Heavenly Path, Grade: Artifact, Type: Staff, Level Requirement: 50!
Looking at Heavenly Path on the equipment leaderboard, Yi Tianchen found it hard to calm down. In his hands was Dragon's Roar, a precious spirit weapon with incredible lethality. Now, with Heavenly Path emerging as the pinnacle artifact at the top of the equipment hierarchy, how could he possibly accept this easily?
It was easy to imagine just how terrifying the lethality of an artifact like Heavenly Path would be. Undoubtedly, as the most powerful tool for a mage, this staff would come with unimaginable powerful skills—perhaps even the rumored Forbidden Spell that could wipe out entire groups in an instant!
Not just Yi Tianchen; everyone watching the equipment leaderboard was left dumbfounded.
An artifact!
Everyone still had lingering fears from Yi Tianchen acquiring a spirit weapon. The sudden emergence of an artifact was truly a challenge to their psychological endurance; many were on the verge of cursing and felt an impulse to quit the game.
In no time, discussions about Divine Weapons flooded the Zero Era Game Forum. Countless players expressed their disbelief and shared various reasons for their inability to accept this news. Some even created posts announcing their intention to quit the game, which quickly garnered a long list of supporters. However, in the blink of an eye, those posts were taken down.
Yet bewildered as they were and shocked as they felt, life in the game had to go on.
After gathering his thoughts, Yi Tianchen's gaze returned to Dragon's Roar in his hands. With a determined step, he headed towards the Blacksmith Shop.
“Boss, I want to forge a weapon!” Standing outside the Blacksmith Shop, Yi Tianchen smiled as he presented Dragon's Roar.
The Boss of the Blacksmith Shop was a middle-aged NPC in his forties. He glanced at the weapon and was immediately rendered speechless. “Wow, what a great weapon! It’s been years since I've seen such a fine piece! You truly are talented, young man!”
“Haha…”
Yi Tianchen could only chuckle awkwardly as he handed over Dragon's Roar along with twelve Forging Gemstones. Each forging required four gemstones, and with three chances to forge, conservatively speaking, he should succeed at least once, right? After all, each gemstone had an 80% success rate!
“Excellent weapon, excellent gemstones, hahaha…”

“Sigh, perhaps I’m getting old; many things have slipped my mind!”
The door opened, and the blacksmith Boss stepped out, followed by a short elderly man. This immediately reminded Yi Tianchen of Dwarf Blacksmith Kahn from Maple Village—both were short and aged but had well-defined muscles and eyes that sparkled with charm.
“Young man, my master has agreed to forge it for you,” the blacksmith Boss chuckled as he began preparing for the forging process.
"Thank you very much!"
Yi Tianchen knew that there was a certain mystery behind this. Generally speaking, in situations like this, it meant that the failure rate in the hands of the blacksmith Boss would be significantly reduced, and there might even be a chance for some unexpected gains.
What could he do? After all, the blacksmith had a wealth of experience.
The preparation for forging was simple, and this NPC uncle was clearly skilled. In no time at all, he had everything ready. The Master nodded and placed Dragon's Roar into a furnace. After about ten seconds, he took it out and immediately began hammering away.

Yi Tianchen smiled speechlessly and handed over the Gold Pattern Stone.
As expected, not only was the Boss of the Blacksmith Shop astonished, but even this well-traveled Master was utterly shocked upon seeing the Gold Pattern Stone in Yi Tianchen's hand. His eyes were filled with disbelief, and he became visibly excited.

Once again, the sound of hammering filled the air. It seemed that any scene related to the Blacksmith Shop in this game was accompanied by this beautiful and melodious main theme.
In less than a minute, the Master wiped his sweaty hands and, with a satisfied expression, returned the Dragon's Roar to Yi Tianchen. He expressed his gratitude with a contented tone before being assisted by the Boss of the Blacksmith Shop into the back room. After that, there was no further activity…
