Upon hearing the words, Bai Yu and Wang Niu were momentarily stunned, exchanging glances filled with disbelief. They couldn't fathom that the Hundred King would be so kind; surely, someone had said something to him just moments ago.
"What’s the matter?" The Hundred King's tone grew heavier as he noticed their reluctance to respond.
This made Bai Yu and Wang Niu's hearts race. They looked at the Hundred King, their minds racing with questions.
Suddenly, the Hundred King's expression darkened. At that moment, Bai Yu quickly recalled what White King had said earlier.
"Alright, we agree. In addition, we are willing to help you seize the Magic Stone."
Bai Yu's words astonished the Hundred King, and a hint of surprise flickered across his face.
"Are you serious?" White King asked excitedly, gazing intently at Bai Yu.
Bai Yu nodded earnestly at the Hundred King.
Then, the Hundred King led them to his domain.
Unlike the Demon King's residence, the Hundred King lived in a swamp.
In the center of the swamp lay a vast area, and reaching it from the surrounding marshes required considerable effort.
As Wang Niu pondered over this, the Hundred King suddenly produced an object whose nature was unclear. He waved it in the air a few times, and in an instant, a structure resembling a bridge appeared before them. This left both Wang Niu and Bai Yu astonished; they hadn't expected such power from the Hundred King. They realized they needed to be even more cautious.
Once the bridge was established, the Hundred King's gaze turned toward them.
"Let's go," he said, leading the way across.
Seeing this, Wang Niu hurriedly nudged Bai Yu. "Bai Yu, are we really going to stay with the Hundred King? He doesn’t seem like a good person."
Bai Yu nodded in response. "I know, but the situation is quite special now; we have no choice. However, for now, I believe the Hundred King won't harm us."
Wang Niu recalled what Bai Yu had said earlier.
"Is there some immense power within this Magic Stone?" Wang Niu asked curiously.
Bai Yu confirmed with a nod.
After that, they fell silent and continued following White King as they walked on.
Upon reaching the center, Wang Niu noticed that the bridge behind them had vanished.
"You can stay here," said the Hundred King.
White King led them to a place, and Wang Niu looked around, finding the accommodations quite acceptable.
“Thank you, White King,” Bai Yu immediately adopted a respectful demeanor. White King nodded and said, “As long as you remain loyal to me, I will not treat you poorly.”
Bai Yu quickly nodded in agreement, saying, “Rest assured, we will be loyal to you, White King.”
With that, White King left with satisfaction.
Once White King was gone, Wang Niu became restless and directly addressed Bai Yu, “I just saw that bridge disappear.”
Bai Yu nodded at Wang Niu. The disappearance of the bridge was indeed normal; it was a precaution set by White King to prevent their escape.
“It’s fine; at least we are safe. However, come tomorrow morning, Hundred King might want us to take him to find the Magic Stone,” Bai Yu said, his expression turning serious.
This made Wang Niu instantly curious. He asked Bai Yu, “Where exactly is this Magic Stone?”
“It’s located on the Toothless River,” Bai Yu replied.
At once, Wang Niu was taken aback. The Toothless River?
Bai Yu nodded and explained that the Toothless River was a terrifying place where anyone who came near would be affected by its ominous aura.
Upon hearing this, Wang Niu became intrigued. “What kind of effect does it have?”
Bai Yu explained, “You should know that we possess energy. However, when we reach the Toothless River, our energy completely vanishes.”
Wang Niu looked at Bai Yu in astonishment. He had not expected the Toothless River to hold such power.
Sighing, Wang Niu said to Bai Yu, “If that’s the case, how are we supposed to obtain the Magic Stone? It must be very difficult to acquire.”
Bai Yu nodded; indeed, the Toothless River was quite treacherous. Not only that, it felt very dangerous. With this thought, Bai Yu's brow furrowed even deeper.
He let out a deep sigh, and just then, strange sounds began to echo around them. These sounds resembled the voices of small children, but how could there be children here?
Wang Niu took a deep breath and said to Bai Yu, "Something seems off here."
Bai Yu nodded in agreement. "Yes, it seems like there are children nearby, but this place shouldn't have any children at all. I feel something is wrong; it must be that Hundred King brought the children here."
Wang Niu's heart sank at the thought. If that were the case, they had an obligation to rescue those children.
After a while, the sounds suddenly ceased as if they had vanished into thin air.

