Bai Yu had been observing Wang Niu intently, and suddenly, she was taken aback. She looked at him with confusion and asked, "What’s wrong with you?"
Wang Niu quickly snapped back to reality and shook his head at Bai Yu, saying, "It's nothing."
Bai Yu opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but she stopped herself. She looked at Wang Niu and said, "Forget it, let's not talk about this for now. Just don’t trust the Second Demon Consort."

Later that night, Wang Niu suddenly sensed something was off. It felt like someone had been pacing outside his door, which sent a jolt of alarm through him. He immediately stepped outside, but found nothing there.
"What’s going on? I just saw someone," Wang Niu muttered to himself.
At that moment, a shadow flashed past him.
Wang Niu's heart skipped a beat. When he turned around, he found a stranger standing before him.
His heart raced as he stammered, "Y-You... who are you?"
The man looked at Wang Niu with a mysterious smile and said, "Don’t tell me you don’t know who I am?"
Wang Niu was momentarily stunned, still unsure. He stared at the man and shook his head.
The man stroked his chin thoughtfully and said to Wang Niu, "Do you really not know? I heard Moshan say you wanted to see me."
"Moshan?" Wang Niu was taken aback.
The man nodded and pulled out a leaf of vegetables from his pocket. "Do you remember this?"
Wang Niu's eyes widened as he recognized it; it was something he had given to Little Demon. How could it end up in this man's hands?
"You... how do you have this?"
The man smiled and said, "This is still for Little Demon, so you are one of us too."
As soon as he said this, Wang Niu became agitated and replied to the man in front of her, "So that means you are too."
Just as the man was about to respond, he seemed to notice something and immediately closed his mouth. Cautiously looking around, he said, "Yes, I am too. However, this is not the place to talk. Follow me."
Wang Niu excitedly followed the man as they walked into the mountains. Looking around, she noticed the surrounding area was filled with dark energy, which surprised her. She asked the man, "Where is this place?"
The man glanced around and then extended his hand, manipulating the air. In an instant, wisps of white mist appeared in the surrounding air, quickly enveloping them.
Soon after, Wang Niu felt a rushing wind pass by her ears. Then she sensed that the environment around them seemed to change. The air gradually began to disperse, and as Wang Niu looked around, she suddenly thought of something. "Is this where you live?"
The man nodded and invited Wang Niu inside. Curiously, he asked her, "Why did you come to this place?"
Wang Niu sighed and replied, "I came to rescue my friends."
Upon hearing this, the man's expression shifted as he realized something. "Do you mean your friends have been brought here?"
Wang Niu nodded in response. The man's demeanor grew serious. "This might be a bit difficult. You need to understand that your friends are all in the Demon Palace."
Mentioning this made Wang Niu feel a sense of disappointment. She asked the man, "Do you have any solutions?"
The man nodded at Wang Niu. "However, we cannot rush this matter. Take your time and first gain Little Demon King's trust."
The man's words left Wang Niu momentarily stunned—gain Little Demon King's trust.
Suddenly, Wang Niu recalled what Second Demon Consort had said to her earlier and asked the man, "Do you know Second Demon Consort?"
The man was taken aback by Wang Niu's question, looking at him strangely as he said, "Why do you ask about the Second Demon Consort? Have you had contact with her?"

Wang Niu froze for a moment. "What did you say?"

Suddenly, the man sighed.
This made Wang Niu feel uneasy; if he hadn't heard the man's words, he might have acted against Little Demon as well. At that time, he would regret it just like the man did.

