Bai Yu frowned, looking at the changes in Wang Niu's hands, feeling quite puzzled. This was indeed very strange!
"Look!"
Wang Niu slightly lowered the item in his hand to the ground.
Bai Yu was immediately startled; this was something they had worked hard to obtain. How could Wang Niu just carelessly put it on the ground?

Bai Yu paused for a moment and looked down at the ground, only to see that the Yin Tooth Powder had instantly turned black!
Bai Yu's eyes widened in astonishment, unable to believe it. "What is happening?"
Wang Niu chuckled, "I figured it out; it must be my aura affecting it! If the Yin Tooth Powder is black, then it won't work!"
Bai Yu nodded. Wang Niu walked over to a tree and placed the item on a leaf. Soon, the Yin Tooth Powder turned white again!
"Bai Yu, help me lift Feng Ju!" Wang Niu quickly moved to Feng Ju's side, signaling Bai Yu.
Bai Yu nodded and lifted Feng Ju while Wang Niu placed the item into Feng Ju's mouth. After Feng Ju finished eating, Wang Niu felt anxious and looked at Bai Yu. "Why hasn't there been any change yet?"
Bai Yu's brows were deeply furrowed as she focused on Feng Ju. She opened Feng Ju's clothing and saw that the black spots on his body were slowly disappearing, which made her eyes widen in disbelief!
"Look!" Bai Yu exclaimed in surprise, and Wang Niu also noticed Feng Ju's condition at the same time!
They were both astonished by what they saw; they hadn't expected the Yin Tooth Powder to be so effective!
This excitement made Wang Niu eager as he said to Bai Yu, "Quickly give the rest to Xiaomei!"
Bai Yu nodded and handed the remaining Yin Tooth Powder to Xiaomei. After Xiaomei consumed it, the black spots on her body also vanished in an instant!
Wang Niu and Bai Yu immediately felt the effects of the Yin Tooth Powder! However, Feng Ju and Xiaomei did not wake up, which puzzled both of them.
Wang Niu observed for a while before saying to Bai Yu, "Why haven't they woken up yet?" Bai Yu also found it strange and shook her head in response. "I don't know; logically speaking, they should have woken up by now!"
Wang Niu's heart sank; could something have gone wrong? This thought made him increasingly anxious as he seemed to ponder something.
Bai Yu noticed Wang Niu lost in thought and was momentarily stunned. After a while, seeing him still in that state made her instinctively nudge him. "What's wrong with you?"
Wang Niu snapped back to reality and looked at Bai Yu. "I'm fine; I'm just thinking about the reason!"
Bai Yu nodded thoughtfully and then seemed to remember something. She said to Wang Niu, "I think I might have figured it out!"
Wang Niu's eyes lit up as he looked at Bai Yu. "Really?"
Bai Yu approached Feng Ju and Xiaomei, pointing at them as she spoke. "Look here at their necks!"
Wang Niu glanced over and saw a black mark still present on their necks!
This left Wang Niu dumbfounded; how could that mark still be there? Hadn't those black spots disappeared earlier?
"Bai Yu, could it be that the medicine they took earlier didn't work?" Wang Niu asked with confusion. Bai Yu shook her head in response. "No, this is a sealing aura from this place; it has nothing to do with the Yin Tooth Powder they just consumed. We need to take them away from this world before they can return to where they belong!"
Wang Niu's heart sank as he seemed to realize something while looking at Bai Yu thoughtfully.
"What's wrong?" Bai Yu asked when she noticed Wang Niu was silent.
Wang Niu shook his head, recalling Ruoxi who still needed rescuing. He looked at Bai Yu and said, "Bai Yu, can you help me with something?"
Bai Yu looked at him curiously as he pointed towards the unconscious Xiaomei and Feng Ju. "Can you take them to a safe place first? Just to the border?"
Bai Yu was surprised by Wang Niu's request. "You mean you want to go save Ruoxi alone?"
Wang Niu nodded at Bai Yu; if he kept them close by, their danger would only increase! Making this decision would ultimately be better for everyone!
"Okay!" Bai Yu agreed without hesitation, which touched Wang Niu even more. He said to her, "Bai Yu, what will you do afterward?"
Bai Yu hesitated for a moment before shaking her head. After a while, she told Wang Niu, "I'll first get them to safety; you take care of yourself!"
