Bai Yu looked at me, shaking his head with a look of confusion. I sighed in response, and just then, Wang Niu heard a strange sound.
This immediately put him on high alert. He glanced ahead and saw waves of black mist surging through the doorway, extending all the way to the central throne. Wang Niu paused for a moment, his gaze also shifting forward.
"This is the arrival of the Demon King," Bai Yu's voice echoed in his ear.
Wang Niu's heart trembled at that moment as he saw something entirely black appear before him, and upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a figure resembling a bull-man.
"Is this the Demon King?" Wang Niu asked Bai Yu, who nodded in response. Shortly after, a voice rang out, "The banquet begins."
As soon as that voice fell, thunderous applause erupted in the hall. People simultaneously stood up, and from the entrance came enormous bats. These bats circled above everyone's heads, causing Wang Niu to feel anxious. He whispered to Bai Yu, "Could these bats pose any danger to us?"
Bai Yu shook his head and said, "No, don't worry."
Just after he finished speaking, the bats hovering above them suddenly transformed into enchanting women who began dancing in the center. This left Wang Niu astonished; the scale of their dance was quite provocative.
In an instant, Wang Niu's face turned red. This was too shocking!
He took a deep breath, but Bai Yu unexpectedly covered his eyes and said, "Don't look."
Wang Niu was taken aback and asked Bai Yu what was wrong.
Bai Yu shot him a glare and whispered, "You really have no idea how dangerous this is."
Wang Niu looked at Bai Yu in confusion; he had merely glanced at the dancers before him—how could that be considered reckless?
Bai Yu slowly released his grip on Wang Niu. "Don't look into those women's eyes. Then take a look at what those seated people are like."
Wang Niu nodded in bewilderment and shifted his gaze forward. He noticed that the expressions of those seated had become dazed. This made Wang Niu's heart skip a beat. Then he heard strange sounds resembling drinking water. Wang Niu felt a jolt and looked back toward where he had just been staring. He was immediately shocked by the scene before him: those people were being drained of their energy.
"What is happening?" Wang Niu asked Bai Yu.
Bai Yu glanced toward the Demon King and the Second Demon Consort and replied, "The Demon King and the Second Demon Consort are absorbing the essence from those people."
Wang Niu was taken aback, unable to believe what he heard as he looked at Bai Yu and asked, "Are we going to be discovered?"
Bai Yu shook his head, pointing to his own head and said to Wang Niu, "Look at what's above me."
Wang Niu raised his gaze and saw a swirling mass of black mist in front of Bai Yu. This left him stunned. What was happening? Had the essence within Bai Yu been drained by the Demon King and the Second Demon Consort?
"Bai Yu, what is this?" Wang Niu's voice was filled with urgency.
Bai Yu shook his head and replied, "Don't worry, I'm fine. This is just an illusion."
Upon hearing this, Wang Niu let out a deep sigh of relief. After a while, the women transformed from bats slowly began to disappear, only for new heartbeats to emerge. This made Wang Niu's heart skip a beat. Was there more danger to come?
Wang Niu stared blankly for a moment before asking Bai Yu, "What are you doing?"
Bai Yu quietly pulled out a knife and cut into his own hand, which made Wang Niu feel very strange.
Wang Niu's heart sank as he exclaimed, "Bai Yu, have you lost your mind?"
Bai Yu did not respond to Wang Niu's words; instead, his hand was filled with something. After a short while, Bai Yu stopped. Taking a deep breath, he turned to Wang Niu and said, "Just wait a moment; you'll understand soon."
Wang Niu was momentarily stunned. Suddenly, the Second Demon Consort stood up. Just as Wang Niu was trying to figure out what she was about to do, the Little Demon King appeared.
The Little Demon King seemed to be holding a cup of wine in his hand, causing Wang Niu's heart to race. Could it be that the Little Demon King had some new scheme? At the same time, the Second Demon Consort also noticed the Little Demon King.
A glint of malice flashed in the Second Demon Consort's eyes.