Wang Niu shook his head and replied, "I don't know."
The man's expression suddenly darkened. "You don't know? The Second Demon Consort is actually untrustworthy. She dealt harshly with me, erased my memories, and left me here."
As he spoke, tears appeared on the man's face.
This complicated Wang Niu's feelings. If he helped the Second Demon Consort in the same way, would he end up like this man?
After a moment, the man's expression seemed to improve significantly. He looked at Wang Niu again. "Will you continue to help the Second Demon Consort now?"
Wang Niu shook his head. The man's words had already given him a bad impression of the Second Demon Consort; he hadn't expected her to be such a person.
"Do you know why I came to find you?" The man's demeanor returned to its original state.
Wang Niu shook his head again. The man continued, "I came to give you my energy."
The man's words left Wang Niu puzzled. He looked at the man with confusion and asked, "Why are you doing this?"
The man replied, "After the Second Demon Consort drained my energy, I have been secretly trying to regain it. However, I know that it's not easy to recover what I've lost. Wang Niu was taken aback. Before he could respond, the man took his hand. Suddenly, Wang Niu felt a gentle flow of energy surge into his heart, leaving him in shock.
"Are you really going to give me your energy?" Wang Niu exclaimed in surprise, thinking the man was just speaking empty words.
The man nodded at Wang Niu and then said, "But if you accept it like this, you'll die immediately."
The man did not speak further; instead, he continued to transfer his energy to Wang Niu.
After a while, Wang Niu felt his own energy reach a new level. At that moment, the man's face turned pale.
In an instant, the man collapsed to the ground, and blood began to seep from the corner of his mouth. This sight left Wang Niu stunned.
He hurriedly helped the man up. The man stood but was surrounded by a faint black mist that puzzled Wang Niu and filled him with an uneasy feeling.
"What... what happened to you?" Wang Niu's voice trembled with concern.
The black mist around the man grew thicker, and Wang Niu's anxiety deepened. Suddenly, the man vanished before his eyes, and everything around him began to change. In an instant, Wang Niu was left speechless.
At that moment, Bai Yu appeared out of nowhere and stood beside Wang Niu.
"What are you doing here?" Wang Niu asked in astonishment.
Bai Yu glanced at Wang Niu with a slight smile. "What's wrong? Are you unhappy that I've come?"
Wang Niu immediately shook his head. How could he possibly refuse?
Bai Yu smiled lightly and glanced around him. "Someone was here just now."
Wang Niu nodded in agreement. "Yes, someone did come by."
Bai Yu seemed to have guessed something. He reached out and placed his hand on Wang Niu's head. "Hmm, there is indeed a tremendous energy in your mind."
Wang Niu felt something as a surge of energy flowed rapidly through his head. He was instantly astonished, staring at Bai Yu with shock. "You actually transmitted energy to me!"
Bai Yu nodded in affirmation.
Wang Niu was somewhat puzzled; he couldn't understand why Bai Yu would do such a thing.
After a moment, Bai Yu lowered his hand and said to him, "You are now strong enough to handle anyone; you don't need to worry anymore."
Wang Niu looked at Bai Yu in surprise and asked, "Did you give me all your energy?"
Bai Yu shook his head. "No, not at all. I merely returned your original energy to you. Tomorrow, you need to be cautious; it seems the Second Demon Consort will meet you again."
"What does that mean?" Wang Niu felt a wave of confusion wash over him.
Bai Yu's expression grew serious as he asked Wang Niu, "Do you know what day tomorrow is?"
Wang Niu shook his head, and Bai Yu continued, "Tomorrow is the most important day in the Demon Realm. The Demon King invites many people to the Demon Palace, and the Second Demon Consort might act unruly at the banquet."
Wang Niu was stunned for a moment and then said to Bai Yu, "Are you saying that the Second Demon Consort will target me?"
Bai Yu was momentarily stunned, then turned to Wang Niu and said, "It's possible. Because you didn't agree to her right away, the Second Demon Consort might take action against you. In her subconscious, you've already become an enemy."
Wang Niu was taken aback, looking at Bai Yu in disbelief. "What should I do then?"
Upon hearing his words, Bai Yu waved his hand dismissively. "I don't know. You'll have to figure it out yourself."

"Come here," the Second Demon Consort said with a smile that was not quite a smile as she looked at Wang Niu.
Wang Niu's heart skipped a beat. Just as he was about to look for Bai Yu, he realized that Bai Yu had mysteriously vanished.
His heart sank; could it be that Bai Yu had left while he wasn't paying attention?
Wang Niu was genuinely curious about Bai Yu.
At that moment, sensing something, Wang Niu addressed the Second Demon Consort. "Is there something you need?"
The Second Demon Consort paused for a moment, her expression turning cold as she replied, "What are you talking about? Do you remember what you promised me before?"
As expected, the Second Demon Consort was still holding him accountable for their previous agreement. Realizing he couldn't avoid this confrontation, Wang Niu replied firmly, "I remember, but I won't help you."
The Second Demon Consort was momentarily stunned, a murderous intent rising on her face.

