For some reason, Xiaomei felt a surge of anxiety. Wang Niu whispered to her, "Don't be afraid; I'm here."
A warm current flowed through Xiaomei's heart as she nodded at Wang Niu. After a while, the footsteps seemed to grow closer, which puzzled Wang Niu. Before they had entered the cave, those monsters had already been eliminated—how could there be anyone else?
Then two foxes appeared before them, causing Wang Niu to furrow his brow in disbelief. These two foxes were actually the fairies he had previously arranged in the heavens.
"Heavenly Emperor, this isn't..." At that moment, Xiaomei recognized them too. Wang Niu nodded at her, his expression turning serious. How could these two fairies be here?
"Heavenly Emperor, are you alright?" Xiaomei asked nervously upon seeing Wang Niu's troubled expression.
Wang Niu shook his head and assured her that he was fine.
Taking a deep breath, Xiaomei asked Wang Niu, "Heavenly Emperor, how did these two end up here? It can't be..."
Halfway through her sentence, Xiaomei suddenly stopped speaking.
Wang Niu's expression grew serious as his gaze remained fixed on the two foxes that had just entered.
Once the two foxes stepped inside, they paused for a moment, their eyes widening in surprise as they looked around in disbelief.
"Oh my gosh, where has all our essence gone?" the white fox exclaimed, its face paling as it looked up.
"Could it be that someone has come in?"
Gray Fox suddenly realized something and turned cautiously toward Wang Niu and Xiaomei, observing them intently.
Xiaomei felt a twinge of anxiety; could Gray Fox have discovered them?
Wang Niu gave Xiaomei a reassuring look. She nodded, took a deep breath, and felt her worries ease. Meanwhile, the two foxes began searching for something within the cave.
After a while, they seemed to have found something.
"I smell an unfamiliar presence," the white fox said to Gray Fox.
Gray Fox paused for a moment, sniffing the air again. It seemed to understand something, and its expression turned fierce as it replied to the white fox, "You're right. I just caught a whiff of something strange—it's the scent of living beings. Perhaps our essence has been drained by that thing."
Hearing Gray Fox's words, the white fox said, "You're correct. We need to retrieve our essence right away."
Just then, as the two foxes were about to leave, Xiaomei sneezed loudly. The sound startled her, and in the next moment, her face flushed red with embarrassment as she glanced at Wang Niu and whispered, "I'm sorry, Heavenly Emperor. I've made another mistake."
Wang Niu shook his head at Xiaomei, not blaming her but reassuringly saying, "It's fine."
At the same time, the two foxes had also heard Xiaomei's movements and were slowly approaching them, causing both Wang Niu and Xiaomei to feel anxious.
"Emperor, do you think they noticed us?" Xiaomei asked Wang Niu.
Wang Niu shook his head. "Don't worry."
The two foxes walked right in front of them, and suddenly, one of the foxes passed through their bodies. This left Xiaomei stunned—what was happening?
In an instant, Xiaomei felt a wave of heat coursing through her body, overwhelming her senses. At the same moment, the foxes seemed to sense something as well, their expressions turning to surprise.
"This is bad; it feels like something is draining my energy," White Fox said, his face changing dramatically.
"Oh no, Emperor! It's the essence I absorbed earlier; it's acting up and drawing all the energy from White Fox!" Xiaomei's tone was urgent.
Wang Niu paused for a moment before saying to Xiaomei, "It's okay; it will be fine soon."
Upon hearing White Fox's words, Gray Fox's expression shifted drastically. He immediately pulled White Fox closer and seemed to realize something, fixing his gaze intently on a spot ahead. This made Wang Niu's heart grow heavy.
"Emperor, they have discovered us," Xiaomei observed.
Wang Niu wasn't worried. Since they had been noticed, these foxes still wouldn't be able to act against them. Their reluctance to reveal themselves was due to not wanting to expose their identities in front of the foxes; Wang Niu had his own plans.
Taking a deep breath, Wang Niu noted that the foxes initially intended to attack their direction but then retreated from the cave entrance. Suddenly realizing something, he grabbed Xiaomei and said, "Let's go too; following them might lead to some discoveries."
Xiaomei nodded and said to Wang Niu, "Alright, Heavenly Emperor."
Then, the two of them followed behind him.
Soon after, Wang Niu seemed to realize that the direction the two foxes were heading was precisely towards the Underworld. This sudden realization filled Wang Niu with great doubt. He turned to Xiaomei and said, "Xiaomei, look, why are these two foxes going this way?"
Xiaomei also found it strange and replied to Wang Niu, "Could it be that these two foxes are colluding with those things in the Underworld?"
Upon hearing Xiaomei's words, Wang Niu was taken aback. Did Xiaomei know the identities of those things in the Underworld?