The Little Demon King's face was filled with smiles as he approached the Second Demon Consort. "Mother, this is specially brewed for you by your son."

The Second Demon Consort hesitated, prompting the Little Demon King to continue, "Are you rejecting what your son has brought you, Mother?"
After saying this, the Little Demon King suddenly froze. A hint of disgust appeared on the Second Demon Consort's face. Although the Little Demon King's movements were not very pronounced, they caught the attention of the Great Demon King, who turned his gaze toward them. His eyes landed on the Second Demon Consort and the Little Demon King, revealing a flicker of displeasure.
The Second Demon Consort's expression changed dramatically. She quickly took the wine from the Little Demon King's hand and drank it. In an instant, Wang Niu noticed wisps of White Mist rising from the Second Demon Consort's head.
This made Wang Niu's heart skip a beat. What was happening to the Second Demon Consort?
Soon after, the Second Demon Consort walked over to the Great Demon King's side. The Little Demon King looked proudly at her retreating figure before moving closer to them. At that moment, Wang Niu felt an inexplicable sense of unease wash over him.
Just as he was about to shake off this strange feeling, the Little Demon King's voice suddenly echoed in his mind, "Don't worry; that aura is something I gave you."
Wang Niu felt a wave of anxiety. What if this aura was harmful to him? Just then, Bai Yu's gaze fell upon him.
"There's no need to worry."
He suddenly heard Bai Yu's words.
In an instant, Wang Niu felt relieved. However, at that moment, he noticed that the Second Demon Consort's complexion was growing worse.
Wang Niu quickly observed that more and more White Mist surrounded the Second Demon Consort.
"What is happening?" Wang Niu whispered to the Little Demon King and Bai Yu.
He saw a strange smile appear on the Little Demon King's face, which made Wang Niu feel uneasy.
The Little Demon King was indeed cunning. Although he didn't know what had been added to that cup of wine, it was clear that it was meant for the Second Demon Consort.
"Do you know what the Second Demon Consort fears most?" The Little Demon King squinted his eyes.
This made Wang Niu suddenly realize something and he asked the Little Demon King, "Are you saying you put something in there?"
The Little Demon King nodded at Wang Niu, and soon after, Wang Niu seemed to understand something.
Seeing this, the Little Demon King did not interrupt and simply stated, "This is Yellowstone Powder."
Wang Niu was taken aback, looking at Bai Yu in confusion. Bai Yu then explained to Wang Niu, "This Yellowstone Powder is a highly toxic powder that is very useful to the Second Demon Consort. Do you know what is in this Yellowstone Powder?"
Wang Niu shook his head, just as Bai Yu was about to elaborate when a strange aura suddenly surged toward them.
"Not good, be careful!" At that moment, the Little Demon King reacted first. In an instant, he used his magic to push a nearby table in front of them, and the two forces collided violently.
Wang Niu took a deep breath, and the tremendous commotion attracted many onlookers.
"What happened?" Everyone was puzzled about what was going on.
The Little Demon King's expression turned serious as he glared at the woman across from him.
Following the Little Demon King's gaze, Wang Niu looked over and saw that it was indeed the same woman from earlier.
His heart sank; he never expected that this woman would attack them during the banquet.
"This woman..."
Bai Yu glanced at Wang Niu calmly, seemingly accustomed to such occurrences.
"What are you doing?" The Dark Lord suddenly became furious as he looked at them.
"Father, it's these Black Wind Princesses who are trying to kill me!" The Little Demon King immediately stepped forward, looking pitifully at the Dark Lord.
Upon hearing this, the Dark Lord's expression changed dramatically as he angrily addressed the Black Wind Princesses before him, "You have some nerve!"
The Black Wind Princess suddenly felt a jolt as a powerful gust of wind surged toward her.
Before she could react, the force struck her.
In an instant, the Black Wind Princess was thrown to the ground, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth, and she spat out a large pool of Black Blood.
