At the peak of Azure Cloud Mountain, a great battle was about to erupt. The Three Supreme Sects had arrived, with the Serpent Cult as the main force. 0

Disciples of the Azure Cloud Sect clashed with the Disciples of the Serpent Cult, and casualties on both sides were rapidly increasing. 0

Guo Huaiyi stood atop the mountain gate, casually waving a folding fan, a smile playing on his lips as he observed the chaos below. 0

The sects that had come to attend the memorial for the Grand Elder of the Azure Cloud Sect were also forced to join the fray. Under the guidance of their elders, they charged down the mountain, eager to distance themselves from the battlefield. It was clear to everyone that the Serpent Cult aimed to annihilate the Azure Cloud Sect, and there was no need for them to be buried alongside it. 0

I lay against the wall behind Azure Cloud Hall, my body riddled with broken bones and torn muscles. Even with my Holy Body, which granted me remarkable resilience, I was no match for someone as powerful as Nangong, whose skills far surpassed mine. 0

Before Azure Cloud Hall, Yunxi watched the battle unfold with cold eyes, her fighting spirit rising as she faced Nangong. 0

Several disciples of the Azure Cloud Sect stood in front of Yunxi, forming a Sword Formation to attack Nangong. Without even glancing their way, Nangong's battle robe billowed as flames erupted outward. Several disciples were instantly pierced through and fell lifeless to the ground, quickly reduced to charred remains. 0

Crimson Silks shot forth from all directions toward Nangong. He leaped into the air, evading the Crimson Silks, and struck at Yunxi with a fiery punch that descended like a dark cloud. 0

Yunxi was forced to retreat, her extending Crimson Silks incinerated in an instant. She shattered the remaining Crimson Silks and gazed at the unquenchable Poison Fire on the ground, her heart tightening as she spoke, "Five Poisons True Fire." 0

"You still have some knowledge," Nangong chuckled before launching another attack at Yunxi. 0

Yunxi met his strike with her palm, sliding back several dozen meters on her toes. The Crimson Silks behind her danced like countless threads gathering strength before suddenly shooting forward. Nangong clenched his fists tightly as protective Vital Energy enveloped his body. 0

A series of thuds echoed as a Crimson Silk pierced through his protective Vital Energy and penetrated his body. 0

"Master!" an elder from the Serpent Cult shouted, rushing forward to assist. 0

"Step back," Nangong commanded. He looked down at his pierced body and remarked, "I must be getting old; it's been years since I've been injured." 0

Dao Fire erupted around him like a fire god. As flames engulfed his body, he opened his eyes wide, firelight shooting toward Yunxi. 0

Yunxi spun on her feet, narrowly avoiding Nangong's Divine Ability, a strand of her long hair singed in the process. She tilted her body, and a Crimson Silk shot from her wrist, wrapping around Nangong's ankle. With a sudden pull, Nangong's body flipped in mid-air and crashed onto the ground like a hungry tiger pouncing on its prey. 0

Yunxi severed the Crimson Silk and soared above Azure Cloud Hall. Nangong's palm struck empty air, instantly turning dozens of disciples caught in the chaos into a mist of blood. 0

The Poison Fire spread, forcing everyone to retreat. 0

"True Fire of Taiyi?" Yang Yunfei frowned as he stepped back. 0

A young man from Sword Pavilion beside Dongfang Jiu said, "Master, what kind of dark arts is Nangong using?" 0

Dongfang Jiu replied, "That's True Fire of Taiyi, a renowned Daoist art from the ancient Daoist Grandmaster Taiyi Zhenren. Later, his disciples established the Five Poisons Cult and renamed it Five Poisons True Fire. Eventually, the Underworld Sect united to eradicate the Five Poisons Cult, causing the Five Poisons True Fire to vanish. I never expected that old rascal Nangong would obtain it and master it to such an extent; it seems he has reached a remarkable level of fire control." 0

Daoists cultivate their Dao Fire in three levels: Open Flame, Earth Fire, and True Fire. Open Flame can be cultivated by anyone at the Foundation Establishment Realm, while Earth Fire requires at least the Core Formation Stage. As for True Fire, due to its time-consuming and labor-intensive nature, few dedicate themselves to raising their Dao Fire level; even a nearly hundred-year-old Daoist Grandmaster might not achieve it. 0

Nangong's Five Poisons True Fire terrified everyone, making them hesitate to approach. Yunxi looked at her hand; her palm had turned purple. 0

Nangong laughed heartily and said to Yunxi, "Girl, knowing it's Five Poisons True Fire yet still choosing to take my palm strike—you're truly asking for trouble." 0

Yunxi furrowed her brow and remained silent as she wrapped the Crimson Silk around his arm to force out the poison from his palm. 0

"It's too late now!" Nangong roared as a Blazing Flame Whip appeared in his hand and struck towards Yunxi. 0

Yunxi leaped into the air, flipping to evade Nangong's whip. The whip cracked loudly, heating the air around them and wilting nearby trees. 0