Wang Niu was stunned. He hadn't expected it to be connected to the Ghost Gate Cult; those people truly were relentless.
Seeing Wang Niu in shock, Xiaomei thought something serious had happened and asked him what was wrong.
Wang Niu shook his head after a moment of hesitation.
They arrived at the Underworld, where the two foxes opened the great gate of the Underworld.
This left both Xiaomei and Wang Niu dumbfounded; these two foxes had no energy to open the gate of the Underworld.
Wang Niu furrowed his brows, and Xiaomei's expression also darkened.
"What is going on?" Xiaomei asked Wang Niu, her face filled with confusion.
Wang Niu shook his head and replied, "I'm not sure. It seems that these two foxes have something protecting them, helping them to open the gate to the Underworld."
Xiaomei's gaze fell upon the foxes, and suddenly, it was as if she saw something. The foxes were emanating a bright light, causing her heart to tremble. She turned to Wang Niu and said, "Heavenly Emperor, do you see what that is?"
Wang Niu looked over and noticed that the two foxes appeared to be wearing something resembling a token around their necks.
His expression changed dramatically; that object was none other than the token of the Ghost Gate Cult.
How did these two foxes come into possession of those?
"What is going on?" Wang Niu's tone became more serious.
Xiaomei was filled with confusion as well. Suddenly, she thought of something: it was possible that these two foxes had allied themselves with the Ghost Gate Cult.
Just as she was about to tell Wang Niu, he spoke up, "I know what you're going to say, and I think that's a possibility too."
Wang Niu's words made Xiaomei's heart skip a beat. If that were the case, then Heaven would indeed be under the influence of the Ghost Gate Cult.
"Heavenly Emperor, do you think all the members of the Ghost Gate Cult could be in Heaven?" Xiaomei asked Wang Niu.

Xiaomei nodded in relief. If that were true, then she wouldn't have to worry.
"Heavenly Emperor, let's go in as well," she suggested as the two foxes entered.
Wang Niu noticed this and nodded at Xiaomei before stepping into the Underworld alongside her.
At that moment, a strange black wind swept past them from behind. Both Wang Niu and Xiaomei sensed it simultaneously, prompting Xiaomei to alert Wang Niu immediately.
Wang Niu's expression grew serious as he followed Xiaomei to a concealed spot. They could sense a familiar aura within the black wind.
It seemed Wang Niu recognized something and said to Xiaomei, "That is the aura of the Ghost Gate Cult."
Xiaomei was momentarily stunned and asked Wang Niu, "What is the Ghost Gate Cult doing here?"
Wang Niu shook his head at Xiaomei. Shortly after, the two followed the black wind closely. In an instant, Xiaomei realized something and said to Wang Niu, "Heavenly Emperor, I think something's off. This black wind seems to know we're following it, as it's been circling around in place."
Xiaomei's words instantly alerted Wang Niu, who stared at her in disbelief. After a moment, he finally reacted; indeed, the black wind had discovered them.
Xiaomei took a deep breath. At that moment, the black wind suddenly surrounded Wang Niu and Xiaomei tightly, leaving both of them stunned.
"Wang Jun, what should we do now?" Xiaomei asked Wang Niu.
Wang Niu paused for a moment and replied to Xiaomei, "It's still unclear. Let's wait. Since this black wind hasn't attacked us, we shouldn't make any sudden moves. There are definitely people from the Ghost Gate Cult around here, and if we alert them, it could be troublesome."
Xiaomei nodded in agreement. Just then, the black wind surrounding them inexplicably dissipated.
This surprised Xiaomei, who looked at Wang Niu in disbelief. "Heavenly Emperor, why did this black wind just leave?"
Wang Niu shook his head and said to Xiaomei, "It might be because of this."

