Inside the hall, everyone fell silent as if frozen in fear. 0

The people present were either disciples of various sects or wandering cultivators with their own traditions. Disciples from the Daoist Sect typically traveled in groups, and when faced with danger or conflict, they would band together. No one dared to provoke those who lacked strength. 0

Everyone felt anger but could not voice it. Even those more powerful than the Outer Sect Disciples of Wudang dared not act against them, for they had backing. The Outer Sect Disciples were still Wudang Disciples, and if outsiders bullied them, the Inner Sect would surely come knocking. The Inner Sect disciples were formidable, and the elders of the Inner Sect were not to be trifled with. 0

The White-Haired Youth had just been doused with wine but only frowned slightly. As he wiped the liquid from his face, he glared at the boy in front of him, a murderous glint flashing in his eyes. 0

The boy said, "Wow, with five swords on your back, you look quite intimidating. But having more swords doesn’t necessarily make you better." 0

As the boy reached for one of the swords behind the White-Haired Youth, I stood up, holding my wine cup as I walked over to his table. I said, "If someone doesn’t want to give up their seat, why not just sit beside them? There’s plenty of room next to them; sitting in the middle won’t gain you anything." 0

"What the hell are you?" The boy glared at me, gritting his teeth. 0

I splashed my drink directly onto his face and replied, "Don’t use foul language when talking to others. Some people, even if you have King Laozi as your backing, you still can’t provoke." 0

Seeing me splash wine, a Wudang Disciple instantly drew his sword. The boy threw a punch at me, but I slapped him away effortlessly, sending him flying seven or eight meters. 0

"Kill him! Chop him into minced meat!" the boy shrieked. 0

The Wudang disciples looked at a middle-aged man among them. The man squinted and asked, "Who are you?" 0

I replied, "A nameless nobody." 0

"Do you know who you've provoked?" the middle-aged man asked. 0

"The leader of the righteous path, a disciple of Wudang. And you must be a senior disciple from the Outer Sect?" I said with a hint of mockery in my eyes. "In your thirties or forties and still in the Outer Sect, leading a bunch of rabble to bully others—why don’t you go find a disciple from the Three Supreme Sects or Emei to pick on? Who are you trying to impress here?" 0

The middle-aged man snorted and said, "It seems you're asking for trouble. No matter what sect you're from, we'll deal with you first!" 0

Seeing this commotion, the innkeeper hurriedly tried to intervene. The middle-aged man ignored him and waved his hand for everyone to attack. The White-Haired Youth's expression turned cold; he moved his finger slightly, and the sword hidden in its red sheath trembled ominously. I grabbed his wrist and said, "I've got this." 0

The White-Haired Youth retracted his incantation as I faced the incoming Wudang Disciples wielding long swords. I threw a punch at the first disciple charging at me; he flew backward and crashed outside the inn. One by one, I sent them flying with casual slaps that left them bloodied and disoriented. My strength was now so great that a single punch could easily kill these opponents if I didn’t hold back. 0

The crowd was thrown into disarray, crying out in pain, when a middle-aged man shouted and struck at my chest with a fist enveloped in a layer of yellowish light. 0

"Is that the Mountain Split Technique?" I hadn't expected someone from Wudang to practice this Daoist Art. The Mountain Split Technique had been incredibly helpful to me in the past, and now that I had mastered it, I found this version of the Cultivation Method to be relatively low-level. My own fist was also covered in a layer of yellowish light. When our fists collided with a loud bang, the middle-aged man's wrist broke instantly, and the bones in his arm protruded grotesquely from his skin. 0

"Get lost!" I glanced at the middle-aged man with indifference. He replied, "I wonder if you dare to share your name?" 0

"Yang Hao," I said. "But if I see you again, you might never see the sun rise." 0

The middle-aged man snorted coldly and left the inn with the moaning crowd behind him. I turned to the innkeeper and said, "Calculate the cost of the broken tables and chairs and put it on my tab." 0

I then looked at the White-Haired Youth and asked, "Care for a drink?" 0

The White-Haired Youth replied, "No time." 0

He stood up and headed upstairs. As he reached the stairs, he paused and turned slightly to say, "My name is Dongfang Yuqing." 0

I smiled as I watched the young man ascend to the loft. It seemed that this Dongfang Yuqing understood my intentions. 0

