The Lin Clan's group consisted of five teams of Ten Thousand People. Since they were there for development, most members possessed considerable strength. Consequently, there were only a few thousand people in the same novice village as the two of them—at least around eighteen hundred.
Naturally, they were quickly discovered. Under pressure from one of Lin Nan's uncles from the Huang Family, they were brought into the novice village along with Mu Realm.
After fighting in the novice village for over ten days and accumulating wealth, their earnings were confiscated. As a result, Lian Yun received nearly two thousand newcomers as his first batch.
Since over two thousand arrivals included members from the Seven Great Families, he instructed Cloud Realm members to take these individuals to Fortress while allowing some to return and welcome others.
Lian Yun then sent Mu Realm and Lin Nan to Xianjian Sect.
Then the city returned to the land of the Fortress. This was something Lian Yun had set in motion after learning that the Lin Clan agreed to relocate their entire family to Yin Yang City.
First, he went to the imperial city to announce the recruitment of Three Thousand private soldiers. The compensation could only be considered average, as establishing the Fortress would consume vast amounts of resources; however, the recruitment period was quite short—only ten years.
After ten years, those willing to stay, including the Ghostly Guard, Terracotta Army, and robots, would receive improved benefits, but that would be discussed later.
Given that ten years was almost negligible for the Three Major Troops, the Three Thousand private soldiers were quickly recruited. Among them were two thousand Initial Monarchs, five hundred Medium Monarchs, one hundred fifty High Emperors, and fifty Peak Monarchs.
While recruiting these Three Thousand private soldiers, Lian Yun was also searching for a location for the Fortress. After observing outside the city himself, he met with Yaochi and Zhuang Wuxue for further discussions.
