The enormous damage numbers soared high, eliciting a gasp from Liu Yuhan.

Yi Tianchen nodded. As he scanned the area, he could see numerous upgrade parties forming. The surge in player numbers had made this place less suitable for leveling up.
However, just as they were about to leave, a cold voice suddenly came from behind them. "Hey kid, you've occupied our territory for so long; it's time to give it back."

Startled, they turned around to find two Swordsman Players and what appeared to be a freshly promoted Apprentice Mage standing before them. The three stood in a neat line, with the two swordsmen emanating a faint blue glow and their weapons shimmering with deep blue light.
From their stance, it seemed that the Apprentice Mage was their leader. What surprised Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan even more was that not far behind the trio stood another seventeen or eighteen players, all watching them intently. The seven closest players had already drawn their weapons and moved closer.
Clearly, they were part of the same group!
"Ha ha, my apologies, we'll just let it go."

The two spoke simultaneously, and Yi Tianchen felt a surge of anger rising from his heart, turning into a fierce determination. In an instant, he unleashed a Jet Black Halo, his figure already soaring upwards. The fury of the wilderness shot forth a beam of golden light, and with a resounding "crack," it struck down heavily on the Apprentice Mage's shoulder.
