Those who looked at what Wang Niu held in his hands immediately understood. They nodded at Wang Niu and said, "You two go in and bring that child out. Remember to come out early."
Wang Niu and Xiaomei nodded in response, then walked inside. As they entered, a chill suddenly gripped their hearts.
Xiaomei froze for a moment, furrowing her brows. She turned to Wang Niu and said, "Something feels off here. It seems like someone has deliberately changed something."
Wang Niu was taken aback by Xiaomei's words, looking at her in disbelief. "What do you mean?"

Wang Niu nodded, and the two continued deeper inside. Before long, they heard strange sounds of water.
This made Wang Niu's heart grow wary, and Xiaomei also looked around with a cautious expression.
"Wang Jun, don't you feel anything?" Xiaomei asked Wang Niu.
Just as Wang Niu was about to shake his head, he suddenly saw a scene that was starkly white. His expression turned serious; wasn't that water?
Realizing something, Wang Niu quickly pulled Xiaomei into the air. Xiaomei took a deep breath, and at that moment, they noticed that their feet were surrounded by water. The appearance of this water made Xiaomei frown tightly. Suddenly, the water turned black, and it seemed there were Vengeful Spirits lurking within.
The cries of these Vengeful Spirits were terrifying, causing both Xiaomei and Wang Niu to grow serious.
"Heavenly Emperor, what should we do?" A hint of fear appeared in Xiaomei's eyes. Wang Niu reassured her, saying, "Don't be afraid; these are minor issues for us. We can't use Divine Power; if we do, we'll be discovered."
Upon hearing Wang Niu's words, Xiaomei felt the weight of the situation. If they didn't use Divine Power, it would be very difficult to deal with this black water.
"Heavenly Emperor, this will be challenging."
Xiaomei's voice was filled with concern, and at that moment, the water beneath their feet surged up unexpectedly, splashing onto them. Instantly, Xiaomei felt a sharp pain coursing through her body. Wang Niu's heart trembled at the sight, and he looked at Xiaomei in confusion. She explained the nature of the dark energy to him. Upon hearing this, Wang Niu drew the dark energy towards himself. Xiaomei was taken aback, her expression one of disbelief. Just as she was about to grab Wang Niu's arm, a sphere of white light suddenly appeared around him, absorbing all the water beneath their feet.
Xiaomei watched in astonishment as it seemed Wang Niu emanated a radiant white light.
She stood there in shock, unable to believe what she saw. "Heavenly Emperor, what's happening to you?" she asked. Wang Niu looked at her with curiosity before realizing something. He reassured her, "It's nothing; this light is invisible to the Ghost Gate Cult."
With that, Wang Niu led Xiaomei onward. Despite his words, Xiaomei still felt a twinge of fear. Her eyes darted around nervously. Wang Niu noticed her cautious demeanor and sighed. "There's no danger here; you can relax."
Xiaomei forced a smile and continued walking alongside him. However, after a short while, she suddenly sensed something was off.
"This isn't right."
Xiaomei halted abruptly, leaving Wang Niu momentarily stunned. "What do you mean? Is this not the Reincarnation Layer?" he asked.
Taking a deep breath, Xiaomei replied, "This is indeed the Reincarnation Layer, but it's not the real Reincarnation Layer; it's an illusion created within it."
Wang Niu was taken aback and struggled to comprehend Xiaomei's words. He looked at her and asked, "What does that mean?"
Sighing deeply, Xiaomei's expression grew serious as she gazed at Wang Niu. "In short, this is a virtual illusion."
Wang Niu was momentarily stunned by Xiaomei's words. If this was indeed a reflection of his environment, how could he not have known?

