Wang Niu was momentarily stunned, a complex expression flashing across his face as he looked at Bai Yu, unsure of what to say. Just then, a strange scent wafted into Wang Niu's nose, causing him to pause and glance at Feng Ju and Xiaomei. He noticed an unusual aura emanating from them.
"What’s going on?" Wang Niu felt a wave of unease wash over him.
Bai Yu turned to Feng Ju and the others, then said to Wang Niu, "It seems they’ve been sealed somehow!"
Wang Niu furrowed his brow in confusion and asked, "Are you saying someone did something to them?"
Bai Yu nodded and stepped in front of Feng Ju, commanding, "Come here!"
Wang Niu looked at Bai Yu with confusion. Bai Yu's serious demeanor sent a chill down his spine. "What’s wrong?" he asked.
Bai Yu frowned as he lifted Feng Ju's shirt, revealing terrifying black marks on his body.
Wang Niu's face turned pale as he stared in disbelief. "What is happening?"
He looked at Bai Yu, his eyes filled with shock.
Bai Yu's expression grew grave. "These are signs of being sealed. Even your friend might have them!"
Wang Niu felt a jolt of fear as he gazed at Bai Yu. "Are you sure?"
Bai Yu nodded, prompting Wang Niu to carefully lift Xiaomei's shirt. When he glanced at her abdomen, he froze; it was covered in black patches!
He took a deep breath and placed his hand on Xiaomei's head, channeling energy into her. In an instant, dark mist erupted from her forehead, leaving Wang Niu feeling hollow inside.
Looking at Xiaomei, he saw toxins being expelled from her forehead, which left Bai Yu stunned. It seemed he realized something and asked Wang Niu, "What is this?"
Wang Niu pointed to the area Xiaomei indicated and replied, "That’s the mark from where I forced the toxins out of Xiaomei!"
A strange object appeared on Xiaomei's abdomen, causing Bai Yu to be taken aback.
"Wang Niu, are you mistaken?" Bai Yu suddenly exclaimed! Wang Niu was dumbfounded, unable to believe what he was hearing. How could he be wrong? He had specifically used his energy to bring this about!
"Look!" Bai Yu’s actions became frantic as Wang Niu noticed that Xiaomei's abdomen had begun to rot. This left him in shock as he stared at Bai Yu.
"How could it turn into this?" Fear filled Wang Niu's eyes!
Bai Yu sighed and said, "If you don’t stop now, your friend will be in serious trouble!"
Wang Niu’s heart raced as he withdrew his hand. At that moment, he sensed something and pulled back the energy from Xiaomei. Instantly, her abdomen returned to its original state!
Wang Niu breathed a sigh of relief.
He approached Bai Yu and asked urgently, "What do we need to do to save them both?"
Bai Yu pondered for a moment before asking Wang Niu, "Do you know about something called Yin Tooth Powder?"
Wang Niu was taken aback. "What is that?"
Bai Yu suddenly looked towards a specific direction with curiosity and asked Wang Niu, "What’s wrong?"
Wang Niu shook his head and replied, "I’m just curious about what Yin Tooth Powder is!"
"Do you see that place over there?" Bai Yu pointed.
Wang Niu instinctively followed Bai Yu's finger and was puzzled by what lay ahead.
Bai Yu took a deep breath. "That’s a Ghost Cave!"
Wang Niu’s expression shifted in surprise; he hadn’t expected there would be a Ghost Realm in this demonic world!
"What did you say?"
Bai Yu repeated himself, which surprised Wang Niu even more; he couldn’t believe such a place existed!
"You mean this is a Ghost Cave?"
Wang Niu looked towards the area Bai Yu indicated; it indeed appeared eerie as described.
Bai Yu nodded affirmatively. "Yes, it truly is a Ghost Cave!"
Wang Niu frowned as he recalled what had just been said. "Are you suggesting we take the teeth from those ghosts and grind them into powder?"
Upon hearing this from Wang Niu, Bai Yu nodded in agreement. "Exactly!"
