Tainan is filled with a plethora of delicious food, providing plenty of content for Anthon and Haohao, two food YouTubers. After enjoying a delightful bowl of Eel Noodle Soup, they felt satisfied and looked forward to their upcoming adventures.
Da Shewan pulled out a board from the shop, which displayed the name of their new project: "Southern Buffet." The board featured a map of Southern Taiwan, marking numerous renowned eateries and unique snack stalls. The project was similar to what had been outlined in their previous collaboration proposal, aiming to lead viewers on an in-depth exploration of the culinary culture in the south.
"Hello everyone! Today we are officially kicking off our 'Southern Buffet' project!" Da Shewan said to the camera with a beaming smile. Holding a dart in his hand, he was filled with anticipation and excitement. "For the next week, we will throw this dart, and wherever it lands, that's where we'll go to eat!"
He enthusiastically tapped the map on the board, his voice brimming with passion. "We want everyone to see the most authentic and delicious southern cuisine. This project is not just about eating; it's also about exploring the culture and stories behind each place."
Anthon and Haohao nodded silently beside him, their hearts filled with excitement for the journey ahead. They knew that this random yet engaging project would surely attract a large audience and make their filming more vibrant and interesting.
Da Shewan continued explaining to the camera, "We will throw the dart once a day. Wherever it lands, that's where we will film and taste the food. This not only tests our luck but also allows us to explore more unknown culinary paradises together with you all!"
He turned to Anthon and Haohao with a smile. "Are you ready?"
Anthon replied excitedly, "Of course! We can't wait!"
Haohao added with a grin, "This project is going to be so much fun; we will definitely capture the best content."
Da Shewan nodded and handed the dart to Anthon. "Then you can make the first throw!"
Anthon took the dart, stood in front of the map, took a deep breath, and then threw it with all his might. The dart traced an elegant arc through the air before landing steadily on a point on the map.
"Alright, it looks like our first stop is..." Da Shewan stepped closer to take a look and exclaimed excitedly, "Kaohsiung! This is a paradise for southern cuisine!"
Pig's Feet quickly adjusted the camera's focus to capture this thrilling moment as Anthon and Haohao applauded and excitedly discussed their upcoming itinerary.
"Kaohsiung, here we come!" Haohao said enthusiastically, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Anthon smiled as well. "This project is going to be amazing; let's explore southern cuisine together!"
Da Shewan nodded and faced the camera, saying, "So, everyone, please look forward to our 'Southern Buffet' project. We guarantee it will be a feast for your eyes! See you in Kaohsiung next!"
After Da Shewan wrapped up, the filming was nearly finished. Everyone began to pack up the camera equipment and other gear, preparing to leave. Anthon went to the counter to settle the bill, still basking in the satisfaction of a successful shoot.
When Anthon returned, he noticed that Da Shewan had somehow moved next to Haohao, the two standing quite close together. Da Shewan had his arm around Haohao's shoulder like a brother, grinning as he said, "You really did well today, brother Hao!"
Haohao chuckled in response, "Haha, Da Shewan, you were the star of the day!"
The two teased each other like long-lost friends, their laughter echoing in the shop, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Da Shewan's charm and humor made Haohao feel at ease, while Haohao's sincerity and enthusiasm warmed Da Shewan's heart.
Anthon watched them and suddenly felt a wave of jealousy wash over him. He saw the rapport and closeness between Haohao and Da Shewan and couldn't help but feel excluded. This feeling hit him like a cold tide, instantly drowning out his previous satisfaction and joy.
However, Anthon quickly realized that this emotion was unnecessary. He took a deep breath, trying to suppress his jealousy and forcing a smile as he approached them.
"What are you two chatting about?" Anthon asked, keeping his tone as casual as possible.
Da Shewan turned back with a smile upon seeing Anthon approach. He patted Haohao's shoulder and said, "We were just talking about how successful today's shoot was. Brother Hao really performed excellently!"
Haohao nodded and smiled at Anthon. "Yeah, everything went smoothly today. Did you finish paying?"
"Yes, all taken care of," Anthon replied before jokingly adding in a light tone, "You two didn't forget about me as your partner, did you?"
Haohao laughed heartily and came over to pat Anthon on the shoulder. "How could we forget you, Anthon! You're the soul of our team!"
Da Shewan chimed in with a smile, "That's right, Anthon. We can't do without you."
This made Anthon's jealousy and unease slowly dissipate. He looked at Da Shewan and Haohao, feeling a warmth in his heart. He knew that no matter what happened, they were all part of a team, and their friendship and trust in each other were what truly mattered.
"Alright, let's work together and make the upcoming journey just as smooth!" Anthon said, his eyes shining with determination and anticipation.
Da Shewan and Haohao nodded in agreement, the bond of camaraderie and friendship among the three growing stronger in that moment. With laughter and cheerful banter, they stepped out of the Eel Noodle Shop, ready to embrace their next culinary adventure. No matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, creating more wonderful memories along the way.
As they began loading the photography equipment into the car, Haohao suddenly asked curiously, "So where will we be staying?"
Upon hearing this, Da Shewan couldn't help but burst into laughter. While moving the gear, he said, "Oh! I'm half in charge of this project too, so of course I'm taking you to Pingtung! My family's place is huge; it'll be fine!" As he spoke, he happily patted Haohao on the back, a proud smile plastered across his face.
"Really? That's great!" Haohao replied with a smile, filled with excitement. "I've heard that Pingtung is a food paradise; I can't wait to indulge!"
Da Shewan nodded enthusiastically. "Absolutely! There are so many delicious places near my home. When we get there, I'll take you to taste the most authentic Pingtung cuisine; I promise you'll have a feast!"
As Anthon moved the equipment, he watched the interaction between Haohao and Da Shewan, feeling a warmth in his heart. Although this shoot was tough, the joyful atmosphere and friendly companions made everything much more enjoyable.
Pig's Feet joined the conversation with a grin. "That's fantastic! I'm really looking forward to this trip to Pingtung. If Da Shewan says so, it must be full of surprises."
Da Shewan proudly declared, "Of course! Pingtung has plenty of hidden culinary treasures; you’re going to love it!"
Anthon nodded, filled with anticipation for the upcoming journey. He knew this trip would be an unforgettable food adventure. With Da Shewan as their local guide, they were sure to uncover the most authentic and delicious dishes in Pingtung.
As the last piece of equipment was loaded into the car, everyone climbed in, ready to head to Pingtung. The atmosphere inside the vehicle became even more relaxed and cheerful as they excitedly discussed their itinerary and the dishes they were eager to try.