Surrounded by swirling Crimson Silk and enveloped in Dao Qi, Yunxi blocked the fire poison from the Five Poisons True Fire. She shot out her Crimson Silk again but was easily dodged by Nangong. 0

With another swing of his whip, Yunxi flew towards a pillar of the grand hall, while behind her, the hall was split in two by a surge of fiery light. 0

I stood up from behind the hall, clutching my chest as I walked out. 0

Yunxi glanced at me, hesitating to speak. I could see her face was drenched in sweat, her fingers trembling slightly, and her palms darkened—clearly a sign of being poisoned. 0

"Yunxi!" I shouted her name and threw a bottle of Millennium Medicine King Ointment to her, but the bottle shattered mid-air. I glared at Dongfang Jiu. Sword Sect Master Dongfang Jiu looked innocent as he said, "Sorry, the sword slipped." 0

Yunxi frowned, wrapping me in Crimson Silk and tossing me to the back of the hall. She communicated through thought, "You need to find a way to escape; the Azure Cloud Sect can't hold on any longer." 0

"Trying to send your lover away? It's not that easy!" Yang Yunfei chuckled as he soared up into the treetops to catch me. 0

I activated Time Walk to evade Yang Yunfei and landed above the hall. 0

Yang Yunfei followed closely like a shadow. I summoned the Dragon Abyss Sword and slashed out; the sword's aura was shocking. Yang Yunfei was startled and quickly twisted in mid-air to dodge, but a giant tree behind him was cleaved in two. 0

"What kind of monster is this?" Yang Yunfei exclaimed, taken aback by the powerful Demonic energy emanating from my sword. 0

Whoosh! 0

A phantom streaked past, severing Yang Yunfei's Achilles tendon, causing him to plummet into the abyss. A nimble earring flew back towards Yunxi, who lightly tapped it with her index finger, sending it flying toward Nangong. 0

Nangong stood still, allowing the earring to approach. The protective fire barrier surrounding him was impenetrable; sparks flew as he flicked his finger sharply, sending the earring ricocheting back. Yunxi's hair stirred slightly as she retrieved the earring, her Crimson Silk swirling around her. 0

Yunxi closed her eyes and silently chanted a spell. The Crimson Silk spread out like Thousand-Handed Avalokiteshvara, attacking Nangong. His protective fire barrier wavered dangerously, on the verge of dissipating, sparks flying from his body as he lashed out with a flaming whip toward Yunxi. She leaped down from a stone pillar and struck down Nangong's protective barrier with a palm. 0

As the barrier shattered, Yunxi pressed her palm against Nangong's chest. He grunted and unleashed Five Poisons True Fire, instantly engulfing Yunxi. 0

A burst of flames shot backward as Nangong pressed his advantage, punching into the fire. A muffled groan came from within as Yunxi retreated to the edge of the cliff. With a sweep of her long sleeves, she dispersed the flames; behind her, the Crimson Silk burned brightly. Her face was illuminated by the flames, appearing both beautiful and resolute. 0

At that moment, someone flew up from below the cliff—it was Yang Yunfei, who had been knocked off earlier. He struck Yunxi hard on the back; she was sent flying with such force that it could shatter rocks. 0

Yunxi spat blood and nearly collapsed. 0

"Yang Yunfei, you shameless old thief!" I shouted angrily, slashing my sword forward. 0

Yang Yunfei was enveloped in Purple Qi, dodging the sword energy of the Dragon Abyss Sword. He struck my chest with his palm, sending me flying backward, skimming along the ground. 0

At that moment, the furious Nangong lashed out at Yunxi with a whip. I looked at Yunxi and threw the Dragon Abyss Sword toward her, shouting, "Yunxi!" 0

Yunxi caught the Dragon Abyss Sword and swung it, unleashing a dragon's roar as she cleaved through Nangong's treasured Dragon Flame Whip, shattering it into three pieces. 0

Nangong let out a furious roar and appeared before Yunxi in an instant, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake; even the bluestone floor was scorched hot. 0

Yunxi swung her sword horizontally, but Nangong caught the Sword Body of the Dragon Abyss Sword with his bare hands. His palms glowed like molten lava, absorbing all the sword energy. He then punched Yunxi, shattering her protective Dao Qi. She spat out blood and staggered backward, flying across the ruined Azure Cloud Hall. 0

"Yunxi! Shifu Uncle!" Several disciples saw Yunxi in such a dire state and rushed forward with their swords drawn to stab at Nangong. With a disdainful grunt, Nangong waved his hand, and their heads fell to the ground, their blood turning to ash. 0

Nangong roared, "To kill a mere guardian of a small sect requires such effort." 0

"Brother Nangong, I have my eye on that girl's sword. You should rest over there," Dongfang Jiu suddenly said, gazing greedily at the Dragon Abyss Sword in Yunxi's hands. 0

Dongfang Jiu swung his Withered Grass toward Yunxi. She raised her sword to block it, but Withered Grass shattered upon impact. However, Yunxi was forced back a step, her arm trembling and bleeding, her breath unstable. 0