This left the Second Demon Consort, sitting beside the Dark Lord, utterly stunned.
"Lord, please don’t go any further," the Second Demon Consort pleaded for the Black Wind Princess, kneeling before the Dark Lord. At that moment, the punishment for the Black Wind Princess became even more severe.
"What is happening?" The Second Demon Consort was at a loss for words.
Everyone present grew tense as they realized that the Dark Lord was genuinely angry.
"What’s going on?"
Suddenly, the Dark Lord transformed into a massive horse, his mouth widening ominously. Wang Niu felt a wave of unease wash over him.
At that moment, the Second Demon Consort's expression turned even more fearful as she stepped in front of the Black Wind Princess.
"No, you can't do this!"
Just as the Second Demon Consort finished speaking, a force lifted the Black Wind Princess from behind her. In an instant, this power brought the Black Wind Princess right into the Dark Lord's mouth.
With a swallow, the Black Wind Princess vanished, leaving Wang Niu completely dumbfounded.
At that moment, the Second Demon Consort sensed a change; her true form emerged as she transformed into a gigantic Water Snake.
Wang Niu was taken aback as he watched the Second Demon Consort's body rapidly expand. In no time at all, she grew larger and larger until her size burst through the confines of the entire demon palace. Those present were filled with fear and fled in panic.
Seeing this unfold, the Dark Lord reached out his hand. Instantly, his hand grew enormous and captured the Second Demon Consort.
Now, only they remained in the demon palace.
"What’s wrong with you?" Bai Yu chuckled at Wang Niu's shocked expression. Wang Niu shook his head at Bai Yu and replied, "It's nothing; I'm just surprised that this Second Demon Consort is actually a snake."
Bai Yu shook his head helplessly and said to Wang Niu, "What does it matter? However, in the next few days, the Second Demon Consort won't have a good ending."
Upon hearing this, Wang Niu's curiosity was piqued. "How do you know?"
Before Bai Yu could respond, the Little Demon King, standing nearby, interjected, "What do you think? The Second Demon Consort has ruined this Feast of Demons. Do you think my father will forgive her?"
Wang Niu pondered for a moment and agreed that the child had a point. They decided to leave the place together.
After a while, Wang Niu seemed to remember something and said to the Little Demon King, "Can you take me to a place?"
The Little Demon King was taken aback and looked at Wang Niu. "What place are you talking about?"
Just as Wang Niu was about to speak, he suddenly caught a hint in Bai Yu's eyes and closed his mouth. The Little Demon King's expression grew even more peculiar. "You really are strange."
Wang Niu awkwardly chuckled a few times before the Little Demon King walked away.
"How could you say that to the Little Demon King? Are you foolish?" Wang Niu was momentarily stunned.
"What's wrong?"
Bai Yu sighed and gazed toward the place where Ruoxi and the others were imprisoned. Wang Niu followed his gaze; that location was where the people he needed to rescue were held.
Wang Niu took a deep breath. "You don't know how much I actually miss them."
Bai Yu's expression became complicated. After a moment, he said to Wang Niu, "Actually, I can take you to see them."
Wang Niu was instantly stunned, unable to believe what he heard. He looked at Bai Yu in disbelief. "Are you serious?"
Bai Yu nodded at Wang Niu, filling him with immense gratitude toward Bai Yu.
Then, Bai Yu led Wang Niu back to the previous location.
However, when they arrived, they discovered that the place was surrounded by a barrier. "What is going on here?"
Wang Niu looked at Bai Yu with confusion.
Bai Yu took a deep breath and said, "This might be the work of the Demon King. Right now, it's not easy to get in. If you want to go inside, I can let you in."
"Is that possible?" Wang Niu's eyes were filled with anticipation.
"Yes," as soon as Ruoxi finished speaking, she exerted her strength, and in an instant, a gap opened up right in front of Wang Niu. He stared at the widening opening with growing curiosity.
"Quick, go in," Bai Yu urged Wang Niu.