So, Wang Niu and Bai Yu stepped out of the house. At that moment, Wang Niu seemed to sense something and said to Bai Yu, "Look over there."
Bai Yu turned to see a wisp of White Mist not far away, drifting toward a peculiar location.
This made Bai Yu's heart skip a beat as he immediately grabbed Wang Niu and headed toward the spot they had just seen.
When they arrived, they discovered a transparent protective barrier in front of them.
Wang Niu stood frozen in disbelief, staring at the barrier. It seemed to have been created by Hundred King.
"Bai Yu, do you think this could be related to Hundred King?"
Bai Yu looked at Wang Niu with a serious expression and nodded. "It's possible."
Then Wang Niu felt a strange aura rushing toward him.
His eyes widened in an instant as he quickly dodged the energy. Just then, it struck the transparent barrier in front of them, causing it to shatter.
Wang Niu's heart raced as he turned to Bai Yu and said, "It seems like it's a person."
Bai Yu heard this and immediately turned to look behind her, only to catch a glimpse of a white shadow flickering past them.
She quickly reached out and grabbed it, seizing whatever it was in her hands.
"Ah!" The creature let out a painful cry.
Bai Yu and Wang Niu were startled, realizing it was a small child.
Bai Yu quickly released the child from her grasp.
"Who are you?" Bai Yu asked the child.
Anything that appeared here must be significant.
The child looked quite aggrieved. "You are so scary!"
This left Bai Yu and Wang Niu momentarily stunned. Wang Niu's tone softened as he looked at the child. "Can you tell us who you are and why you are here?"
Upon hearing Wang Niu's voice, the child's mood brightened. "I am the Spirit Immortal who protects these children."
"Spirit Immortal?" Wang Niu looked at Bai Yu in confusion.
Bai Yu's expression darkened further.
"Since you are a Spirit Immortal, why are you here?" Bai Yu asked, puzzled.
The Spirit Immortal sighed and said to Bai Yu, "I am here because of the Hundred King. The Hundred King captured me and not only that, I also saw the Hundred King capturing all the children in the demon realm."
"What did you say?" Bai Yu was instantly alarmed, her expression turning to one of shock. She never expected the Hundred King to be so bold.
"Has no one noticed?" Bai Yu asked the Spirit Immortal.
The Spirit Immortal shook his head. Then, Wang Niu seemed to understand something and said to Bai Yu, "It must be some magic used by the Hundred King."
Spirit Immortal nodded at Wang Niu.
"But why did you attack us just now?" Wang Niu asked, confused.
This made Spirit Immortal feel a bit embarrassed; he hadn't attacked them at all.
"Um," Wang Niu looked at Spirit Immortal with curiosity.
Suddenly, Spirit Immortal's expression changed to one of discomfort as he awkwardly said, "I... I misunderstood you."
This left both Wang Niu and Bai Yu feeling quite awkward.
"Alright, since it was a misunderstanding, let's go look for those children together," Bai Yu said, brightening Spirit Immortal's mood.
"You are also looking for those children?" he asked.
"Yes, just a moment ago when we were in our room, we heard their cries and found it strange, which is why we came out," Bai Yu explained to Spirit Immortal.

Wang Niu glanced at the sky and said to the two, "Let's go."
The three of them walked inside together. It was then that they heard the children's voices again.

They rushed inside and were met with the sight of children being suspended in mid-air by the people of "Hundred King."
Not only that, but the dark mist surrounding them was being drawn out. This left "Wang Niu" momentarily stunned. He turned to "Bai Yu" and "Spirit Immortal," saying, "They can't be extracting the demonic energy from those kids, can they?"
"Yes," both "Spirit Immortal" and "Bai Yu" replied in unison.
This revelation made "Wang Niu's" heart sink. He immediately summoned his strength to confront those who were harming the children.
The assailants paid little attention to "Wang Niu" and his companions. Suddenly, they charged at them. In an instant, two forces collided with "Wang Niu." He sighed deeply and retaliated against them.
These were merely minions, and soon enough, "Wang Niu" and his friends subdued them easily.
"What should we do about these people?" "Wang Niu" asked "Bai Yu."
"Bai Yu" narrowed his eyes and quickly resolved the situation. After a moment, "Wang Niu" seemed to notice something and said to "Bai Yu," "Look."
A massive transparent bottle filled with black mist stood before them, and Bai Yu and Spirit Immortal suddenly realized what it contained. They turned to Wang Niu and said, "This is the demonic energy from those children. Quickly, break this bottle and release the energy!"
Upon hearing this, Wang Niu nodded at Bai Yu and Spirit Immortal, immediately picking up a stone from the ground and smashing it against the transparent bottle. This left Wang Niu puzzled for a moment.
Suddenly, Wang Niu found it strange that although the bottle had been broken, it still appeared intact.
"What’s going on?" Wang Niu asked Bai Yu and Spirit Immortal.
At that moment, Spirit Immortal noticed something as well and said to Wang Niu, "Could there be a problem?"
Bai Yu's expression grew serious at this. He stepped in front of Wang Niu, causing Wang Niu's heart to skip a beat as if he had realized something. Then, Bai Yu approached the transparent bottle and extended his hand.
In an instant, Bai Yu understood. "There’s a barrier of gas blocking the bottle."
Hearing Bai Yu's words, Spirit Immortal moved closer to him and reached out as well. His expression turned grave; this gas was not easy to deal with—it required human blood to dispel.

