In the passage, the further they walked, the brighter it became, and the treasures like golden jade artifacts beneath the water increased in number. Bai Zhuo was struggling to walk in the water while holding Cao Yu when he suddenly noticed a deep pit beneath his feet. Squinting to take a closer look, he saw that the bottom of the pit was filled with sharp spikes, and several white skeletons were submerged in the water nearby, surrounded by countless gold ingots and jade artifacts.
"It must be that these people were greedy for wealth, picked up these treasures, triggered a trap, and ended up being impaled because they couldn't throw away their riches in time!" "Su Meiniang? What are you doing here?"

Su Meiniang paused for a moment and asked, "You don't know about Lin Yao Yao?"
"What about her?" Bai Zhuo frowned in confusion.
After thinking for a moment, Su Meiniang explained, "You were possessed by the Painted Skin Demon. There are also four souls lurking within you. It was Lin Yao Yao who helped suppress the Painted Skin Demon; you've temporarily regained control."

"My bag!" Bai Zhuo exclaimed joyfully as he received the backpack. Inside, everything was intact, including several coats and winter jackets that had been retrieved from the cave.
He thought for a moment, took out a winter jacket, and turned to hand it to Cao Yu. Cao Yu, blushing, took two steps back. "You... close your eyes."
Bai Zhuo obeyed and shut his eyes. Cao Yu moved like lightning, snatching the jacket and putting it on. Bai Zhuo could hear the rustling sound.
"All done." Cao Yu exhaled, feeling warm both physically and mentally after putting on the jacket. When Bai Zhuo opened his eyes, he saw that his jacket looked a bit oversized on Cao Yu, but it covered her thighs perfectly. At first glance, it resembled something more like intimate attire between a couple.
"What... what are you looking at?" Cao Yu nervously tugged at the jacket, revealing her feminine figure. "Aren't you going to put on your clothes? How embarrassing!"
"Oh, oh," Bai Zhuo chuckled awkwardly. "I didn't expect the clothes to suit you so well." He put on his coat but then took it off again to wrap around his waist.
After putting on their clothes, both of them appeared much more at ease. With a flushed face, Cao Yu forced herself to calm down and asked, "The woman who transformed earlier... that female ghost, is she Su Meiniang?"
"Yes, her name is Su Meiniang; she's a fox spirit," Bai Zhuo replied casually while surveying the Jade Stone Platform to see if he could find any clues.
"Indeed, she's very beautiful, like... like a fox spirit."
Bai Zhuo chuckled lightly. "No, it's not that she looks like one; she actually is a fox spirit. A Nine-Tailed Fox, you know?"
Cao Yu looked astonished. "Ah! She's a fox fairy? No wonder she's so beautiful!" Then she furrowed her brow in confusion. "Wait, do fox fairies turn into ghosts after they die?"
"What fairy? A fox spirit is just a fox spirit—it's a Nine-Tailed Fox! Who knows why she became a ghost? Come help me see if there's any way to open this stone coffin."
"This high platform is a stone coffin? Isn't it too big?" Cao Yu looked up and around; it did resemble an enlarged coffin.
"My intuition tells me that inside might be where the owner of this tomb resides!" Bai Zhuo stated confidently.
Cao Yu worriedly replied, "Aren't we looking for an exit? Maybe we shouldn't go in there."
Bai Zhuo chuckled mischievously. "Don't worry! Since Su Meiniang is here, as long as we stick with her and hold onto her coattails, we won't have to worry about not finding our way out!"
"Do you really trust her that much?" Cao Yu asked skeptically. "She's a female ghost, and aren't Yin Yang Masters supposed to exorcise evil spirits? How could you…"
"You don't understand," Bai Zhuo replied. "Many Yin Yang Masters keep ghosts to help them with various tasks. Besides, she's my Tenant, living under the same roof as me."
"What? Your Tenant is a female ghost?" Cao Yu said, incredulous, covering her mouth. "You live with her?"
Bai Zhuo shrugged nonchalantly. "It doesn't matter who lives there as long as they pay rent. Even if she's a ghost, it's all the same to me."
Hearing this, Cao Yu struggled to accept it. "But… she's a ghost! Are you really that desperate for money?"
Money? Bai Zhuo thought for a moment. He had indeed been short on cash before, even desperate enough to rent out his house.
