Bai Yu sensed a strange aura and immediately pulled Wang Niu behind her. This aura seemed to belong to the Second Demon Consort.
Wang Niu quickly dodged, but the wind surged toward them as if possessed by some dark force.
Bai Yu frowned. "Second Demon Consort."
As soon as the words left her mouth, they saw the Second Demon Consort appear before them.
"Heh heh, you certainly have some guts," the Second Demon Consort said with a smirk.

Taking a deep breath, Wang Niu felt a chill run down his spine as the Second Demon Consort's gaze fell upon him.
To his surprise, the Second Demon Consort spoke, "Bai Yu, you really are bold to shelter someone from outside the demon realm."
Bai Yu's face turned pale. She looked at the Second Demon Consort and asked, "What do you want?"
Since the Second Demon Consort already knew, there was no point in continuing to hide.
"Heh heh, what I want is for you both to die."
With that, two demonic whips suddenly appeared in the Second Demon Consort's hands.
In an instant, the whips lunged toward them. Bai Yu was startled and summoned all her strength to fend off one of the whips, but unexpectedly, the other whip shot straight for Wang Niu.
"Watch out!" Bai Yu shouted at Wang Niu.
Before Wang Niu could hear her warning, he was struck by the whip in the Second Demon Consort's hand. A long mark appeared across his face.
Pain surged through him, causing Wang Niu to furrow his brow. The agony spread across his entire face, and Bai Yu's heart sank with worry. She wanted to rush over to protect Wang Niu, but she was trapped by her own whip and couldn't break free, which made her anxious.
"I'm fine; you don't need to worry about me," Wang Niu said as he caught sight of Bai Yu's concern.
"Heh heh, you two are quite affectionate," the Second Demon Consort remarked at Wang Niu.
Wang Niu remained silent and continued to deal with the whip. Just then, the Second Demon Consort secretly unleashed a dark wind aimed at Bai Yu. Wang Niu noticed this just in time; alarmed, he dashed to Bai Yu's side but overlooked the sneak attack from the whip. In an instant, it pierced through Wang Niu's body.
Wang Niu's face suddenly turned pale, and Bai Yu felt a deep knot form in her heart. "Wang Niu."
Wang Niu's complexion immediately became ashen, causing Bai Yu's expression to tighten with concern.
"Are you okay?"
As she spoke, Bai Yu also channeled energy into Wang Niu. Gradually, with the influx of energy, Wang Niu's color began to improve.
"I'm fine."
The Second Demon Consort watched this scene with a grim expression. "Hmph, fine now, but you'll see what happens soon."
The Second Demon Consort's words sent a chill down Bai Yu's spine, making her sense something was off. She subtly nudged Wang Niu, who understood her meaning and immediately summoned his power. In an instant, their surroundings were enveloped in White Mist.
It seemed the Second Demon Consort had noticed something amiss and was about to confront them when a massive wave of White Mist surged forth.
This momentarily stunned the Second Demon Consort, and by the time she regained her composure, Wang Niu and Bai Yu had vanished.
"Will the Second Demon Consort come after us?" Wang Niu asked Bai Yu.
Now they had hidden themselves in a safe place.
Bai Yu glanced around. "I don't know yet, but our situation might be even more dangerous now."
"What do you mean?"
Wang Niu suddenly recalled the Second Demon Consort's earlier words. Could it be that she intended to target them?
Bai Yu's expression grew serious. "Do you remember what the Second Demon Consort said before?"
Wang Niu nodded at Bai Yu and said, "I understand. What's wrong?"
"I'm afraid the Second Demon Consort is planning to deal with us," Bai Yu suddenly stopped speaking. Wang Niu, of course, understood what she meant. He continued, "You mean the Second Demon Consort is going to tell the Demon King that I'm not from this world?"
Upon hearing this, Bai Yu's eyes became even sharper. "Yes."
Wang Niu felt something was off. "What should we do? If that's the case, then I've put you in danger."
Bai Yu frowned; in fact, that wasn't what worried her the most.
"This isn't the most important thing," Bai Yu said to Wang Niu.
Wang Niu's heart sank as he seemed to think of something unpleasant.
"I'm afraid they might relocate your friends."
