"Just a bunch of bugs, don't worry about it!"
At that moment, Ye Kai turned around, revealing a grin that showed his white teeth. The muscles on the back of his hand bulged with veins, twisting like steel cables as he suddenly flexed.
"Boom!!!"
The sound of snapping steel strings echoed as Ye Kai switched from palm to knife-hand, striking down at the swarm of fairies surrounding him.
"Bang!!!"
The terrifying explosion of energy collided violently with the shrieks of the fairies, sending them flying like raindrops blown away by a blast. The immense force and shockwave left them utterly defenseless.
Before they could travel far, they burst apart in a shower of blood and flesh amidst their piercing cries.
"Get to work!!"
Ye Kai shouted again, stepping back as his right hand shot out from his sleeve, grabbing a straggler and crushing it with a loud pop.
"Kill!!!"
Lu Jiu's eyes transformed into serpent-like slits, her hair twisting together like green snakes that suddenly sprang forth, morphing into hundreds of green shadows. Almost every two or three snakes would latch onto a fairy.
After a series of popping sounds, aside from the dripping corrosive blood, all the other fairies were devoured by her serpentine hair.
"Let's go!"
Seeing Wolf Cypress on high alert but then relaxing, Ye Kai smirked and said, "There are still at least tens of thousands of fairies outside; you'll have plenty to do!"

Ye Kai inhaled sharply, realizing why this Whelp had the audacity to confront Lü Jiu; its trump card was indeed chilling.

WIKI casually slashed out a few times before sheathing her sword. With a flick of her right hand, a red silk ribbon transformed into a fiery cloud, wrapping around one of the Great Fairies. After two sizzling sounds, a pile of ashes fell abruptly.
Ye Kai slowly exhaled a breath of stale air. Fortunately, his side was not lacking either, while Wolf Cypress's Whelp was clearly sacrificing its own blood essence.
