Chapter 5: Lin Jun's Willfulness
Under normal circumstances, while there are designated areas for outsiders in the land of Yaochi, the boundaries between the activities of inner disciples and those of outsiders are very clearly defined.
This essentially means that Yaochi Disciples are not particularly welcoming to outsiders.

This was Lian Yun's first challenge outside of Famous City’s Dungeon; he hadn’t expected to face a Dungeon that had remained unconquered for decades or even centuries right from the start.
Upon entering the Dungeon, they found themselves in an Ice Crystal Cave. The entire cavern was predominantly composed of deep blue ice crystals. The walls, stone pillars, and ceiling were all adorned with shimmering waves rippling through the ice crystals on the ground, creating a breathtaking scene.
However, Lian Yun had no mind to appreciate it, for as soon as he entered, he sensed many powerful auras. Then he saw several blue Crystal Dragons charging towards him and Xiao Jun.
The speed was possibly comparable to that of a Medium Monarch.
However, before Lian Yun could make a move, Xiao Jun had already pointed with Sword One, and the Crystal Dragons instantly shattered into a pile of broken crystals—though they did not completely disappear.
"What does Brother Yun think?"
Lian Yun, curious, walked over to the shattered crystals and picked up a piece to examine closely. However, he discovered that these crystal fragments were not disappearing entirely; they simply vanished more slowly.
In his hand, it turned to sand and slipped through his fingers, disappearing into the air before it could hit the ground. Yet in the end, there remained various sizes of crystal shards on the ground.
It seemed to be some kind of ore, so Lian Yun decided to collect the crystals.
At this moment, Xiao Jun appeared somewhat transcendent, while Lian Yun seemed a bit mundane.
However, Xiao Jun did not mind, and the two continued forward. They had only taken a few steps when Lian Yun remarked calmly, "It’s as if the space has ruptured, forcibly separating."
Indeed, Xiao Jun's previous strike felt as if it had caused the space ahead to rupture, leading to the separation of the bodies of the Crystal Dragons.

As they continued forward, Xiao Jun took the lead in combat while Lian Yun observed and collected crystals from the ground. Soon, they encountered a Crystal Dragon BSS.
Standing about four meters tall, its body was covered in sharp crystals, with razor-sharp fangs and claws, and its gaze was icy.
Xiao Jun struck out but failed to deliver a killing blow in one hit; instead, he provoked the creature. It roared and instantly lunged towards him.
Lian Yun chose not to intervene; instead, he moved aside and sat down to watch.
At that moment, Lian Yun appeared somewhat ethereal while Xiao Jun seemed rather ordinary by comparison.
However, Xiao Jun's swordsmanship was indeed fierce. He remained steadfast, continuously striking and forcing the Crystal Dragon BSS to retreat repeatedly, preventing it from closing in on him.
After watching for a while, Lian Yun grew somewhat bored and stopped observing because Xiao Jun's demands were truly unreasonable. It was clear that he wanted a physical attack to have magical effects. Once such effects were achieved, it would mean a transformation in his swordsmanship.
Yet Lian Yun understood that what Xiao Jun desired was precisely that transformative process, so he chose not to dwell on it. Instead, he took out a piece of crystal and began to examine it closely.
Initially, he had thought it was merely a type of ore. However, after collecting many pieces and examining them closely, he realized that this crystal did not resemble any forgeable mineral.
It felt as if there was a block of ice that could melt into water, yet Lian Yun couldn't find a way to make it turn into liquid. Crushing it or applying heat didn't work either.
After studying it for a while, Lian Yun put away the crystal and looked at Xiao Jun again.
He suddenly realized that Xiao Jun's request was similar to the crystal; it could undergo transformation, but he couldn't find a method to achieve that transformation.
After a moment, Lian Yun suddenly said, "Brother Xiao, why not try Void?"
The concept of space rupture was somewhat different from Space Annihilation. While both seemed to involve the destruction of space, one was expansive while the other was condensing.
It was likely about using spatial compression to distort and reshape the opponent's soul, stripping it of its ability to form and coalesce, effectively leading to the destruction of the soul.
Upon hearing Lian Yun's suggestion, Xiao Jun seemed to ponder for a moment, causing him to pause. He allowed the crystal dragon to approach him, but then he moved as if teleporting, positioning himself beside the crystal dragon. When he struck out again, a piece of flesh suddenly vanished from the crystal dragon's body, creating a hemispherical indentation where it had been.
Xiao Jun was not satisfied with this result and swung his sword at the crystal dragon repeatedly.
In an instant, the once fierce and powerful form of the crystal dragon appeared as if it had been bitten by a dog, with chunks missing from various parts of its body.