Wang Niu's heart tightened instantly. If that were the case, he would have to be even more cautious.
Bai Yu took a deep breath and said to Wang Niu, "Let's not dwell on that for now. What we need to do first is change our appearance."
Wang Niu was taken aback as Bai Yu revealed a mysterious expression. "You need to follow me to a place."
Wang Niu nodded and replied, "Let's go."
They walked cautiously nearby because Bai Yu sensed an unsettling atmosphere.

Bai Yu's expression grew more serious as she looked at Wang Niu and said, "We might be wanted by the people from the Demon Realm."
Upon hearing this, Wang Niu froze in shock. Wanted? How did Bai Yu know?
At that moment, Bai Yu's gaze shifted to the sky, which made Wang Niu's expression turn grave as well, for he too saw what Bai Yu had noticed.
Monsters were everywhere in the sky.
"Are these the ones coming to hunt us down?" Wang Niu asked, puzzled.
Bai Yu nodded at him. "These are the ones sent by the Demon King."
Wang Niu was stunned. "You mean, the Second Demon Consort has already informed the Demon King about this?"
"Yes, otherwise these monsters wouldn't be appearing in the sky."
"What should we do now? Our situation is very dangerous," worry was etched across Wang Niu's face.
"Yes, so we need to be even more careful. Right now, we can't go outside; we can only stay hidden inside."
Wang Niu understood this logic perfectly.
They moved through inconspicuous places, carefully avoiding the monsters above them.
After walking for a while, they came across an alley.
Bai Yu glanced around and, seeing nothing unusual, stepped inside.
"Stay close behind me."
Wang Niu nodded and followed Bai Yu closely. As they walked, Wang Niu seemed to catch a strange scent in the air.
This made Wang Niu furrow his brow and he turned to Bai Yu, saying, "This place is really strange."
Ruoxi took a deep breath. "Yes, it is indeed a bit odd here, but don't worry; it's just the smell of medicine."
The smell of medicine.
Wang Niu couldn't help but feel curious. "What kind of medicine?"
At that moment, they arrived at a peculiar location that looked quite dilapidated.
"Where is this?" Wang Niu asked, looking at Bai Yu.
Bai Yu glanced around and extended his hand to clear away the spiderwebs in front of them. "This is where I brought you."
"This place..."
Wang Niu felt a bit surprised. Bai Yu nodded at him, and just then, the large door in front of them slowly creaked open with a startling sound, causing Wang Niu's heart to skip a beat.
Why did he feel that this place was so eerie?
"Where is this?" Wang Niu asked again, swallowing hard as he looked ahead at Bai Yu.
"This is the place where one of my friends lives. We need to disguise ourselves here."
Once inside, Wang Niu suddenly spotted something very strange. The sight startled him.
"What is that?"
Bai Yu looked back and saw a strange creature appearing before them.
"This is the Listening Beast, here to deal with our enemies," Bai Yu explained to Wang Niu.
"Listening Beast, good boy, this is a good friend brought by your sister," Bai Yu said, squatting down to gently stroke the Listening Beast.
Upon hearing Bai Yu's words, the Listening Beast made a soft sound, seeming to respond positively to her. Its gaze toward Wang Niu softened as well.
This surprised Wang Niu; he hadn't expected this little creature to be so obedient.
"You've arrived," a voice suddenly came from the small house in front of them.
Wang Niu turned toward the house and said to Bai Yu, "Should we go over?"
Bai Yu set the Listening Beast down and led Wang Niu toward the house.
As they stepped inside, the room suddenly lit up.
Wang Niu's heart raced as he saw a very peculiar figure appear before them.
The figure looked like a sculpture.
"What is this?" Wang Niu asked, gazing at the figure in confusion.
Bai Yu took a deep breath and said to Wang Niu, "This is what I mentioned before."
"You are the one who can change our appearances," Wang Niu said to the statue, feeling somewhat strange but still addressing it.
The statue did not respond, which made Wang Niu feel awkward.
"White Medicine," Bai Yu stepped forward and patted the statue's head.
Instantly, the statue emitted a sound that seemed to express pain.
"Bai Yu, how could you be so rude?" Then, the statue transformed into a man.
Bai Yu laughed and said, "What do you think? I'm just making you reveal yourself."