A tingling sensation crept over Wang Niu's scalp as he took a deep breath and said to Xiaomei, "It seems my Divine Power is restricted."
Xiaomei's face turned pale as she extended her hand. The injury she had sustained had coalesced into a swirling mass of black mist, making her complexion even more ghastly.
Wang Niu looked at Xiaomei, concern filling his eyes. He asked her, "What’s wrong? Have you encountered a problem too?"
Upon hearing Wang Niu's question, Xiaomei nodded and replied, "Yes, it's a significant issue. My Divine Power might also be restricted."
Wang Niu fell silent for a moment, seemingly lost in thought. After a while, he redirected his gaze to Xiaomei and said, "It's alright. As long as we rescue the child, we can leave immediately."
Xiaomei was taken aback by Wang Niu's words, her expression tinged with helplessness. Then, the two of them moved deeper inside. Just then, they heard footsteps approaching; it sounded like members of the Ghost Gate Cult were coming out.
"Heavenly Emperor, what is going on?" Ruoxi asked Wang Niu.
Wang Niu narrowed his eyes and quickly pulled Ruoxi aside. A few members of the Ghost Gate Cult entered the area; they seemed to be the previous guards.
"You must search carefully; they might be right here," one of them urged.
"Yes," came the reply.
As soon as they finished speaking, the group began to search around, leaving Xiaomei and Wang Niu momentarily stunned. Had they been discovered?
Xiaomei whispered to Wang Niu, "Heavenly Emperor, it seems they have found us."
Wang Niu nodded in response, "Yes, they know."
A sense of fear crept into Xiaomei's heart. After all, if they were discovered, it would lead to unnecessary trouble. Just then, members of the Ghost Gate Cult suddenly approached their direction. Xiaomei's heart raced as she turned to Wang Niu and said, "Heavenly Emperor, look quickly!"
Wang Niu followed her gaze and reassured her, "I understand. Don't worry."
No sooner had he spoken than Xiaomei saw that the Ghost Gate Cult members had reached them. Her heart tightened with anxiety.
"They can't see us," he told her.
Xiaomei was momentarily taken aback by this statement, feeling a bit skeptical. However, following Wang Niu's words, it seemed that indeed, the person could not see them.
The individual merely glanced hurriedly in their direction before moving on, which allowed Xiaomei to breathe a deep sigh of relief. But at that moment, for some unknown reason, the others began to look toward their hiding spot.
Wang Niu felt a jolt of alarm and immediately urged Xiaomei, "Quick, cover your mouth!"
Xiaomei was slow to react at first, but by the time she did, the expressions of those people had turned to surprise. Her heart sank; they had seen them.
At that moment, Wang Niu suddenly reached out and covered Xiaomei's nose. This action sent a strange sensation through him.
Xiaomei's breathing quickened; after all, they had no Divine Power on them. It was quite difficult to deal with such situations without it.
The group continued to approach them but inexplicably stopped in their tracks. Wang Niu felt another wave of unease wash over him; he sensed an even greater danger lurking behind them. Just then, a peculiar wind surged around them, wrapping around the approaching figures in an instant.
Fear spread across the faces of those individuals as they knelt down one by one. This sudden turn of events left both Wang Niu and Xiaomei puzzled. Xiaomei looked at Wang Niu and asked what was happening.
"It seems the Left and Right Protectors of the Ghost Gate Cult have arrived," Wang Niu replied.

Xiaomei was momentarily stunned; she hadn’t heard the Left and Right Protectors of the Ghost Gate Cult approaching.
After those individuals knelt down, two figures appeared before them, one clad in white and the other in black. Their presence filled Xiaomei with unease, indicating that they were facing yet another layer of danger.
“Heavenly Emperor, what should we do?” Wang Niu squinted, shaking his head at Xiaomei. Just then, the kneeling figures suddenly transformed into skeletons. Following this, Xiaomei noticed a wisp of black mist emanating from the Black and White Guardians. This mist instantly enveloped her heart, stirring a strange feeling within her.
“Heavenly Emperor, why do I feel like these beings are here to help us?” Xiaomei whispered to Wang Niu.
A smile crept onto Wang Niu’s face, and for some reason, it brought Xiaomei a sense of reassurance.
Wang Niu nodded at Xiaomei. Moments later, she seemed to sense something; at that moment, a terrifying entity suddenly erupted from the black mist nearby and was swiftly captured by the Black and White Guardians. They approached Xiaomei and Wang Niu, their gazes fixed upon them, causing Xiaomei’s heart to skip a beat. Wang Niu subtly signaled to Xiaomei not to be afraid. Yet at that moment, an inexplicable fear welled up within her. Taking a deep breath, she suddenly heard a loud voice echoing from somewhere.
“Not good! The leader is coming! You all need to hide!” the Black and White Guardians urged them.
Although Xiaomei didn’t understand why the Black and White Guardians were speaking to them this way, she had no time to ponder it further. “Heavenly Emperor, let’s hide! We’ve already been exposed here. I know a safe place; we just need to open this illusion,” she said urgently to Wang Niu.
Wang Niu nodded, looking toward the Black and White Guardians. They understood what he meant and nodded back in acknowledgment.
Then, the Black and White Guardians cast a spell that opened the illusion. In an instant, a sphere of light appeared before them, completely dispelling the illusion. Xiaomei took a deep breath of relief.
Afterward, they exited the illusion, and as they did so, an unusual light flickered in Xiaomei’s eyes.
“Where is that safe place you mentioned?” Wang Niu asked with confusion.
“Heavenly Emperor, look over there,” Xiaomei pointed to a location. Wang Niu’s heart sank as he turned his gaze toward it; all he saw was an expanse of black mist.
“Xiaomei, are you sure this place is safe?” Wang Niu asked, puzzled.
Xiaomei nodded at Wang Niu and said, “Yes, this place is indeed secure. Moreover, I seem to sense a familiar presence, a presence that feels like my child.”
Wang Niu was taken aback and turned his gaze toward the area she indicated. Just then, a wisp of White Mist floated out from that spot. The appearance of the White Mist filled Wang Niu with confusion. He stood frozen for a moment, recalling Xiaomei's words. Could it be that Xiaomei's child was truly in that place before them?
Without overthinking it, Wang Niu decided that since Xiaomei had sensed the child's presence, it must be true. He then walked toward that spot. Seeing this, Xiaomei followed closely behind him. In an instant, Xiaomei seemed to feel something and quickly pulled Wang Niu along.
Wang Niu felt a bit puzzled. Did Xiaomei sense something again?
“Xiaomei, what’s wrong?” Wang Niu asked, his voice filled with concern as he noticed the surprise in Xiaomei's eyes.
Xiaomei replied, “Heavenly Emperor, even here…”
Before long, they rushed inside and were met with a sound echoing throughout the area. This made Xiaomei very anxious because the sound seemed so familiar; it resembled her child's voice.
“What’s going on?” Wang Niu also sensed something was off.
Xiaomei's heart raced as the sound sent shivers down her spine, intensifying her fear.
“Heavenly Emperor, it seems something has happened to my child,” Xiaomei said nervously to Wang Niu.
Wang Niu felt a surge of anxiety as well. At that moment, Xiaomei sensed something and dashed forward in a frantic manner.
Wang Niu's heart skipped a beat at the thought of Xiaomei encountering danger and hurried after her.
Taking a deep breath, Wang Niu called out to Xiaomei, “Xiaomei, don’t panic!”
They soon arrived at a strange place, surrounded by pink foam that looked eerie. Xiaomei's gaze wandered around, as the feeling in her heart grew stronger.
"Heavenly Emperor, look over there," Xiaomei said, her face turning pale. She froze for a moment, feeling a mix of helplessness and surprise. Wang Niu followed her gaze and saw a baby appearing in a nearby pool. Xiaomei's heart trembled at the sight; what was this?

