In the forest of Winter Afternoon, warm sunlight filtered through the trees, casting flickering patches of light on the ground. Countless players were chatting loudly and running about, each one busily engaged in their own activities.
In the dense bushes, Yi Tianchen knelt on one knee, gripping the Wild Fury that was thrust into the ground, attentively observing the movements of the wind and grass around him, ready to spring into action at any moment. Beside him, Liu Yuhan skillfully maneuvered her hands, gradually forming a Vine Ring woven from thick foliage.
This Vine Ring could conceal the Red Name Indicator. Just thinking about what had happened last night made Yi Tianchen unable to suppress his admiration. He pondered that since this Vine Ring could hide the Red Name Indicator, it should also be able to mask the System's bounty notice.
This was their first step in executing their plan, and it was the most crucial one. At that moment, the forest was filled with players holding banners proclaiming their intent to hunt Yi Tianchen. The route was based on Liu Yuhan's level progression. To the northeast, eight miles from Maple Village, lay a place called Bloodwood Forest, home to level 22 Elite Monsters; further northeast, fifteen miles away from Maple Village, was Venom Valley, which produced level 25 Elite Monsters.
Soon, the Vine Ring was completed. Liu Yuhan smiled as she approached and placed the Vine Ring on Yi Tianchen's head. In an instant, the bright red indicators were hidden among the tender leaves, causing Yi Tianchen to feel exhilarated as he eagerly glanced upward.

From the side, a mage awkwardly held a staff taller than himself, looking at Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan with confusion.
It suddenly dawned on Yi Tianchen that both of their identifiers were currently obscured, and this person might not recognize him as the wanted Falling Leaves. But if he made a move, it would undoubtedly expose him, and there would be no turning back.
"What are you staring at... never seen anyone before?" Liu Yuhan shot a glare at the mage, inching closer to Yi Tianchen and adopting a familiar demeanor.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" The mage's face turned red with embarrassment as he hurriedly stepped back, repeatedly apologizing. "I didn't mean to intrude; please continue..."
Yi Tianchen shot the mage a speechless glare, feeling an urge to punch him!
Once he confirmed that the mage had left without suspicion, Yi Tianchen let out a long sigh. He slightly turned his head, noticing that Liu Yuhan was still close by, her soft body almost sinking into his embrace, making his heart race.
But as soon as their eyes met, Liu Yuhan's face flushed red. She pushed him away and scolded him, "What are you looking at? Never seen anyone before?"
Yi Tianchen could only stare at the adorable yet domineering Liu Yuhan in silence.
A few minutes later, Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan emerged from the Bush, covered in countless leaves as if they had just survived a battle in the underbrush. They boldly appeared before many players.
With Wild Fury slung over his shoulder, Yi Tianchen took the lead. "Brothers, let’s work hard! That guy Falling Leaves is definitely hiding in some corner of these woods. Find him, and we can level up and get rich—such a good opportunity is hard to come by!"
Yi Tianchen laughed heartily; he certainly knew how to play the part!
Not far away, a tall knight wielding a rusty spear smiled at Yi Tianchen and said, "Well, your style is quite unique, my friend!"
"Hehe, I learned this from my seniors! Only by hiding myself well can I catch Falling Leaves off guard," Yi Tianchen replied calmly, chuckling.
"That's a good point!" The knight laughed heartily, scratching his head. "But in this desolate wilderness, finding someone is like searching for a needle in a haystack; it's nearly impossible!"
Yi Tianchen nodded, putting on an exaggerated expression as if he were acting. "You're right, my friend. With all this time, one could have found a girl to warm their bed!"
"What did you say?" Liu Yuhan snapped angrily.
"No, no! I meant I was taken away by a girl to warm her bed!" Yi Tianchen stammered.
Liu Yuhan was left speechless.
A few minutes later, Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan continued along their designated path. However, they had not yet stepped out of the search range of the other players. Many players were still wandering around, looking here and there with an air of professionalism.
Yi Tianchen marveled inwardly at how leisurely these people were, spending so much time searching without any clues. Didn't they feel it was a waste?
Just as he pondered this, a figure ahead made Yi Tianchen's heart race. He quickly pulled Liu Yuhan aside into some bushes.
The figure approaching them was none other than the swordsman with whom Yi Tianchen had once had a carriage duel!
This swordsman had seen Yi Tianchen before and had even fought him up close; he would definitely recognize him. If spotted, Yi Tianchen knew he would be finished. Cautiously weaving through the low bushes, both Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan felt the tension rise within them.
To make matters worse, it seemed as if the swordsman sensed their presence nearby. He walked directly toward the spot where they were hiding as if guided by some unseen force.
In an instant, Yi Tianchen was filled with the urge to lash out violently.
“Crack…”
Suddenly, a dry branch fell to the ground and snapped underfoot, causing both Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan to freeze, not daring to make a sound.
“Hm?”
The swordsman paused for a moment, quickly noticing the bush they were hiding in. He drew his longsword, a hint of confusion crossing his face as he slowly approached.
At the same time, Yi Tianchen was fully prepared for battle; if they were discovered, Savage Charge would be the first gift he presented to the swordsman!
Just as Yi Tianchen focused intently on the situation, Liu Yuhan gently nudged him and whispered, “Quick, bark like a puppy!”

Taking advantage of the swordsman's distraction, Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan did not waste a moment and continued to explore. After walking a good twenty paces, they turned back to see a wooden-like figure standing still, as if frozen in place.
Once out of the swordsman's sight, Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan quickened their pace. Both were acutely aware that lingering any longer could lead to unforeseen complications, and the tension within them was reaching a breaking point.
Ten minutes later, Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan had left the group of players far behind and could finally catch their breath.
Liu Yuhan's earlier nervous expression faded as she stretched her arms, revealing a charming smile. Tilting her head back and closing her eyes, she took a deep breath, looking utterly content.
In that moment, Yi Tianchen couldn't help but think how wonderful it would be if they could stay like this forever!
Frozen like a statue until Liu Yuhan pinched him hard, Yi Tianchen snapped back to reality. He heard her teasing voice say, "What were you thinking just now? You looked so mischievous!"
"Nothing at all!" Yi Tianchen replied, raising three fingers to the sky.
Liu Yuhan chuckled and waved her hand dismissively. "Forget it. I'm in a good mood now, so I won't hold it against you. Let's hurry; Bloodwood Forest is just ahead!"
Yi Tianchen nodded. "Let's go!"