"Heavenly Emperor, could there be danger again?" A hint of panic appeared in Xiaomei's eyes.
Wang Niu shook his head and comforted her, saying, "No need to worry; everything will be fine."
Xiaomei nodded and responded to Wang Niu. After a while, the movement ceased again.
Wang Niu's expression grew complex as he looked around. He then turned to Xiaomei and asked, "Do you know where the child is?"
Xiaomei paused for a moment, then closed her eyes, seemingly trying to sense the child's location. Time passed, and Xiaomei kept her eyes shut, which made Wang Niu anxious. Did Xiaomei feel the child's presence or not?
Just then, Xiaomei opened her eyes, and Wang Niu's heart raced. He asked her, "Did you find it?"
Xiaomei nodded at Wang Niu and said, "Yes, my child is in the Underworld's Reincarnation Layer."
Wang Niu was taken aback; he had never heard of something called the Reincarnation Layer.
"Where is this place?" Wang Niu asked curiously.
Xiaomei explained to Wang Niu, "This place is in the middle of Hell."
After saying this, Xiaomei's expression turned extremely poor. Wang Niu could see something troubling in her demeanor and asked, "What's wrong? Are you thinking of something bad?"
Xiaomei nodded at Wang Niu. If she stayed in the Reincarnation Layer for too long, she would become a Layered Ghost Servant of the Reincarnation Layer, constantly dealing with the food there. I'm worried...

Xiaomei froze for a moment, her expression darkening further.
She looked at Wang Niu and said, "This might mean that a storm is coming."
Just as Xiaomei finished speaking, the ground shook violently beneath them.
At that moment, a massive hole suddenly appeared in the center, from which dark mist erupted. This made Xiaomei feel very uneasy.
She turned to Wang Niu and said, "Heavenly Emperor, we need to hide quickly."
Wang Niu was momentarily stunned as Xiaomei pulled him aside. He had no idea what was happening until flames burst forth from the enormous opening. It was then he realized that it was the Ghost Gate Sect Master. A wisp of white mist surrounded him, and in an instant, the Ghost Gate Sect Master broke through the sky of the Underworld. Tendrils of black mist surged outwards, causing Wang Niu's expression to grow increasingly grave.
"Heavenly Emperor, what should we do?" Xiaomei's voice was filled with worry.
"Don't panic. Let's rescue the child first."
After a while, the middle section suddenly closed again.
Xiaomei let out a sigh of relief, and Wang Niu glanced at her before continuing to walk alongside Xiaomei. Before long, they arrived at the place Xiaomei had mentioned.
However, the area before them was tightly surrounded by members of the Ghost Gate Cult. If they charged in directly, it would likely lead to significant and unnecessary trouble.
"Heavenly Emperor, should we just charge in or...?"
Wang Niu shook his head and said to Xiaomei, "No, we can only rely on our wits."
As soon as he finished speaking, Xiaomei felt a chill run through her body. In an instant, she noticed that her appearance had changed dramatically.
This left Xiaomei stunned, and she looked at Wang Niu in confusion. "Heavenly Emperor, are we going to disguise ourselves as members of the Ghost Gate Cult?"

At that moment, the two had already completed their disguises.
Wang Niu nodded at Xiaomei. Just then, they heard two voices nearby.
"What do you think the leader wants with that child?"
"Don't you know?"
"I don't know. If you ask me, that child should be killed to eliminate future troubles."
Upon hearing this, Xiaomei's expression changed dramatically. Just as she was about to strike down the two individuals, Wang Niu stopped her.
"There's no need to rush," Wang Niu said to Xiaomei. "You'll understand soon."
Xiaomei looked at Wang Niu, who wore a mysterious expression, and nodded. At that moment, the two individuals approached them, causing Xiaomei to feel a sudden pressure.
"Who are you?"
The two noticed their presence and furrowed their brows, pointing their weapons at Wang Niu and Xiaomei.
Xiaomei's expression turned calm, mirroring Wang Niu's demeanor. Just then, the two individuals spotted the tokens on them and immediately lowered their weapons. "Oh, it turns out we’re all on the same side. My apologies."
Wang Niu smiled and noticed a peculiar piece of paper in their hands.
Wang Niu's eyes flickered as he asked, "Where are you headed with that paper?"
The two were momentarily taken aback by Wang Niu's question but quickly regained their composure. They explained, "This is something the Master assigned us. Didn't you hear? A child was captured in the Reincarnation Layer. Do you know who that child is?"
Xiaomei's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this; it seemed she realized something. She subtly signaled to Wang Niu, who understood immediately and replied to the two individuals, "I don't know. Who is that child you're talking about?"
The two people looked at Wang Niu with puzzled expressions, their faces breaking into smug smiles as one of them said, "You don't understand, do you? That's the King of Hell's child. Do you know who the King of Hell is?"