Suddenly, Xiaomei felt as if her heart had dropped to the ground.
"What's wrong?" Wang Niu asked, puzzled. Xiaomei shook her head in response. Just then, the baby in the pool began to cry out loudly, the sound hauntingly sorrowful. This made Xiaomei even more unsettled as she rushed toward the baby, leaving Wang Niu confused about her sudden reaction.
Wang Niu approached Xiaomei and said, "Xiaomei, isn't this child yours?"
Wang Niu's words only deepened Xiaomei's distress. After a moment, her anxiety grew as she picked up the child, but the baby remained motionless, as if lifeless. Xiaomei's expression turned pale as she looked at Wang Niu and said, "Heavenly Emperor, my child... what happened to him?"
Wang Niu took the child from Xiaomei's hands, his expression growing serious. His gaze remained fixed on the baby. "This is bad; the child has had all his life gates sealed by someone, which is why he is like this."
Xiaomei looked at Wang Niu in confusion, but he sighed deeply. There was no time to explain to her; if they didn't quickly unseal the child's life gates, he would be in danger.
Wang Niu immediately found a place to lay the child down. After a while, the baby's complexion slowly improved. However, at that moment, the child's body suddenly turned pitch black, causing Xiaomei's heart to skip a beat. She quickly turned to Wang Niu and said, "Heavenly Emperor, what should we do? The child's condition seems to be getting worse."
Wang Niu glanced at the child and realized that things were indeed not looking good. He reassured Xiaomei, "Don't worry; I know what to do."
After saying that, Wang Niu focused entirely on the task at hand. Just then, Xiaomei seemed to sense something and said to Wang Niu, "Heavenly Emperor, something is coming."

Upon hearing Xiaomei's voice, Wang Niu nodded back. Then, Xiaomei headed toward that strange direction.
Wang Niu merely glanced lightly and then withdrew his gaze, for he had more pressing matters to attend to. Just then, for some unknown reason, Wang Niu suddenly bit through his own finger.
Blood flowed directly from Wang Niu's hand, and in an instant, he felt a tremendous pain throughout his body. He could no longer pay attention to the others; at that moment, he immediately offered his blood to the child.
Once the child absorbed the blood, a significant change occurred in him. The dark spots that had previously appeared on the child's body vanished in an instant.
Wang Niu took a deep breath, somewhat puzzled, and asked the child, "Are you okay?"
Although the child had taken on the appearance of an infant, he still looked the same as before. Moreover, this child was the offspring of the King of Hell.
Hearing Wang Niu's words, the child replied, "I'm fine, but I still need a bit more energy."
Wang Niu's expression tightened as he said to the child, "I understand. Hurry and absorb it."
After saying that, the child listened to Wang Niu and continued to absorb the blood from his hand. In just a short while, Wang Niu felt his energy rapidly depleting, which left him deeply confused.

Once outside, he saw Xiaomei battling a group of monsters. This made Wang Niu's heart skip a beat. Just then, he sensed something; an energy burst forth from him in an instant.
This surge of energy exploded outward suddenly. Xiaomei's heart raced as she quickly dodged away. The burst of light inexplicably grew larger at that moment, causing all those monsters to vanish in an instant.
