"You go in and see him," the doctor stepped aside for Jono.
Jono froze, unable to accept what was happening.
How could that man, who could turn the tides with a mere flick of his hand, lose his life because of a trivial car accident?
She walked step by step into the room, the cold operating theater making her tremble all over, just like four years ago when she was pushed into the operating room. The icy corridor felt like she was stepping into hell.
She saw the person lying in the operating room, already covered with a white sheet. Jono's legs went weak, and she could barely summon the strength to walk to the side of the operating table. She placed her hand on his, feeling the coldness through the fabric.
The gradually stiffening hand sent a chill through Jono's heart.
Jin Chengyan was dead!
"No!" Jono collapsed beside the operating table, gripping his stiff arm tightly. "Jin Chengyan, you can't die! You can't... What am I supposed to do if you leave me?"

Jono turned around in an instant and saw Jin Chengyan. He had a slight injury on his forehead but was clearly not in any life-threatening danger.

He loved Jin Chengyan, yes, truly!
"I love you too, Jono. I heard everything you just said. From now on, you have no reason to leave my side." It turned out that Jono had endured so much pain alone.
It wasn't that he didn't want to be with him; he had been threatened.

At that moment, a middle-aged couple rushed in from outside the operating room. He tore at her clothes, wanting to possess the woman he loved in the most primal way!

"Believe me." Jono clung to his neck, refusing to let herself fall. She held him tightly, feeling the warmth radiating from him, intense and stirring.
He would be the first man in her life, and also the last.
Receiving Jono's affirmative answer, Jin Chengyan kissed her lips again. He liked this answer; in truth, he only wanted to hear Jono say it.
He tore away the last remnants of their restraint, gripping her waist as he prepared to enter her. Suddenly, Jono gasped.

Jono blushed and avoided looking at Jin Chengyan's body.
It wasn't that she didn't want to; it was just that she wasn't in a suitable condition for such activities right now. Otherwise, the baby would be in danger. It had already been difficult enough to conceive this child, and if anything went wrong, she truly didn't know if she could have another.
Jin Chengyan sulkily put on his clothes, beginning to doubt Jono's feelings for him. He wondered what barriers still existed between them; why, even at this moment, she was unwilling to surrender herself to him?
