Ye Kai spread his palm, looking at the powerful grenade. It was only just now, when he was about to throw it, that he realized the potential disaster.
Deep within the Underground Palace, a careless mistake could trigger a massive collapse, and that was no joke.
Even the simultaneous eruption of nearly a thousand laser beams had already caused numerous cracks to appear in the load-bearing pillars of the Underground Palace. Another strike could very well lead to a collapse.
He glanced up at the entrance he had come through and instructed his robot to lay down dozens of Heat-Sensing Mines before proceeding along the path revealed by the Nano Flying Insects.
Frowning as he walked for a while, Ye Kai finally reached a very spacious cross passage. At the center of the intersection ahead stood a fountain.
The fountain, about five meters in diameter, featured a sculpture at its center depicting a three-meter-tall figure on horseback, resembling a Headless General. The figure was clad in dark golden armor adorned with swirling runes, appearing almost new.
It glimmered with Spirit Light, lifelike in detail.
However, after circling around it, he noticed that the Headless General's head was actually hanging from the horse. At that moment, a thick black liquid was flowing from the head suspended on one side of the horse, seeping from all seven orifices and looking quite terrifying.
Having experienced many worlds and seen numerous Strange Creatures, Ye Kai was unfazed.
Based on his past experiences, such ancient Strange Creatures typically required some external stimulus to truly awaken and were often linked to certain legends or tales.
For instance, in the Night Transmission world he had traversed, ancient monsters had appeared.

Ye Kai rolled his eyes abruptly, interrupting WIKI's narration. He summoned his Crane Song Sword and extracted the statue completely before stowing it away.
After carefully searching once more without any further discoveries, he felt somewhat perplexed by the sudden appearance of a fountain at the intersection. Unfortunately, unable to discern anything unusual about it, he left in disappointment.
With the help of the map detected by the Nano Flying Insects, Ye Kai found it easy to locate various mechanisms and the Treasure Room.
After just a few minutes, he stopped in front of a two-meter-high crimson solid wood door.
After various instruments scanned and peered through, he found no high-energy reactions. Gently pushing it open, he discovered a room resembling a study, albeit much larger than an ordinary study.
There were ordinary tables and chairs, typical writing implements—paper, ink, brush, and inkstone.
A common incense burner, regular teacups, and various utensils filled the space, resembling the study of a wealthy or powerful person in the mundane world.

He dispatched hundreds of Nano Flying Insects for analysis and recording while he aimlessly wandered around, releasing his Divine Sense to search inch by inch.
Suddenly, one Nano Worm lost its signal, prompting an immediate alert from WIKI.
Curious, Ye Kai walked over. In his mind, this place seemed to contain nothing of importance—just some trivial books. After a cursory search, he hastily gathered them together and instructed the Nano Flying Insects to stack them up for collection.

"Yes, Lord God."
The three-dimensional projection of WIKI lit up, pointing to a wall adorned with a landscape painting. "All objects in this study are ordinary items except for this wall and this painting; they do not possess..."

Suddenly, Ye Kai turned sharply to face the rows of bookshelves. Remembering WIKI's earlier words, he asked in a low voice, "Are you saying everything here is ordinary?"
"Yes, Lord God."
Ye Kai did not respond immediately but scrutinized the surroundings for a moment before a knowing smile crept onto his lips. "WIKI, project everything in this room for analysis immediately!"
"Yes!"
A swarm of Nano Flying Insects immediately transformed into streaks of silver light, darting up and down. Moments later, with a soft hiss, a Three-Dimensional Projection appeared before Ye Kai.
"What a clever design! What an ingenious array creator!"
Ye Kai exclaimed, realizing why he felt something was off in this place. It turned out that all the furnishings in this room were arranged according to a specific pattern, simultaneously possessing a certain degree of visual deception.
Moreover, the bookshelf had a slight interference effect on Divine Sense, which prevented him from noticing the anomalies at first.
"There’s actually a high-energy reaction here!!!" WIKI suddenly exclaimed.

If the traps he had set earlier were ones that could be easily detected with a little attention, then WIKI was much more complex. It wasn't just a single trap; it was a multi-layered structure with multiple points of activation.
Every item in the room, from the bookshelves and furniture to the paper, ink, brushes, and inkstones, was intricately linked together. Thanks to the clever arrangement of the room, any movement of an object would lead to significant trouble.
In fact, WIKI had even deliberately left a few subtle flaws, which served as additional triggers.
This arrangement was utterly insane!
Ye Kai felt a bead of sweat forming on his forehead. It seemed that after successfully evolving into a sentient being, WIKI had developed not only intelligence but also emotions and even began to use psychology and human nature to set traps.
After casually praising it for a moment, Ye Kai quickly stepped into another secret chamber.
He didn't want to linger; that strange feeling of being on the verge of an explosion made him want to leave immediately.

Compared to the ancient and rustic style of the previous study, this equally spacious secret chamber followed a similar aesthetic without any standout features. However, there were a few items that immediately caught his eye.
He noticed that on the already opened door directly opposite him, someone had carved a complex pattern, with gemstones embedded at each corner and junction.

Just as Ye Kai instructed Nano Worm to gather all data and information, his expression suddenly turned serious. He lightly tapped his toes against the ground and gracefully crossed over ten meters in an instant, landing outside the door.
Before he could make any further moves, he noticed something unusual on the ground not far away. A pile of bones that should have long since lost their vitality began to stir. One by one, the bones floated up as if enchanted by some spell and began to assemble together.
Soon enough, they transformed into three White Skeletons!
These three skeletons were clad in tattered armor and bore a striking resemblance to some Undead Creatures he had summoned in games before.
Each wielded a Bone Sword, their eye sockets flickering with blue Soul Fire. However, it was evident that their rank was low; despite their intimidating appearance, at this moment they couldn't even defeat Nano Flying Insects.
"Crack! Crack!"
Faced with the thin beams of laser, the three Skeleton Soldiers were almost instantly scattered, with two of them completely shattered.
If these three Skeleton Soldiers were delicate young girls, then the Nano Flying Insects were towering giants, effortlessly annihilating them.
Just a few White Skeletons; the pitifully weak Energy Fluctuation told Ye Kai that they were merely ordinary Undead Creatures.
