Bai Zhuo stood at the door, speechless in shock. The peach and willow trees in the yard were bent and swaying as if caught in a fierce wind; the lawn was littered with peach leaves, willow leaves, and pomegranate petals, creating a chaotic scene. Su Meiniang cursed again. "Harlot!"
"Vixen!" Lin Yao Yao's fair skin flushed an alarming red as she retaliated.
“Flirtatious Girl”
“You… you vixen!” Lin Yao Yao exclaimed, exasperated.
“Hehe!” Su Meiniang twisted her waist, her nine long fox tails swaying behind her as if in defiance. “I am indeed a vixen, and you, ugly creature, come bite me if you dare!”
Lin Yao Yao's chest heaved with frustration. Unable to out-argue Su Meiniang, she turned to the onlooker, An Zhi Xi. “An Zhi Xi, since you haven’t reincarnated, you know how detestable this vixen is, right? You have to help me scold her!”
An Zhi Xi didn’t speak but her voice rang clear. “I have no interest in your quarrel. Please don’t drag me into it.”
Having failed to rally her ally, Lin Yao Yao suddenly spotted Bai Zhuo at the door. Her eyes lit up as she rushed over, only to be outpaced by Su Meiniang. Su Meiniang quickly wrapped her arms around Bai Zhuo’s right arm, her softness nearly spilling out. She pouted and leaned close to Bai Zhuo’s ear, blowing gently and using a soft, nasal tone to whine, “Bai the Handsome, look at this wicked woman! Hurry and get rid of her!”
“You! You vixen! Shameless!” Lin Yao Yao fumed, her skin flushing redder and losing its previous fairness.
It was known that Bai Zhuo could not only see ghosts but also touch them since birth. With Su Meiniang pressed against his arm, he could almost feel her curves! To his surprise, he sensed a stirring within himself as well. Not wanting to embarrass himself in front of such beauty, he awkwardly withdrew his right hand and walked toward Loli White Peach, picking up the crying girl and asking, “Who made White Peach cry?”
However, Su Meiniang shouted, “You little brat! Let me tell you—either she goes or I go! In this house, it’s either me or her!”
Bai Zhuo wiped Loli's tears away and replied coolly, “Then you should leave!”
Upon hearing this, Lin Yao Yao straightened up with pride, her nostrils flaring. With her lady-like demeanor, she resembled an adorable princess.
Su Meiniang’s eyelids twitched; the nine tails behind her stood upright as she glared like an angry cat. “You ungrateful person! I saved your life, and this is how you repay your savior? I see through you! You are nothing but a White-Eyed Wolf!”
“You haven’t paid rent while Lin Yao Yao has properly paid the deposit and rent… Ghosts! She is my Tenant!”

“Isn’t it just rent?” Su Meiniang exclaimed angrily, pulling something out from her chest and throwing it at Bai Zhuo’s face. “You worldly person! Take this! This is the Soul Banner I stole from the Nuwa Palace fifteen hundred years ago! With this banner, summon a hundred ghosts and command a hundred spirits! This thing will let me stay until you die! Hurry up and drive Lin Yao Yao away!”
What? A Soul Banner stolen from the Nuwa Palace? A good item indeed! Bai Zhuo immediately tore the yellow and white cloth banner off his face, grinning as he accepted it. “Alright, alright, I won’t drive you away. But, Sister Lin is also my tenant! If she can pay the rent, I have no reason to kick her out!” Bai Zhuo said with a cheerful smile. “Come on, we’re all neighbors here~ We see each other all the time, let’s get along well!”
Su Meiniang pointed at Bai Zhuo in fury and turned to An Zhi Xi. “An Zhi Xi! Look at his ugly face, huh? Don’t you know him? Can’t you do something about him?”
An Zhi Xi rolled her eyes at Su Meiniang, exuding charm. “This matter… is yours to deal with. Don’t drag me into it… I’m just here to watch the fun!”

Standing at the door was Ge Shui Lian, who possessed the First Yin-Yang Eye. Instead of being afraid, she moved closer to Su Meiniang and poked one of her tails with curiosity, her eyes sparkling as she asked, “Um… Fox Sister, your tail is so cute! Too bad I can’t touch it…”
Meanwhile, Yang Liu and Miao Xiaoqi were just ordinary people, looking utterly confused as they exchanged glances with each other, completely bewildered…