Wang Niu instinctively turned to look back at Feng Ju and Xiaomei! No matter what it took, if it meant saving them both, he was willing to try anything!
Nodding at Bai Yu after ensuring Feng Ju and Xiaomei were settled safely, they made their way back to where Bai Yu had been before.
Bai Yu surveyed the surroundings and was immediately taken aback by how heavy the Yin Qi felt here.
An unusual aura filled the air around them, leaving Bai Yu stunned.
"Wang Niu, doesn’t this place feel strange?"
Bai Yu pointed around while Wang Niu nodded in agreement. "It does feel odd! Do you think something here is altering the magnetic field?"
In addition to what Bai Yu mentioned, Wang Niu sensed that something had been injected into the area around them!
Bai Yu was momentarily stunned before saying cautiously to Wang Niu, "Yes, you’re right; something has definitely been injected here. We need to be careful!"
Wang Niu nodded at Xiaomei as they cautiously stepped deeper into the Ghost Cave!
He kept an eye on their surroundings as the mist thickened ominously like black fog.
"Wang Niu! Be careful! It feels like something is approaching us!" Bai Yu warned him.
Wang Niu nodded just as an eerie shadow flickered before him!
Startled, he quickly unleashed Emperor Light!
As Emperor Light illuminated the area around them, everything transformed into a brightly lit space!
"Look!" Bai Yu gasped when everything became clear; they could see that they were surrounded by ghosts!
"What are these ghosts doing here?" Although Wang Niu had seen many ghostly things before this moment, the sight of these particular ghosts frightened him!
These ghosts were terrifyingly fierce with long teeth resembling those of elephants!
Taking a deep breath, Wang Niu noticed that Bai Yu was observing these creatures intently.
Suddenly taking another deep breath himself, Bai Yu asked Wang Niu anxiously: "Do you think these things might attack us?"
The possibility made Wang Niu cautious; it wasn’t out of the question!
"We just need to stay alert!" Wang Niu replied firmly.
Bai Yu nodded while recalling what she had previously said about needing Yin Tooth Powder from one specific ghost.
After thinking for a moment, she pointed out: "It’s the one at the back!"
Following her gesture with his gaze revealed that among all these ghosts stood an ominous coffin radiating an eerie glow—this sight left Wang Niu stunned!
Could this coffin be what Bai Yu referred to?
"Are you sure?" Wang Niu sighed; if it truly was that coffin, they could be in serious danger!
Bai Yu confirmed with a nod: “Yes! It’s definitely that coffin!”
Nodding back at her determination while contemplating their next move carefully led Wang Niu to suggest: “How about this? You stay here while I go retrieve the ghost's teeth from inside that coffin. Otherwise, those surrounding ghosts will surely awaken!”
Bai Yu hesitated briefly; she understood Wang Niu’s intentions but didn’t want him taking such risks!
"But that would put you in danger too!"
Sighing deeply again as she spoke those words made it clear how much she cared for him.
"It’s fine," Wang Niu reassured her gently. “You’ve already risked so much for me; I can’t keep putting you in danger!”
Seeing his resolve stirred complex emotions within her heart; ultimately she nodded reluctantly just then when suddenly the ground began shaking violently beneath them—causing both of them great anxiety as they watched those previously still ghosts collapse onto the ground forming an entangled net!
"What do we do now?" Bai Yu looked worriedly at Wang Niu!
"It’s okay! I’ll handle it!"
With determination fueling him forward despite feeling overwhelmed by dread from past experiences involving these creatures—he jumped ahead toward those fallen bodies knowing full well that if any movement occurred near that coffin trouble would surely follow!
As obstacles continued blocking his path while sweat dripped down his forehead—he pressed onward until finally reaching its front only hearing warnings echoing behind him from Bai Yu urging caution!
Before he could react further—a ghost suddenly awakened behind him seemingly readying itself for confrontation!
Quickly dodging aside allowed him just enough time before realizing its elongated arm reached out threateningly toward him—instinctively sensing danger looming ahead!
