"Everyone, please quiet down! I have an announcement to make. This is my long-lost daughter, Soo Yingying. Starting today, I will be transferring twenty percent of Liu Group's shares to her."
The words fell like a boulder into still water, creating ripples of shock. But what was even more surprising was when the man continued,
"Today, there is another piece of good news: the marriage between my daughter Soo Yingying and the eldest son of the the Sun Family."
He turned to me with an apologetic expression.
"I'm sorry, Yingying. I know this sudden news might be hard for you to accept, but your mother and I have carefully chosen a good match for you. Sun Fan is a fine young man; you two should get to know each other better."
I nodded, trying to ignore the various scrutinizing gazes around me and the venomous stares from the corner that were impossible to overlook.
I looked at my father obediently.
"I trust you, Dad. I will get along well with Sun Fan."
"Good, that's my obedient daughter."
I suppressed the urge to push away the hand resting on my head and nodded dutifully.
With the formalities out of the way, as the host of the banquet, he was soon surrounded by others.
"It's alright, Dad. You go ahead and take care of things," I said thoughtfully before walking towards the balcony with my glass in hand. A flicker of dark light crossed my eyes as I glanced at the two women in the corner.
Stepping out of the noisy crowd, I stood on the balcony, raised my glass, felt the cold breeze against my skin, and gazed at the pitch-black sky.
"Brother, I miss you a little."
Thinking of something, I immediately placed my wine glass on the table and took out the perfume from my pocket, spraying a few puffs over my head.
It felt nice. Leaning against the railing, I reflected on the various experiences I had witnessed after my death in my previous life. Suddenly, I felt that accompanying them in this game was truly exhausting.
"Hey, little bunny, showing your claws now, are we?"
I looked at the newcomer. "Is it you?"
"What? Just a few minutes apart and you don't recognize me anymore, my fiancée?"
The person appeared to be a spoiled rich kid, walking without any grace and speaking in a teasing tone.
I rolled my eyes at him and replied flatly, "If you don't want Su Liangchen to know, just keep talking."
"Hey! You girl, how old are you now? Still acting like a child who loves to tell tales," he said with a playful tone.
"Well, it’s fine. After all, it will be broadcasted on TV. I'm not worried about my brother; it's just your Xiao Xue'er that I'm curious about—how will you explain this?"
I teased him.
Seeing him immediately straighten up with a pleading tone, he said, "Oh dear! Please forgive me! When Xiao Xue'er calls to ask about you, don’t say anything reckless!"
"Hmph! It depends on my mood," I replied, taking a sip of red wine and snorting lightly.
"Alright, enough with the nonsense. How did you suddenly become the long-lost daughter of the Liu Family?"
I looked at the man who had walked up to me, snatching the red wine from my hand with a serious expression.
I glanced at the glass he held, swallowing hard before leaning coldly against the railing.
"Don't tell me that as the young master of the Song Family, you don't even know what the mistress of the Liu Group looks like."
Upon hearing this, he wore a look of sudden realization.
"Oh, I see now! How did I not think of that before?"
"Because you're foolish!"
I shot him an exasperated glance.
"Hey! You little girl! You have no decorum at all."
Then, with concern in his eyes, he looked at me and said, "So you're really planning to go back to the Liu Family? What about the Su Family? Does your brother know?
And it’s not as simple as you think over at the Liu Family. With my reputation out here, who would want to marry their daughter to me? It's just that recently there’s been a crisis in Liu Family Finance that requires our family's assistance."
"Yes, I know all that. Just don’t tell him yet; I’ll go back after I handle things here."
As soon as I finished speaking, a delicate voice came from nearby.
"Ah, I didn't expect that you and Young Master Sun would become so familiar right after meeting."
"Hello, may I ask who you are?"
I leaned against the railing, looking at the woman in front of me, suddenly feeling a craving for green tea.

I wore an expression of sudden realization.
The woman watching us from the side was so furious that her face turned red.

As I looked at the person approaching, I immediately dropped my teasing expression and forced out two tears from the corners of my eyes, putting on a pitiful look.

Seeing my display of weakness, the woman opposite me was a bit surprised but quickly found amusement in her own reaction, and her words became increasingly harsh.
I watched as the woman drew closer, a mocking smile flickering in my eyes before I threw myself into the arms of the newcomer with a terrified expression.
