Three Lives, All Things~~
Although the spiritual energy within the Dantian, the Purple Qi, and the Emperor's Flowing Nectar were still swirling, Lian Yun knew that this was another ability of his Yin-Yang Stage. Once formed, it possessed the power to generate flesh and bone, giving rise to all things.
The precursor to this was that Lian Yun's Ghost Slaves could manifest their bodies while in his Dantian, and this ability was likely what Emperor Yi and the Eternal Emperors desired.
Now, Lian Yun could clearly identify these few abilities, but he had a feeling that if he broke through to a major realm, he might gain additional powers.
After Seven Seven Nights, the changes within his Dantian finally ceased, revealing a Yin-Yang fish that shimmered with purple and gold. The spiritual energy formed a circle that encased the Purple Qi and the Emperor's Flowing Nectar, with an S-shaped boundary dividing the two gases.
Lian Yun felt that not only could he use this Yin-Yang fish to generate all things, but he could also absorb the energy of all things to transform and enhance this Yin-Yang fish.
The simplest method of verification was Filth. If he could absorb it like the Vermilion Bird, it would prove he could absorb all things. To this end, Lian Yun made a special trip to the Filth Realm. By dawn on the third day, he had absorbed all the floating Purple Qi. Upon returning to the palace, he began absorbing Emperor's Flowing Nectar until the quantities of Purple Qi and Emperor's Flowing Nectar reached a balanced state.
In fact, Lian Yun's absorbed Purple Qi could now be converted into Emperor's Flowing Nectar; it just wasn't as fast as directly absorbing Emperor's Flowing Nectar. Furthermore, while he could absorb Emperor's Flowing Nectar at will, Purple Qi was relatively scarce. Lastly, his body benefited from being cleansed by Emperor's Flowing Nectar and gained deeper insights into Spirituality.
Next, Lian Yun essentially entered seclusion within the palace of Emperor's Flowing Nectar.
Strangely enough, perhaps due to instructions from the Eternal Emperor, during Lian Yun's three months of seclusion, not a single Peerless Monarch or even Half Emperor came to receive the cleansing of Emperor's Flowing Nectar.
Upon exiting seclusion, Lian Yun’s first task was to gather Fang Wu and three other Master Blacksmiths along with about ten more Master Blacksmiths to formally design the Half-Emperor Set for Summer Snow. According to Summer Snow’s requirements, incorporating ice and snow patterns was quite simple; however, further consideration was needed for its overall design.
To be honest, regarding the Half-Emperor Set, previous cities had studied it for many years. Although they had developed numerous plans, they had always struggled to take action or lacked confidence. It was only now that Lian Yun felt a certain level of confidence and decided it was time to begin forging.
Before forging, Lian Yun first crafted a pair of advanced Soul Gear gloves, which was a request from Summer Snow, though it wasn't specified that they needed to be Demigod Level equipment.
Even so, Lian Yun forged nearly a hundred pairs of gloves before finally creating two pairs of advanced Soul Gear gloves.
Next came the design of the set. Remembering the appearance of the Vermilion Bird before its return to Huaxia Land, Lian Yun envisioned a theme centered around an Ice Phoenix.
Fang Wu and the others naturally had no objections, as the icy and snowy imagery was far too simple for them and lacked any challenge.
However, with the Ice Phoenix as the theme, they needed to redesign the set's appearance to capture the essence and grace of the Ice Phoenix. Since none of them had seen an Ice Phoenix, they could only speculate in their minds, comparing it with Summer Snow's aura and continuously modifying their ideas until they achieved a satisfactory result.
The group spent nearly seven days finalizing the design. During this time, Lian Yun often held a piece of Supreme White Ice Stone to ponder its characteristics, along with some ice-blue and transparent Supreme minerals.
Once the design was complete, Lian Yun began forging, primarily for practice. The set included a helmet, chestplate, skirted pants, a pair of boots, and a pair of arm guards. These were the components that Lian Yun and the others had agreed upon. He successfully forged three sets of Supreme equipment, which left Fang Wu and the others in awe; however, they were still far from their goal of creating a single Half-Emperor Set.
Despite this, the effects of the Supreme sets were somewhat astonishing.
The ability to freeze everything within ten miles was remarkable; it could essentially freeze all entities below Peerless Monarch within that radius. While this effect was indeed impressive, it was utterly ineffective against Half Emperors.
Nevertheless, Lian Yun remained unhurried. He continued to study the minerals while infusing Purple Qi and Emperor's Flowing Nectar into the Stone in the Stone, hoping that this infusion would enhance the properties of the minerals.
After three days and with Lian Yun's final strike, the once warm forge suddenly plunged into an icy era. The ten or so assisting Master Blacksmiths were instantly frozen stiff. Fang Wu rubbed his hands together and trembled as he approached Lian Yun in shock. Looking at a helmet on the forging table, he couldn't help but exclaim, "This is Half-Emperor Equipment! Truly remarkable! Just this one piece possesses the effects of a Supreme set. If you manage to forge an entire set, I bet even Peerless Monarchs could be directly frozen!"
Lian Yun nodded but also shook his head; he couldn't yet determine how effective a true Half-Emperor Set would be. However, he was very satisfied that even one piece of equipment could possess such attributes while being worn by five people.
What followed was continuous forging. Although there were some mishaps along the way—such as equipment that should have formed into Half-Emperor Equipment undergoing significant changes just before completion—none of these pieces were wasted; they simply transformed into Supreme equipment instead.
After using up more than half of the Supreme White Ice Stone, Lian Yun managed to forge only one Demigod Level chestplate. This meant that for the remaining half of the Supreme White Ice Stone, he would need to create skirted pants, a pair of gloves, and boots among other items.
To this end, Lian Yun specifically secluded himself for a period of time to deeply comprehend the feeling of forging Half-Emperor Equipment.
A month later, Lian Yun reopened the forge and resumed his work.
At first, he successfully forged a pair of gauntlets, but he failed twice with the relatively simpler Skirted Pants. However, after finally completing the Skirted Pants, Lian Yun did not stop; instead, he forged a pair of shoes in one go while the iron was still hot.
All the equipment components were completed and stored separately, and now it was time to witness a miracle.
Originally, Fang Wu suggested assembling the Half-Emperor Set in the polluted realm, but Lian Yun considered that more than ten Master Blacksmiths had contributed their efforts over the years and deserved to see the grandeur of the Half-Emperor Set.
Thus, Lian Yun led everyone to an uninhabited area hundreds of miles outside the city to assemble the Ice Phoenix Set.
Each of the Seven Pieces of Equipment exuded an extreme chill when taken out.
When the first piece appeared, the ten or so Master Blacksmiths stepped back ten paces. The second piece made them retreat a hundred paces, and by the time all seven pieces were revealed, Fang Wu and the other Peerless Monarchs had to step back a mile.
Only Lian Yun could somewhat withstand its icy aura as he waved his hand to complete the assembly of the Seven Pieces of Equipment. If anyone could forge it, they would probably lose all hope.
With the matter resolved, Lian Yun led everyone back to Luoyang City. After bidding farewell, Lian Yun headed to the Treasure Alliance to ask Qian Duoduo for the Yin Yang Guqin.