This left Wang Niu momentarily stunned, but he quickly replied to Bai Yu, "Alright, I'm going in now."
With that, Wang Niu stepped inside. At that moment, a powerful suction pulled him deep within. After a while, a wisp of White Mist appeared before him. In the haze, he seemed to see Feng Ju and Xiaomei. Suddenly, Wang Niu's heart raced as he rushed toward them. However, just as he was about to reach Feng Ju, he noticed something was off; there seemed to be an obstacle in front of Feng Ju.
He took a deep breath and thought about touching the barrier when it unexpectedly sprang back with tremendous force, like a ferocious beast charging at Wang Niu.
Wang Niu was knocked down by this overwhelming force, and his face turned pale in an instant.
He took a deep breath and got back up. At that moment, he sensed a power slowly approaching him. Suddenly, several figures in black appeared before him.
Wang Niu inhaled deeply and prepared to confront these attackers, who came at him fiercely.
In no time at all, Wang Niu felt a strange sensation; it was as if the strength within him was gradually fading away.
Panic filled his expression—what was happening?
Just then, Wang Niu suddenly felt a chilling presence creeping toward him. As he braced himself for the enemy's attack, unexpectedly, Bai Yu appeared right in front of him.
This instantly calmed Wang Niu's heart.
"Are you okay?" Bai Yu noticed Wang Niu's pale face.
"I'm fine, don't worry."
Just as they were speaking, Bai Yu seemed to sense something. He was about to channel energy to Wang Niu when suddenly, a figure in black lunged at them, catching both Bai Yu and Wang Niu off guard. By the time they reacted, they had already been subdued by the assailant.
"Who are you?" the figures in black demanded, addressing Wang Niu and Bai Yu.
"We were sent here on a mission."
Upon hearing this, the black-clad figures froze. "Where is the order?"
This left Wang Niu stunned; he had no idea they were sent on a mission.
Bai Yu then pulled out a token from within his robes. The moment the black figures saw the token, they were taken aback, staring at Bai Yu in disbelief.
"Don't just stand there, go!"
The black-clad figures immediately retreated.
Wang Niu was curious about what had just happened. He took the item from Bai Yu's hand and asked, "What is this?"
"This belongs to the Second Demon Consort."
Wang Niu was taken aback; if this was indeed the Second Demon Consort's item, why was it with Bai Yu?
"Alright, didn't you say you wanted to see your friend? Hurry up, we don't have much time."
Wang Niu stood there in shock, unable to believe what he had just heard.
He then walked over to Feng Ju, only to find Feng Ju and Xiaomei lying on the ground, both unconscious.
This sight left Wang Niu stunned. What had happened to them?
"Bai Yu, are they okay?"
"Bai Yu" said to him, "It's fine, they are just temporarily sealed away."
This deeply worried "Wang Niu," and " Wang Niu " felt a jolt, asking "What does that mean?"
At that moment, the ground suddenly began to shake, leaving "Wang Niu" and "Bai Yu" stunned.

"Bai Yu" frowned, thought for a moment, and said to "Wang Niu," "Wait, it seems like time is up."
As soon as he finished speaking, massive stones began to crash down towards them, causing the expressions of "Bai Yu" and "Wang Niu" to change dramatically.
"We need to get out of here quickly!"
"Bai Yu" grabbed "Wang Niu's" hand, but at that moment, "Wang Niu" couldn't help but think of "Feng Ju" and the others.

After they exited, everything returned to normal in front of them.

After hearing this, Wang Niu finally understood and said to Bai Yu, "I get what you mean now."
Bai Yu nodded at Wang Niu. "So, you need to properly conceal this aura; otherwise, it will be troublesome next time."
Wang Niu thought for a moment and replied affirmatively. It was at that moment that Wang Niu seemed to sense something and asked Bai Yu, "What should we do then?"
"Follow me; I'll take you to a place."
Soon after, Wang Niu was led by Ruoxi to a location that left him momentarily stunned. In front of them was a massive Black Pool.