Wang Niu acknowledged with a sound as Bai Yu took Feng Ju and Xiaomei away!
Wang Niu watched Bai Yu's retreating figure with a serious expression before leaving himself towards Toothless River!
At Toothless River, numerous flashes sparkled on the water's surface!
Wang Niu approached the riverbank, his gaze fixed on Toothless River!
"What is that?"
His attention was suddenly drawn by a beam of light in the river; he felt an odd sense of familiarity with what lay ahead! Slowly moving closer, he realized that the light seemed to be a person—Ruoxi appeared before him!
He froze in disbelief as he gazed at Ruoxi! How could she carry the aura of a demon lord?
In that moment of panic, he rushed forward just as Ruoxi seemed to sense someone behind her; she turned around abruptly and locked eyes with Wang Niu. Her expression changed dramatically as she leaped out of the water directly toward him. Before he could react or evade her attack, Ruoxi struck him unexpectedly—he stared wide-eyed in disbelief at Ruoxi!
Her gaze remained cold as ever!
"Ruoxi, you—"
"Heh heh, I've wanted to kill you for a long time!" Ruoxi suddenly spoke up!
Wang Niu couldn't believe his ears as he looked at Ruoxi incredulously. "What are you saying? Ruoxi, do you even know what you're talking about?"
Ruoxi sneered: "Do I need to know? We are from different worlds; naturally I want you dead—to avenge Second Demon Consort!"
Upon hearing this name, Wang Niu lost his composure completely.
"Second Demon Consort? You know about Second Demon Consort?" His eyes widened in shock.
Ruoxi coldly laughed at him: "Of course I know; do you think everything I've done is not because of Second Demon Consort?"
Wang Niu couldn't comprehend how Ruoxi could be connected with Second Demon Consort when they were from entirely different worlds—it must be that Ruoxi had been enchanted by Second Demon Consort!
"Ruoxi, have you been cursed by Second Demon Consort?"
Ruoxi glared coldly at him: "I haven't been cursed; regardless of anything else, once you kill Second Demon Consort, I will make sure you pay for your life!"
With that said, Ruoxi raised her hand and stabbed into herself fiercely—instantly causing Wang Niu to spit out Black Blood!
Ruoxi was taken aback by this turn of events; she stared wide-eyed at Wang Niu as if sensing something amiss—she quickly helped him up: "Wang Jun, what's wrong with you?"
Initially pale-faced from Ruoxi’s attack, upon hearing her call his name now left him stunned—he couldn't believe what he heard from her!
"Ruoxi... have you regained your memory?" His gaze was filled with urgency.
Ruoxi hesitated for a moment; she felt an intense pain in her head!
"I... I don't know; my head hurts so much!" Ruoxi exclaimed toward Wang Niu!
Wang Niu closed his eyes as if deep in thought before reaching out his hand toward Ruoxi’s head—she froze in surprise at his touch!
Then suddenly feeling something within her mind—a dark aura controlling her consciousness—he said urgently: "Ruoxi, hold on; I'll help you get rid of it slowly!"
Ruoxi nodded slightly but then seemed to sense something else—she looked at Wang Niu and said: "I remember now!"
Wang Niu looked at her in surprise just as she attempted to summon her powers—the dark force within her surged upward unexpectedly causing both of them to jump back in shock!
At that moment, Ruoxi felt an increasing pain in her head as if her consciousness was fading away bit by bit.
Wang Niu anxiously watched Ruoxi’s expression change gradually back toward its original state!
"Ruoxi, you must endure—I’ll remove this power right now!"
Ruoxi heard him but everything sounded hazy; she gazed at him saying: "It hurts so much... I feel like I can't hold on any longer!"
At that moment, Wang Niu noticed Ruoxi’s eyes turning increasingly red!
"This isn't good; we can't let this continue!" A strong sense of crisis surged within him—at that moment he realized something important and told Ruoxi: "Just wait a bit longer!"
He poured all his strength into Ruoxi—instantly causing wisps of faint smoke to rise from her body which made him increasingly anxious as another flash erupted from her form!
His heart raced as both were thrown apart violently onto the ground—Wang Niu landed heavily while so did Ruoxi!
He rushed over seeing blood trickling from Ruoxi’s mouth which made his heart drop—he scooped her up immediately: "Ruoxi, are you okay?"
Ruoxi shook her head weakly but now her gaze had returned to normal clarity!
"Ruoxi?"
