, the leader turned to Dongfang Yuqing and said, "Eastern Young Hero, although my request may seem abrupt, considering Senior Li Xiangyu's legacy, I hope you can take Dao'an away from here and temporarily protect his life." 0

"Rest assured, Master Zhang's disciple is my friend; I will take good care of him," Dongfang Yuqing replied. 0

The leader of the Dragon Tiger Mountain Sect nodded as his remnant soul became increasingly indistinct and scattered with the wind. 0

From the thicket on the mountain, several bloodied disciples of Longhu Mountain rushed out. Their eyes were hollow as they lunged at them with claws bared. Dongfang Yuqing swiftly cut these individuals in half with a single sword strike and said, "Master Zhang's disciple, let’s leave quickly." 0

Zhang Dao'an nodded and flew away with Dongfang Yuqing into the distance. 0

Thousands of miles away at the foot of Azure Mountain, Wu and Huzi walked together. After bidding farewell at Leiyin Temple, both felt sorrowful over Ghost Elder's death. They wanted to return to reflect for a while and sort through Ghost Elder's belongings. 0

Huzi looked around Azure Mountain and said, "It used to be like this when we were at Futu Ridge —surrounded by mountains on all sides. I never imagined that just a few years ago, Hao and I had no cultivation at all; now he has become a well-known figure in the Daoist Sect. It’s been so long since I’ve seen my parents." 0

Hearing Huzi mention his parents made Wu reminisce about Ghost Elder taking him to search for his biological parents during his lifetime. He gazed at the stone steps leading up to the mountain from the foot of Azure Mountain. These steps had been paved by villagers for Ghost Elder. 0

Wu remembered how Ghost Elder had him practice Frog Jump on those stone steps while teaching him martial arts and Daoist practices. 0

The two climbed up step by step until they reached the summit of Longhu Mountain. Huzi looked at a river flowing in the distance at the foot of Azure Mountain and asked, "Why is that river red?" 0

"Cangshan Blood River," Wu replied. "When I first came here, I also asked my master why Blood River was red. He didn’t know either; he just told me not to go near it because anyone who approached would drown for no reason. Perhaps we can check it out if nothing else happens." 0

As Wu spoke, a creaking sound of a door opening suddenly came from nearby. Wu and Huzi exchanged glances and walked toward the cave entrance. 0

The cave here used to be the retreat of the Ghost Elder. Just now, they hesitated to enter, only to find that someone was inside. 0

Wu stood at the entrance, looking at an old man who had his back turned to them, packing his belongings. "Who are you? There’s a seal from my master here. How did you get in?" 0

The old man turned around, and it was indeed the Ghost Elder. 0

"Disciple, you’ve returned?" the Ghost Elder said. 0

"Master..." Wu called out as he walked towards the old man. 0

Huzi interjected, "Wu, come back! Have you forgotten about Haozi?" 0

Wu seemed not to hear and asked, "Master, how did you end up here?" 0

"The reason is simple: I’ve been waiting for you, my good disciple. I have much to discuss with you," the Ghost Elder replied. 0

"Wu!" Huzi shouted. Just as he was about to step forward, he felt as if his feet were nailed to the ground and couldn’t move. 0

Wu stood before the Ghost Elder, tears welling in his eyes. He clenched his fists, a black and a white aura swirling around him. He threw a punch at the Ghost Elder's chest, sending him flying. A shadow was expelled from the Ghost Elder’s body but retreated halfway back inside. 0

"Get out of my master’s body!" Five Howls shouted. 0

The Ghost Elder stood up, patted his chest, and laughed. "Kid, it’s impressive how quickly your skills have advanced since we last met at Mount Hua. Truly remarkable! But what does that matter? I borrowed your master’s body. Now that I can survive, I’m free from destruction. You and your friends will accompany me to Yin Mountain as guests; Old Scholar wishes to see you." 0

Wu asked, "I have no connection with Old Scholar. Why does he want to see me?" 0

"The Divination Technique has shown something. Perhaps he has glimpsed a part of the future and has questions for you," the Ghost Elder explained. 0

"Fine, I’ll go with you, but I need to retrieve my master’s relics first. Wait for me," Wu said. 0

"I advise you not to play any tricks. I could kill you with just a finger." Ghost Elder. 0

Wudao walked towards the cave, gently turning a candlestick on the stone table. The cave trembled slightly, and a stone door appeared on the mountainside. "Don't follow me in." 0

Wudao entered through the stone door, which closed automatically behind him. After a while, noticing there was no movement inside, Ghost Elder glanced outside the cave. To his surprise, Huzi, who had been frozen in place, was gone. 0

Ghost Elder hurriedly turned the candlestick again, and the stone door opened. He stepped inside, only to find complete darkness; he couldn't see anything. 0

Ghost Elder sniffed the air and sensed something was off. He ignited Dao Fire in his hand, illuminating the cave. The moment the cave lit up, there was a thunderous explosion. The entire peak of Azure Mountain erupted. 0

In the distance, Wudao laughed heartily as Huzi asked, "Did you plant explosives in there?" 0

Wudao replied, "Neither my master nor I have money for explosives. That’s just where we relieve ourselves; it’s been a methane pit for years—just a spark and it blows!" 0

Huzi looked at him with an odd expression and said, "That was still Ghost Elder's physical body; you can't just..." 0