White Medicine stared at Bai Yu, while Wang Niu, feeling a bit awkward, cleared his throat a few times to draw attention to himself.
This made both Bai Yu and White Medicine turn their gazes toward him.
"What’s wrong with you two?" Wang Niu asked awkwardly.
"Alright, White Medicine, you can disguise us now," Bai Yu said to White Medicine.
White Medicine nodded at Bai Yu, but suddenly, his expression changed drastically as he focused on Wang Niu. He pointed at Wang Niu and exclaimed, "You... aren’t you the one wanted by the Demon King?"
Wang Niu's face immediately fell at this revelation. Bai Yu shot an angry glare at White Medicine. "Enough! Just help us with the disguise and don’t say anything else."
After hearing Bai Yu's words, White Medicine grabbed her and walked outside, casting a deliberate glance back at Wang Niu.
"You’ve lost your mind," White Medicine said to Bai Yu.
Bai Yu understood the meaning behind White Medicine's words.
"I’m not crazy; I know exactly what I’m doing."
White Medicine sighed. "Is it really worth it?"
Bai Yu's gaze suddenly became resolute as she looked back inside. "It is worth it. In this life, I must repay him; it’s what I owe him."
"Fine, just don’t regret it later."
With that, the two of them walked back inside together.
Wang Niu looked at the two of them with confusion. White Medicine pointed to the chair in the middle, indicating for Wang Niu to sit down.
Wang Niu sat down and asked White Medicine, "Is it starting now?"
"Yes, it will hurt a bit, so bear with it," White Medicine replied.
With that, a piece of human skin appeared in White Medicine's hand, causing Wang Niu's heart to skip a beat. It was surprisingly lifelike.
Then, White Medicine placed the piece of skin aside and produced a knife, leaving Wang Niu momentarily stunned.
His scalp tingled with anxiety. Surely, White Medicine wasn't going to cut his face with that knife.
In the next moment, Wang Niu felt something slice across his face, freezing him in disbelief.
He looked at White Medicine in shock, who smiled back at him while working faster with the knife.
Bai Yu felt a pang of sympathy and said to White Medicine, "You need to be gentle."
White Medicine took a deep breath, looking a bit aggrieved. "You know this is normal. If you want to change your appearance, the skin has to fit perfectly."
After saying that, White Medicine inhaled deeply as if preparing for something significant.
Bai Yu remained silent, watching White Medicine intently. After a while, Wang Niu's face began to change.
Bai Yu looked at Wang Niu with satisfaction. "Not bad; this will do."
Wang Niu felt confused and asked Bai Yu, "Has my face really changed?"
Bai Yu nodded and picked up a nearby mirror. "Take a look."
Wang Niu focused on the mirror and saw a very strange face staring back at him. Instantly, he felt relieved; he had indeed transformed into someone else.
Taking a deep breath, it was then that Wang Niu seemed to realize something. He touched his own face and was stunned. He never expected White Medicine's skills to be so incredible; the face looked just like real skin.
"You are truly amazing," he said in awe.
White Medicine looked at him calmly without saying a word, which made Wang Niu feel awkward inside.
Soon after, White Medicine began to work on Bai Yu, which made Wang Niu feel a bit excited, wondering what Bai Yu would look like afterward.
White Medicine quickly moved around Bai Yu's face, leaving Wang Niu feeling somewhat frustrated. Why wasn't White Medicine doing more in front of Bai Yu?
Before long, White Medicine stopped, leaving Wang Niu curious. Was it already done?
He wanted to see what Bai Yu looked like, but White Medicine kept blocking his view, making Wang Niu anxious.
Just then, White Medicine stepped aside, and Bai Yu appeared before him. However, when he saw Bai Yu, he was instantly stunned.
This was not Bai Yu at all; it was simply A Yao!
"You... who are you?"
For a moment, Wang Niu's tone turned very surprised.
Bai Yu walked up to him and asked, "What's wrong?"
Wang Niu shook his head, feeling that something was off but unable to articulate it.
Bai Yu smiled at him and said, "Did you mistake me for someone else?"

Suddenly, Wang Niu remembered something and nodded at Bai Yu, saying, "Maybe."
