"Go." Ming Junwei laughed as he slapped him lightly, whispering, "She shouldn't be lying. The scale here is larger than we imagined. Our priority is to find Song Yao and the others. We need to be cautious." 0

"Do we have any plans?" Xiao Wei, like Jin Bo, was more of an action-oriented person; strategizing wasn't their strong suit. 0

"I think the defenses here aren't very strong. They've all been intimidated by this grim place," Ming Junwei said, rolling his eyes. "First, let's figure out how many places there are on this level that are holding living people." 0

As they spoke, the four of them passed through the densely packed prison area. The inmates in the cells on either side seemed completely unaware of what was happening behind them. When they saw the four approaching, they shrank back in fear, seemingly terrified of being dragged out by them. They checked each cell one by one, finding faces of all kinds—men, women, and children—but most were young adults. 0

Xiao Wei whispered, "Should we let them all out? Create some chaos?" 0

"No, we need to blend into the crowd before anyone notices us. If things get chaotic here, we'll be exposed," Ming Junwei initially considered this idea but realized that the current situation didn't allow for such risks; they needed to find their companions first. 0

"What should I do then?" Wheat asked nervously. "You all look somewhat alike, but I don't resemble that woman at all." The young girl seemed to struggle with her high heels, occasionally stumbling. 0

"Don't worry, we're here for you," Ming Junwei reassured her with a pat on her frail shoulder. "Just act natural." 0

A few minutes later, the four Counterfeits stood at the end of a curved corridor—the same entrance they had come through just hours earlier. There were no guards at the door; the double iron doors were cold and unguarded, lacking glass or locks—completely casual. 0

"Are you ready?" Ming Junwei pulled out the Combat Knife from his boot and tucked it into his sleeve. "Try not to fire your weapons; it's best if we can handle things quietly." 0

"Understood." Xiao Wei and Jin Bo exchanged a knowing smile, both having something bulging in their sleeves. Only Wheat looked worried, clutching her folder tightly against her chest, her back damp with sweat. 0

The iron door wasn't as heavy as it appeared; the protruding handle felt icy to the touch. With a firm push of his arm, the door swung open. Behind it lay the dimly lit corridor they had entered earlier—a stark contrast to the prison area they had just traversed; in terms of lighting alone, this place felt even more like a prison. 0

The corridor was long and empty on both sides, with a Dueling Room about a hundred meters ahead, the place where they had previously been asked for their names and ages. That day, there had been many people in the corridor, most of them like them, being escorted by men in black and waiting to be interrogated. Today, however, it seemed quiet; there was no sound coming from the Dueling Room. The four of them felt somewhat puzzled, their earlier tension easing considerably as the sound of Wheat's high heels echoed in the long hallway, making it seem as if they were the only four living beings in this place. 0

They soon reached the end of the corridor where it formed a T-junction. There were no signs on either side, and at the end stood an iron door identical to those used for prisoners. They did not see any patrolling Security personnel. 0

"We should have brought a map," Ming Junwei sighed quietly, realizing this oversight was troublesome. Which way should they go? 0

"Brother Ming, how about we split up and look?" Jin Bo suggested after checking the Dueling Room, which contained only a few benches. 0

"No, if we split up now, it would be disastrous," Ming Junwei rejected Jin Bo's proposal. After pondering for a moment, he pointed to the right: "It’s all the same; let’s go!" 0

Just as he spoke, the iron door at the end of the right corridor suddenly swung open, and several men in black appeared pushing a food cart into the hallway. 0

"Damn," Jin Bo cursed under his breath and looked to Ming Junwei for guidance. 0

"Relax," Ming Junwei urged, taking a deep breath as they all coldly watched the approaching figures. Their eyes involuntarily drifted toward the food cart being pushed by the team, and they swallowed hard. 0

They hadn’t had a proper meal in days; seeing the food cart surprised them somewhat, but their hunger clearly outweighed their astonishment. 0

"We should have eaten before coming out," Jin Bo murmured softly as his stomach growled loudly. 0

The food cart was quite ordinary, consisting of two tiers with a large metal basin on each level. The basins were covered with plastic wrap, and steam rose from the food inside, creating a thin layer of mist. 0

"Hot meals?!" Xiao Wei exclaimed in disbelief. Thinking about how pitifully they had been eating sporadically outside made him glance at the delivery team. Damn it! Even the Experiment could have hot meals! And they were being supplied regularly! 0

Ming Junwei fought against the urge to rob the food cart as he watched the Delivery Team approach closer. When they reached the T-junction, they glanced at them briefly before turning and continuing on their way. They were indeed delivering meals to the prisoner area—there were ten members in total with twenty basins of food that looked incredibly appetizing! 0

The four hungry individuals watched the Delivery Team disappear behind the iron gate when Ming Junwei suddenly slapped his forehead and hurried after them. 0

Jin Bo was taken aback and chuckled, "Brother Ming, are you really that desperate for food?" 0

"Idiot! Those fools are still in the cage!" Xiao Wei quickly realized, drawing his knife and following suit. He turned back to Wheat and instructed, "You stay inside." 0

"Oh, okay." Wheat knew his combat skills would only cause trouble, so he quickly ran into the empty Dueling Room to hide. 0

"Brother Ming, use your gun," Xiao Wei rationally pressed down on Ming Junwei's hand that was reaching for his blade. "There are ten of them; we don't have time." 0

"Who said that?" Jin Bo caught up from behind, rolling his eyes as he snatched the Combat Knives from both of them and dashed through the door. Ming Junwei and Xiao Wei were startled and tried to stop him, but it was too late; they could only grab their Rifles and follow him in. 0

The three of them entered almost simultaneously, but Jin Bo's knife was clearly faster than their legs. 0

As the two followed closely behind him into the iron gate, they were about to raise their guns to shoot when they saw Jin Bo already striding over a corpse lying in a pool of blood, like a wild goose, leaping into the arched corridor. 0

Ming Junwei glanced at the black-clad figure sprawled on the ground, noticing only the hilt of a knife protruding from his back. Jin Bo's strike had been heavy and precise, clearly a fatal blow; the black-clad man didn't make a sound before collapsing on the spot. 0

"This kid really has what it takes to be an assassin," Xiao Wei sighed in admiration. He noticed that the Combat Knife strapped to the corpse's boot was missing; evidently, Jin Bo had stabbed through his heart but didn’t have time to retrieve his knife. Instead, he casually took a new one and continued forward. 0

Though they admired him, neither of them naively believed that Jin Bo could handle the remaining nine opponents alone. They kept moving without slowing down. 0