The reason I hadn't killed anyone at the peak earlier but instead wasted words on verbal admonitions was that I wanted to avoid causing too much commotion before the Mountain Guardian Barrier of Kunlun Yaochi was activated. Similarly, I had intervened for Dongfang Yuqing because I found him quite interesting; his cultivation level was on par with mine, and his sword was unique. Had he killed those Wudang disciples just now, it would have certainly caused an uproar. If Wudang's experts saw his actions as provocation, it would have led to a fierce battle. 0

Once the Mountain Guardian Barrier of Kunlun Yaochi was activated, things would be different. When that barrier opened, people from various sects would rush in to seize the Holy Medicine. At that point, Immortal talents would emerge, and disciples from different sects would compete fiercely; only the strong would survive while the weak would be eliminated—that was the rule of the Daoist Sect. 0

I returned to my seat and continued drinking, only heading back to my room in the early hours of the morning. 0

Not long after lying down, I fell into a deep sleep. I woke up at dawn, feeling fully refreshed as the sun had just begun to rise. After washing my face, I stepped out of my room and saw the White-Haired Youth coming out of a nearby room. 0

"Good morning," I greeted him. 0

The White-Haired Youth ignored me completely, turning away without even glancing in my direction as he walked down the corridor. 0

I shook my head and followed him downstairs. The lobby was filled with people lining up under the guidance of some older individuals heading toward the outskirts of town; it looked like they were making their way to Kunlun Mountain. 0

"Isn't it supposed to start later?" I murmured to myself. 0

A Shop Assistant standing nearby replied, "Daoist Master, it's three hundred miles from Yuelai Town to Kunlun Yaochi. Most people wouldn't make it on foot in time; some sects set off last night in the early hours. It's not too early for them now." 0

"Is that so? Thank you for letting me know," I said, glancing at the White-Haired Youth, Dongfang Yuqing, as he made his way through the crowd towards a path leading into Kunlun Mountain. 0

I stepped out of the inn, feeling unburdened and ready to set off. However, once I exited the throng, I realized that Dongfang Yuqing's figure had already vanished from sight. 0

I was familiar with the route from the southern foothills of Kunlun to Yaochi Sacred Land; maps were detailed in various Taoist Classics, clearly etched in my mind. Nearby was a mountain village called Zhang Family Village, which was the hometown of Zhang Jianzi. 0

Upon arriving at Zhang Family Village, I surveyed the desolate settlement. In front of the village lay a graveyard filled with wooden tombstones, each inscribed with names—there were exactly one hundred. If I guessed correctly, these were all the honorary graves that Zhang Jianzi had secretly erected for the villagers. 0

Behind the graveyard, in a barren mountain, there was a cave—a place that had been guarded by the people of Zhang Family Village for generations. This cave was marked on a treasure map stolen from Yaochi, indicating where Laozi Li Er buried the Martial Dao Classic. 0

Now that Zhang Jianzi had been forced to take his own life and the Martial Dao Classic had fallen into my hands, with the Starlight Stone merging with me, I possessed nothing of Zhang Jianzi's to honor him with an honorary grave. I activated the Zhou Compass's imagery and turned back time to over twenty years ago when Zhang Jianzi was still a young boy herding cattle. A pure and innocent smile adorned his face as he passed through me. I closed my eyes, unable to bear witnessing it any longer, and used Time Walk to disappear from Zhang Family Village. 0

By evening, I finally reached Yaochi's territory. Upon arriving at the mountains where Yaochi was located, I found tens of thousands of people gathered at the foot of the mountain. Not only had members of the Three Supreme Sects come here, but disciples from Wudang, Arched Eyebrows, and several hidden sects had also arrived. The opening of the Kunlun Yaochi Sacred Ground's barrier was a grand event—rarely seen in a thousand years—and it presented an opportunity for many cultivators to change their fates. 0

Hiding in the shadows, I spotted Nangong, Leader of the Serpent Cult, alongside Si Tu Nan. I also saw Dongfang Jiu, Master of Sword Sect, as well as members of the Yang Family. The Yang Family members were clad in black Daoist robes and looked like sorcerers; each one appeared frighteningly old, making it difficult to discern who among them was the Yang Family Head. 0

"In such circumstances, where are all the Supremes from each sect? They should be around one hundred and twenty or thirty years old by now. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; obtaining Holy Medicine could grant them an additional thirty years. Have they all perished?" I thought to myself while concealed behind a large tree as I observed where the Three Supreme Sects were gathered. 0

From my vantage point looking towards Yaochi's mountains, radiant hues filled the sky. A massive light screen resembling a Bright Moon enveloped the entire area surrounding Yaochi. People clustered around this light screen dared not approach; everywhere lay remnants of human and animal corpses. 0
