Considering that you were previously known as The King of the Earth, we took this matter into account and didn’t dare make any hasty decisions," Taishang Laojun explained.
His words reminded me immediately. Without delay, I decided to go with Taishang Laojun to the Heavenly Observation Palace while the Celestial Maidens stayed behind to take care of Ruoxi.
The Heavenly Observation Palace is a place for stargazing, where one can not only observe the fortunes of the stars but also enjoy the night scenery and glimpse into many future events.
I walked inside with Taishang Laojun, where a very large mirror was placed in the center.
Taishang Laojun opened the mirror, and instantly, images of the human world appeared within it.
I looked over and saw that humanity was slowly getting back on track. I sighed in relief; this was the best outcome.
Suddenly, the scene in the mirror shifted to another place, one filled with suffering and disease. The people there were living in agony, with bodies lying everywhere.
"What is happening?" This sight shocked me deeply.
Taishang Laojun sighed heavily and said, "This is all due to torment. This village was once beautiful, but because of a rewrite of fate, their lives have turned into this."
His words struck me hard. Could it be because of me that things had come to this?
"Is it my fault?" I asked Taishang Laojun.
He paused for a moment before replying, "It is not the Heavenly Emperor's doing; this is also destiny. However, there is still a way to save this village."
Taishang Laojun's words filled me with hope, and I eagerly asked him what that method was.
At that moment, Taishang Laojun's gaze turned toward the door. I followed his gaze and saw Ruoxi standing outside, watching us.
I hesitated for a moment. Could it be that Taishang Laojun meant for Ruoxi to go to this mountain village to help them?
In an instant, I understood. However, would it be inappropriate to send Ruoxi there to provide aid?
"Heavenly Emperor, I believe you should know what I mean by 'the method,'" Taishang Laojun looked at me.

I thought for a moment and then agreed. Just then, Ruoxi approached us, her gaze falling on the mirror before her. She saw everything reflected in it.
Her expression immediately soured as she turned to me and asked, "Wang Jun, what's going on?"
Ruoxi's question left me at a loss for words. It seemed that Taishang Laojun sensed my dilemma and spoke up for me. "Miss Ruoxi, there is something that requires the help of an immortal. Would you be willing to assist?"
Ruoxi paused for a moment before nodding. Taishang Laojun then explained the situation to her and outlined the solution. After listening, Ruoxi nodded without hesitation and expressed her willingness.
Her response sent a jolt through me, stirring feelings I hadn't anticipated. I was surprised that Ruoxi agreed so readily without a second thought.
"Ruoxi, are you really sure you can do this?" My heart was still uneasy.

Her words touched me deeply. Throughout this journey, Ruoxi had been by my side without hesitation; her unwavering support was truly moving.

Taishang Laojun looked at Ruoxi with satisfaction and nodded approvingly. It seemed he had already regarded her as the Queen of Heaven at that moment. This matter was of great importance and needed to be discussed in the main hall.

The Celestial Sage looked at me and said, "Please, Your Majesty, remove Miss Ruoxi's Divine Power."

"Are you okay?" I asked as I looked at Ruoxi's pale face, unable to suppress my concern.
Ruoxi nodded and said, "Don't worry; I'm fine."
"Yes, just focus on your tribulation. I'll protect you," I said as I gently touched her face.
"Alright, Wang Jun, please don't worry."
"Time's up, please step onto the Cycle Path, Miss Ruoxi," the Celestial Sage gestured politely.
Ruoxi nodded and followed the Celestial Sage onto the path of reincarnation. My heart began to race with anxiety.
As the Celestial Sage performed the ritual, Ruoxi entered the Heavenly Spiral. In an instant, she was struck by millions of bolts of lightning, letting out a heart-wrenching scream. I was momentarily stunned.
"How could this happen? Is Ruoxi alright?"
"Rest assured, Heavenly Emperor, Miss Ruoxi will be fine; this is normal," the Celestial Sage replied calmly.
I glared at the Celestial Sage, who immediately fell silent. Of course, if it wasn't your wife, you would say she was fine.
Before long, Ruoxi's figure disappeared from the Heavenly Spiral.
"Heavenly Emperor, don't worry; Miss Ruoxi has already been reborn. Once she enters the world again, you will see her," said Taishang Laojun as he approached me.
I nodded and quickly made my way to the Heavenly Observation Palace, standing before the mirror.
The scene appeared in a small village, just as it had before—people were struggling to survive, and it was heart-wrenching to watch. My concern for Ruoxi deepened.
Now, Ruoxi was completely a mortal.
How would she survive in such an environment? At that moment, a pregnant middle-aged woman appeared on the screen. Her face was contorted in pain as if she were about to give birth. My gaze fell on her belly, which looked like it might burst at any moment.
My heart sank. Could the child inside her be Ruoxi?
The woman's complexion grew increasingly pale; it seemed she was nearing childbirth.
Suddenly, I saw blood between her legs, and my heart tightened. According to the current timeline, it should be time for Ruoxi to be born. If something happened to the woman now, it would be disastrous.
I immediately used my celestial energy to protect her and ensure a safe delivery.
Suddenly, the woman's face turned ghostly white as she collapsed to the ground. A faint black mist began to surround her.