Wang Niu nodded at the Second Demon Consort, affirming, "I won't help you. I already know your true nature."
Upon hearing Wang Niu's words, the Second Demon Consort froze for a moment, her expression turning strange. She let out a cold snort at Wang Niu, and then he felt a wave of killing intent directed at him. Instinctively, Wang Niu reacted quickly, unleashing his ultimate moves. It was at that moment that he sensed something was off behind him. Despite this, he continued to move forward. After a while, he felt a burning sensation at his back, and his expression changed drastically as if he had realized something.
Suddenly, a woman's laughter echoed through the air, and Wang Niu recognized it as belonging to the princess.
"You... why are you doing this?" Before Wang Niu could finish his sentence, someone lifted him up effortlessly, leaving him hanging in mid-air.
"Haha, this is all your doing," the woman said, her eyes filled with malice.
At that moment, the Second Demon Consort approached, looking down at him from above. "This is what happens when you oppose us."
Then a knife appeared in the Second Demon Consort's hand, causing Wang Niu's heart to freeze. She wouldn't really kill him in the Demon Palace, would she?
Suddenly, the knife in the Second Demon Consort's hand came crashing down. In an instant, Wang Niu felt an intense chill wash over him.
He couldn't help but tremble. Just as the knife was about to strike him, his heart raced. Suddenly, he unleashed a powerful force that sent a surge of energy toward the Second Demon Consort, causing her knife to slip from her grasp.
Wang Niu took a deep breath. At that moment, the woman behind him launched an attack, sending a massive beam of light toward him. Just as it seemed it would hit him, Wang Niu's heart skipped a beat. At that instant, Bai Yu appeared and deflected the beam of light away from him.
Wang Niu sighed deeply. Just then, a strange sound echoed through the air, making his heart race again. The Second Demon Consort and the woman exchanged puzzled glances upon hearing it. At that moment, the woman seemed to sense something and said to the Second Demon Consort, "Let's go."
The Second Demon Consort shot Wang Niu an unwilling glare before turning to leave alongside her companion.
Wang Niu took another deep breath and said to Bai Yu, "I'm glad nothing happened."
At that moment, Bai Yu's expression became somewhat strange, which puzzled Wang Niu. "What's wrong with you?" he asked.
Bai Yu shook his head and replied, "It's nothing. Let's hurry; the sound we just heard means the banquet is about to start."
Wang Niu understood and followed Bai Yu into the banquet hall.
As soon as they arrived, they found the place filled with people, making Wang Niu feel particularly nervous. Back in the Demon Palace, the Second Demon Consort had already begun to act recklessly against him.
He feared that she wouldn't let him off during the banquet.
Taking a deep breath, he noticed that Bai Yu seemed to sense his tension and said, "What's wrong? Are you worried about the Second Demon Consort?"
Wang Niu nodded in agreement.
Bai Yu gave him a reassuring nod, signaling him not to worry too much; everything would be fine.
Yet, Wang Niu's heart remained uneasy.
Suddenly, a series of strange sounds echoed around them, causing Ruoxi to feel puzzled. "What is that noise?" she asked.
Wang Niu's heart skipped a beat. Upon hearing the sounds, Bai Yu's face relaxed as he said to Wang Niu, "Don't worry; this is a reassuring sound. It's the Demon King's decree—no one can act against anyone at this banquet."
Hearing Bai Yu's words calmed Wang Niu down. However, he couldn't help but wonder why the Demon King would issue such an order, which left him feeling perplexed.
Suddenly, something hit Wang Niu, causing a sharp pain in his head.
His heart raced as he looked around and realized it was the Little Demon King. His eyes lit up at the sight of him smiling back.
"Could it be the Little Demon King?" Wang Niu thought to himself as he nudged Bai Yu and said, "It must be him."
Bai Yu glanced over and nodded in agreement. Then Wang Niu seemed to sense something and confidently declared to Bai Yu, "It has to be him."
As the two of them were talking, Little Demon walked over to them and, taking advantage of everyone's distraction, handed them two objects.
Wang Niu was momentarily stunned, looking curiously at the items in Little Demon King's hands. "What is this?"
"This is an antidote. Soon, Second Demon Consort will poison the wine you drink," Little Demon said.
Wang Niu and Bai Yu were taken aback, not expecting that Second Demon Consort would still target them.
They took the items from Little Demon's hands and quickly consumed them. In an instant, their bodies began to undergo numerous changes.
"What is happening?" A hint of worry appeared on Wang Niu's face.
Bai Yu looked at him and reassured him, "There's no need to worry; it's safe."
Upon hearing this, Wang Niu gradually felt calmer. Just then, he seemed to sense something; a chilling aura was approaching them. However, this cold presence did not attack but was intercepted by Little Demon King.
