Neil focused his gaze intently on a huge stone conference hall through the observation instrument. Representatives from all sides had taken their seats around a massive round table, their faces filled with tension and anticipation. 0

Agnes's representative, Elder Alang, immediately pointed out the core issue. "We gathered here for peace. Yet, the knights of Cyrus continue to harass our borders. What irony." 0

Cyrus's representative, Irina, unwilling to back down, said, "We also have evidence showing Agnes has a secret plan to disrupt our supply line. What kind of peace is this?" 0

The host, Rosen, tried to calm both sides, "Please, let's stay calm. We also want to hear from Neutral country and other factions." 0

A diplomat from Neutral country said, "Once the war breaks out, it will affect the entire region. You should proceed with caution." 0

"Caution is necessary, but action is also required," Irina responded. 0

Elder Alang sneered, "So-called action, is it the kind of destruction that Cyrus would do?" 0

The atmosphere in the meeting room remained heavy, and the candlelight on the magnificent candelabra cast unusually elongated shadows of everyone. 0

Host Rosen cleared his throat: "Now we will discuss the trade and economic conflicts between the two sides. First, we need to understand Cyrus's views on the economic sanctions against Agnes." 0

Irina stood up: "The sanctions are aimed at Agnes and their opaque dealings with suspicious forces. We cannot risk our economic security for trade." 0

Alang responded displeasedly, "Who are these so-called 'suspicious forces'? Does Cyrus's so-called economic security mean monopolizing resources and controlling prices?" 0

Irina retorted, "We have the right to protect our citizens and resources." 0

Valas, representing the Neutral country, inserted: "Trade sanctions ultimately affect ordinary people. Can we consider lifting the sanctions and seeking a third party for review?" 0

Rosen turned to Alang: "Elder Alang, what is your opinion on this suggestion?" 0

Alang pondered for a moment, "I can consider it, but after the sanctions are lifted, Cyrus needs to stop the military actions at the border." 0

Irina smiled nervously, "What do you mean by military actions? Protecting our borders?" 0

Alang solemnly said, "The recent assassinations of border guards are not just about 'protection'." 0

Just then, a messenger stumbled into the meeting room, shouting, "Urgent news! Major conflict at the border!" 0

Rosen interrupted him: "It's obvious that we can't solve any problems here, but let's at least agree not to let the situation worsen." 0

Alang and Irina looked at each other and then nodded together: "That's settled." 0

Neil understands that this is just a superficial reconciliation. In reality, this meeting may have exacerbated the conflict between the two sides. 0

Neil stared at the display screen in front of the observation window. When he saw the representatives of Cyrus and Agnes return to their respective countries, he couldn't help but bite his lip. After the meeting ended, the lingering tension did not dissipate, and it seemed that all parties were accelerating their actions, making the situation even more worrisome. 0

At Cyrus, Queen Irina pushed open the heavy door of the war conference room and quickly walked to one end of the long table. She tapped the table, silencing the room of advisors and generals, who listened intently to her command. "I want the alert level of all border outposts raised to level three, and immediately send someone to gather intelligence on Agnes." Neil, through the observation device, saw that Cyrus's soldiers had already begun gathering in the border area adjacent to Agnes, causing a tightness in his chest. 0

Switching observation targets to Agnes, it was clear that the elder Alang was also plotting something. He sat at an exquisite wooden table, with maps and various reports in front of him. Neil saw his furrowed brow and serious expression, followed by a series of stern instructions to his advisors and generals. "We need to strengthen psychological warfare, while ensuring that our spies can safely infiltrate Cyrus." What chilled Neil the most was hearing Alang say at the end, "In this war, if they dare to upset the balance, I will make them understand the cost of encroaching on us." 0

Neil continued to stare at the observation device, and the words "I want them to know the cost of violating us" pierced his heart like an invisible knife. 0

In Agnes, Elder Alang stood in a huge square paved with stones, with huge braziers burning around the perimeter. People from all corners of the city gathered here, their faces showing various expressions—anger, fear, anticipation. Alang raised the staff in his hand, with a glowing gem embedded at the top. His voice cut through the crowded square, echoing between the ancient stone buildings. 0

"Siblings, we can no longer sit idly by! Ever since those invaders Cyrus set foot on our land, our fields have become barren, our wells have become murky. They not only took away our resources, but also insulted our spirits and ancestors!" Every word of Alang felt as heavy as a stone, striking at the softest parts of people's hearts. 0

The crowd was inspired by his words, and a loud cry and fervent drumming erupted. Alang looked at the crowd before him, knowing that he had ignited an unstoppable fire. Like a true leader, he led his people down a path filled with hatred and hostility. 0

Neil saw this scene through the observation device, and even though he was in a distant future, he could feel the rolling emotions. This was not just a political struggle, but a social upheaval that could trigger widespread conflict. 0

On the other side, in Cyrus's palace, Queen Irina had just walked out of the war council room, which was adorned with heavy curtains and delicate wall paintings. Her personal guard quickly walked up to her and handed her a parchment scroll sealed with wax. 0

Irina broke the wax seal, quickly flipped through the report, then tightly grasped it, her eyes turning cold. She turned and walked to the window, looking down at the bustling citizens below and the distant city walls. 0

"Summon the ministers and generals," she ordered through gritted teeth. "This report shows that Agnes is actively spreading rumors and false information against us. They dare to say that we are resource plunderers and even defame our deities." 0

She walked back into the war conference room, her expression telling everyone present that this was a deadly serious war. "We must act immediately, consolidate public support, and strengthen border control. This is not just a war, but a war concerning faith, honesty, and trust." 0

In these two worlds, Neil knew that he was not just on a simple observation mission, but in a historical event that could change destiny. 0
