"Hope your attitude matches your abilities!" Ye Kai sneered, addressing the two Bio Warriors who were already on high alert. "Ye Yi, take him apart for me. That thing looks neither human nor ghost; just looking at it makes me nauseous."
"Understood!"
Receiving the command, Ye Yi leaned forward and charged straight toward the Evil Dragon.
"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!!!"
In just a few seconds, the two exchanged over a dozen blows, the sounds of elbows and fists colliding echoing throughout the room.
"Boom!"
Suddenly, the Evil Dragon staggered back a few steps and retaliated with a punch that smashed into the wall behind him, leaving a massive dent. Dust and debris fell from the cement, and the entire building seemed to tremble from the impact.
"Good, good, good! No wonder this is the guy the organization insisted we capture. But if this is all you've got, then you can all go to hell!"
In an instant, the Evil Dragon curled into a ball and leaped forward like a spinning sphere, pausing mid-air before suddenly extending his arms wide. A deep crimson blood color enveloped his entire forearm.
"Boom!"
Ye Yi was equally unyielding; born for battle, he quickly gathered a violent surge of energy. His pupils dilated to their maximum as he unleashed both fists.
"Boom!!!"
A sound like an explosive shockwave shattered every glass object in the living room into pieces.
Ye Kai's eyes sparkled with excitement. With Ye Er standing in front of him, he knew he was completely safe from harm.
As he watched the Evil Dragon suddenly reveal its full humanoid form again, he could hear a low growl emanating from its nostrils, resembling a fierce beast ready to pounce on its prey at any moment.
"Damn!!!"
Suddenly, Ye Kai felt a sharp prick at the nape of his neck, as if a needle had pierced his skin, sending waves of intense numbness coursing through his mind.
At the same time, he immediately activated the Energy Shield. With a slight reserve of energy, the once extravagant cost of maintaining the Energy Shield for ten minutes per Standard Energy Unit no longer seemed so prohibitive.
Moreover, he instinctively knew that someone was preparing to snipe him from a distance. His expression changed dramatically; he quickly kicked up the sofa and propelled himself to the side.
"You bastards!"
Ye Yi erupted with fury. If their commander suffered even the slightest harm, it would mean their worth had diminished. After all, their destiny as Bio Warriors was to fight for their commander.
Now, someone dared to attempt to injure him in front of them—this was an immense insult and a death sentence!!!
"Kill!"
With a thunderous bang, an unparalleled force of Psychokinesis erupted, instantly sending the enemy flying and shattering the walls behind him. The impact hurled him out of the apartment building, and just as he flew out, he exploded into a cloud of Blood Mist.
This scene was witnessed by several masterminds behind the incident, and their expressions turned grave.
"What is...!!!" The calm demeanor they had maintained moments ago was now replaced by gaping mouths that could hardly close.
"Boom!!!"
Immediately after, another deafening explosion rocked the residential building, causing nearly all the windows on several floors to shatter into fragments that scattered everywhere.
Ye Er stood in front of Ye Kai, his muscles bulging. He already resembled a hulking figure, but now he loomed like an ancient beast on this side of the balcony.
His massive frame, towering over two meters tall, exuded an overwhelming sense of intimidation.
He cast a cold glance at the building across from him, completely ignoring the specially made bullet on the ground. His tone was chilling as he asked, "Commander, should we eliminate all humans in this area?"
"Ah, an earthquake!"
"Help!"
"My money!"
In just a couple of minutes, everyone in the building was terrified, crying out for help. Some even rushed out of their homes in a panic, some without clothes, sprinting down the hallway.
Ye Kai coldly surveyed what was once his "home," then turned and walked out the door, sighing inwardly, "My last attachment to this world has finally vanished!"
Taking a deep breath and feeling the few photographs in his pocket, he spoke quietly, "There's no need for that. Let's go. We need to leave immediately!"
"Yes! Commander!" Ye Yi and Ye Er replied in unison.
One walked ahead of Ye Kai while the other followed closely behind as they hurried toward the exit. The specially made sniper bullet had already stopped before it even reached within a meter of Ye Er.
However, before leaving, he picked up the bullet and casually tossed it toward the opposite floor.
Su Qiong was already frozen in shock.
From a distance, she had witnessed the fate of the evil dragon, which had been obliterated into a rain of blood. This scene left her heart racing and filled her with dread.
She couldn't defeat the evil dragon; if she hadn't been injured, perhaps she could have made him wary of her. But in her current state, escaping was already a significant achievement.
But!!!
"The evil dragon is dead..."
Her injuries had not healed, but upon witnessing such a terrifying scene and recalling the man who exuded an aura reminiscent of an ancient beast, she felt a pang of guilt. She no longer dared to, nor did she want to, trouble Ye Kai.
In her panic, she had only taken a few steps when she could no longer hold back; a mouthful of blood spilled from the corner of her lips.
"Damn it!!!" In her haste, she pushed away a man who was trying to help her, causing him to stumble, and then quickly vanished into the crowd.
...
"Damn it, we have to leave immediately!"
"With such a commotion, the police will definitely respond quickly. Besides, there have already been several major incidents; if we don't get far enough away, we might be in danger!" Ye Kai frowned as he scanned the surroundings and then led the two Bio Warriors swiftly toward a nearby food street.
He relied solely on his memory to navigate quickly, hardly pausing at all.
Suddenly, just as he brought the two Bio Warriors to an abandoned parking lot, a man in a white suit was already waiting there.
Moreover, more than ten people stood behind him, staring intently in their direction.
The man in the white suit had long, flowing golden hair and was quite handsome, but the aura emanating from him—especially the bloodthirsty fervor in his eyes—was chilling.
"I am Dallas. Orders from above have been issued: no one is allowed to pass through here, especially you, Ye Kai."
Though Dallas's eyes revealed a bloodthirsty madness, he still leaned back with his arms crossed lazily and said, "Don't think about escaping. Once you're here with me, you won't have a chance!"
"Hey! Dallas, don't forget about me!"
Suddenly, a group of people appeared behind Ye Kai. The leader was a guy who matched Ye Yi and Ye Er in both height and build, looking as dark and imposing as a Big Bear.
However, anyone who could show up here at this moment was undoubtedly someone very confident in their own abilities.
"We were invited here to participate in the capture of the experimental subjects, but now that we're in trouble, you aren't even planning to provide us with a vehicle? This is unacceptable!" Lais shouted, visibly agitated.
"I'm just following orders from above. It's not just you; we aren't allowed to use cars either, let alone firearms!" Dallas replied, lowering his hands and rolling his neck. He raised his right hand with fingers spread wide and then clenched it tightly. "But this time, if you can help me catch these three people in front of us, listen carefully: you will receive a reward of three million dollars!"
"Three million dollars? It's a deal!" Lais paused for a moment before bursting into laughter, revealing a set of gleaming white teeth. He shouted, "Everyone, go after them! Capture them!"
Ye Kai remained silent, his gaze icy cold. He had already made up his mind to eliminate this group; otherwise, if the entanglement dragged on too long, he would have no choice but to retreat into the System Space.
Although there was a three-second movement restriction for teleportation, at least he could hide for a while.
What he feared most right now was not anything else but whether this group had equipment capable of detecting alternate dimensions. If they did, then once he entered the System Space and couldn't move, wouldn't he be easily trapped by them?