"Alright, you two should hurry and leave here before the Demon King comes looking for trouble," White Medicine could no longer stand the staring between the two.
Wang Niu nodded at White Medicine. "Let's go, Bai Yu."
Bai Yu looked at White Medicine with gratitude. "Thank you," she said.
A flicker of complexity crossed White Medicine's eyes, but he said nothing, only nodding before urging them to leave quickly.
Wang Niu followed Bai Yu out of the place.
"Bai Yu, that White Medicine is so strange. Does he like you?"
As soon as those words were spoken, Bai Yu's expression changed instantly, leaving Wang Niu puzzled. He asked her what was wrong.
Bai Yu shook her head at Wang Niu, and he chose not to press further.
The atmosphere felt a bit heavy as they walked, which puzzled Wang Niu. He couldn't understand what had changed; just moments ago, everything had seemed fine between them.
"Bai Yu," Wang Niu stopped and looked at her.
At the same time, Bai Yu noticed him looking back. For some reason, her mood became particularly strange.
"Is something bothering you?" Wang Niu asked cautiously.
This made Bai Yu feel odd. She shook her head and replied, "No, you're just overthinking it."
Wang Niu looked at her in confusion, which made Bai Yu feel uncomfortable.
Suddenly, a loud noise reached their ears, causing Bai Yu to feel uneasy. Could it be those people?
She quickly pulled Wang Niu behind a large tree. Wang Niu was momentarily stunned and looked at Bai Yu, asking in confusion, "What's going on?"
Bai Yu told him, "Don't say anything for now; I heard someone coming."
Wang Niu's expression suddenly turned tense as he gazed into the distance and asked Bai Yu, "Is it those people?"
Following Wang Niu's gaze, Bai Yu looked over and saw a group of people approaching them. This made both Bai Yu and Wang Niu feel a surge of anxiety. With so many people, if they were discovered, it would surely be difficult for them to escape.
The group seemed to be searching for something, their eyes scanning the grass. This only heightened Wang Niu's nervousness. He whispered to Bai Yu, "Could it be that they know we're here?"
Bai Yu shook his head in response. "Not necessarily; they might be looking for something else."
"What could that be?"
At that moment, Bai Yu noticed something strange. It seemed these people were searching for something different, and their insignia did not resemble that of the Demon King’s followers.
Bai Yu shared this observation with Wang Niu, which left Wang Niu astonished. If they weren't affiliated with the Demon King, then who could they be?
After pondering for a moment, Bai Yu's expression shifted to one of realization. He turned to Wang Niu and said, "I think I know who they are; they seem to be from the White King."
"The White King? Are there others in the Demon Realm?" Wang Niu asked, puzzled.
This revelation left Wang Niu feeling confused as he said to Bai Yu, "Could it be that the White King is the Demon King's arch-nemesis?"
Bai Yu nodded, which filled Wang Niu with excitement. If that were the case, then they could simply seek refuge with the White King.
"Bai Yu, I have an idea," Wang Niu exclaimed.
In truth, Bai Yu already understood what Wang Niu was implying without him needing to say it out loud, but the idea had its complications.
"I know what you're thinking."
Wang Niu looked at Bai Yu in surprise, not expecting him to know.
"But isn't this..." In the next moment, Wang Niu heard Bai Yu directly deny his thoughts, which puzzled him.
"Why? Isn't the White King the arch-nemesis of the Demon King?"
Bai Yu nodded and said, "While that's true, the White King is particularly brutal; he kills when he gets angry."
With that explanation, Wang Niu understood. However, just then, a voice echoed through the air, filling Wang Niu with deep concern.
"Who is there?" A chilling voice rang out, causing both of them to be taken aback.
Bai Yu then saw Hundred King appear before them.
"This is bad."
Bai Yu had no choice but to follow Wang Niu as they stood before Hundred King, whose expression turned icy.
"Who are you?"
Hundred King's demeanor became cold and menacing.
This made Bai Yu's heart race as he replied to Hundred King, "We are citizens of the Demon Realm."
Wang Niu kept his head bowed low, drawing Hundred King's attention entirely to him. This made Wang Niu feel tense; could it be that Hundred King had discovered something?
"Come here." Hundred King's gaze remained fixed on Wang Niu.