Bai Yu's expression grew even more complicated, while Spirit Immortal looked at Wang Niu with a mix of emotions.

Wang Niu nodded at Spirit Immortal. Just then, Spirit Immortal's face suddenly paled as if he were about to collapse.
Wang Niu's heart sank. "What’s happening?"
"Bai Yu said, 'It seems he has been engulfed by a large amount of negative spiritual energy to end up like this.'
'What should we do?'
Wang Niu was momentarily stunned.
Bai Yu turned to Wang Niu and said, 'We need human blood.'
This immediately jolted Wang Niu awake, and she quickly cut her hand to offer her blood to Spirit Immortal.
This made Bai Yu's heart ache.
'You shouldn't have done that. If you do, you'll lose your vital essence as well,' Bai Yu said to Wang Niu.
'It's fine,' Wang Niu replied, her face turning pale.
At that moment, Spirit Immortal opened his eyes, and Wang Niu turned her hand towards the objects.
Before long, those gases absorbed the blood from Wang Niu's hand and burst apart, releasing the trapped demonic energy that surged into the bodies of the children.
'Look, it seems these children are waking up!'
Wang Niu exclaimed joyfully, and Bai Yu's gaze followed suit, noticing the children's faces gradually regaining color.
At the same time, Spirit Immortal also regained his composure; his expression became complex.
Bai Yu happened to walk beside Spirit Immortal and reached out her hand. Spirit Immortal stood up.

"This is for you."
When Bai Yu saw the object in Spirit Immortal's hand, he was instantly astonished, staring at Spirit Immortal in disbelief.
"What is this?" Wang Niu asked in confusion.
"This is something for your protection; it can alter your blood. It would be bad if Hundred King found out," Spirit Immortal explained as he handed the object to Wang Niu and urged her to consume it.
Wang Niu was surprised upon hearing this. She looked at Wang Niu and nodded before taking it in.
Before long, a warm sensation surged within her body, leaving Wang Niu momentarily dazed.
Suddenly, a strange sound came from outside the cave, startling all the children.
"Spirit Immortal, it's Hundred King!" As soon as these words were spoken, everyone present froze in shock.
"What do we do?" Bai Yu's tone grew urgent.
Wang Niu suddenly thought of something and said to Bai Yu, "Don't panic."
As soon as Wang Niu finished speaking, a strange sensation appeared in his hand, and a black hole emerged before them.
This made the children present feel tense.
Wang Niu looked at them and comforted, "Everyone, don't worry. This is a space I created for you. Quickly, step into this space."
Upon hearing this, everyone immediately entered the space. Once inside, Hundred King appeared, fortunately unaware of what had just transpired.
"Oh no, we need to go back right away," Bai Yu suddenly exclaimed, realizing something important.
Wang Niu understood Bai Yu's words and activated the spatial transfer. In an instant, they returned to the room. However, when they emerged, the children did not follow them out. This left Bai Yu stunned, unable to comprehend what was happening. He turned to Wang Niu and said, "Where are they? Did they disappear?"

Upon hearing this, Bai Yu felt relieved. Just then, footsteps were heard outside the door, and the two exchanged glances.
Sure enough, the person who entered was none other than Hundred King.

Suddenly, Wang Niu felt particularly unsettled.

Upon hearing this, Hundred King's eyes lit up. "You were talking about the Magic Stone?"
Wang Niu nodded at Hundred King and said, "Yes, and we've already formulated a plan."

Bai Yu noticed Wang Niu's predicament and stepped in to help him out.
This made Wang Niu even more anxious. Could it be that Bai Yu really had a plan?
If he revealed this plan to the Hundred King, would the Hundred King simply decide to kill them?
After listening to Bai Yu's plan, the Hundred King nodded and said to Bai Yu, "Yes, this plan you mentioned is acceptable. We'll do as you suggested. Tomorrow, we will set off for Toothless River."
With that, Bai Wang left, leaving Wang Niu feeling curious.
