Yi Tianchen received a friend request from Liu Yuhan, and a hint of joy appeared in his calm gaze. After adding Liu Yuhan to his friend list, a voice message quickly came through.
"Tianchen, is that you?"
"It's me. Where are you now?" Yi Tianchen replied.
"I just changed jobs and I'm currently learning skills at the Class Change Center..." Liu Yuhan's pleasant voice paused, then she added with a hint of frustration, "But... the cost of learning these skills is so high! I only have 25 Silver Coins."
Yi Tianchen smiled slightly and said, "Just wait for me; I'll come find you right away!"
After ending the voice call, Yi Tianchen pinpointed the location of the Class Change Center on the map and immediately set off. The Southern Wilderness City was gradually becoming lively; after twelve hours of hard work, many players had reached level 10 and successfully completed their job changes.
Running along the path, Yi Tianchen soon entered the majestic Class Change Center, where he immediately heard several players who had just completed their job changes expressing their frustrations about the high costs of skill learning.
Undeniably, there were many others besides Liu Yuhan who were confused by the costs. Even Yi Tianchen himself had only managed to scrape together some wealth thanks to the Identification Technique, which felt somewhat like a bug in the game.
Not far away, in front of the archer job change instructor stood a girl in Black Leather Armor, looking particularly captivating. Her long hair cascaded down her back, her figure was tight, and her proud curves were accentuated by her white legs that seemed to magnetically draw attention.
"Tianchen..."
Liu Yuhan quickly noticed Yi Tianchen's arrival. With a swift movement aided by the archer's impressive speed, she approached him, her eyes flashing with surprise as she said, "Tianchen, you have all your gear ready? Wow... your weapon looks really nice!"

Yi Tianchen smiled slightly and sent a trade request to Liu Yuhan, offering her 15 Silver Coins. After purchasing several potions, he only had 18 Silver Coins left, which was just enough to cover Liu Yuhan's skill learning costs.
Liu Yuhan smiled brightly. "Tianchen, thank you!" Then her expression turned curious as she teased, "How come you have so much money? Did you go rob someone?"
Yi Tianchen paused for a moment; it did feel like he had robbed someone—just in reverse!
"Killed a few bosses to gather it!" Yi Tianchen replied with a faint smile while secretly wondering how Liu Yuhan would react if she knew he could use the Identification Technique.
"Huh? A few bosses?" Liu Yuhan said with envy, pursing her lips into a smile. "How come you're so lucky? You have no idea how many people dream of finding a boss; you're really living in luxury without knowing it!"
"Ha ha, really? That means my luck is quite good!" Yi Tianchen laughed heartily as he gazed at the beautiful girl in front of him. He then reminded her, " Liu Yuhan, you should start learning your skills!"
"Mm!" Liu Yuhan replied, turning to engage in conversation with her instructor. She quickly learned the four basic archer skills currently available: Blazing Arrow, Frost Arrow, Rapid Fire, and Swift Shadow.
After mastering the skills, Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan walked out of the Class Change Center amidst envious glances from others. They then turned into a slightly secluded alleyway.
Liu Yuhan was puzzled and asked, "Tianchen, why are we here?"
Yi Tianchen chuckled mysteriously and said, " Liu Yuhan, I want to give you something. However, this item cannot be used just yet, but once it can be used, it will be astonishing—like a Divine Spirit!"
Liu Yuhan was taken aback. "What is it? Why are you being so mysterious?"
"You'll see for yourself!"
Yi Tianchen stopped teasing and opened a trade window, placing the sealed crossbow onto it. Upon seeing the crossbow, Liu Yuhan was instantly shocked. Although she didn't yet understand its true nature, just the words "sealed" were enough to astonish everyone.
"This bow... why is it in a sealed status?" Liu Yuhan curiously looked at Yi Tianchen, secretly guessing that since he had obtained it, he must know something about it.
To her surprise, Yi Tianchen simply shook his head and said, "Actually, I'm also troubled by this! Besides knowing it's extraordinary, I have no other information."
Liu Yuhan paused for a moment but quickly caught on to the key point in Yi Tianchen's words and asked, "How is it extraordinary?"
"You can see for yourself; this bow has no string. My teacher told me that it suffered severe damage at some point, which is likely why it's sealed. As for its grade..."
Yi Tianchen paused for a moment, his tone becoming slightly excited as he continued, "I can assure you that it's a divine artifact!"
Liu Yuhan was speechless.
"My teacher also mentioned that if we can find a blacksmith named Kahn, we might get some hints about this bow and how to unseal it."
"It sounds impossible!" Liu Yuhan blinked her beautiful eyes, glancing at the crossbow in her hands. Although she felt powerless, there was still a glimmer of hope in her heart.
Yi Tianchen comforted her, "No matter what, at least there's a sliver of hope, right? It won't hurt us to just put it in the Money Exchange. One day, when the opportunity arises, we can take it out."
Liu Yuhan smiled and said, "Yes! That makes sense; we will run into it eventually!" As she spoke, she took another look at the mysterious crossbow before putting it into her bag. She raised her clear eyes to Yi Tianchen and said, "Tianchen, no matter if it works out or not, I have to thank you!"
Looking at the beautiful girl before him, Yi Tianchen leaned against the wall, cradling his Snake Shadow Sword in his arms. He suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of calm and joked, "No need for thanks; just remember to give me a raise. Hehe... now that I have these skills, don't you want to show them off?"
"Sure!"
Liu Yuhan chuckled, holding the bow in her left hand while lightly brushing her hair behind her ear with her right. She smiled brightly and said, "To be honest, for someone who climbed to the top of the Level leaderboard and managed to obtain a hidden class in such a short time, I really want to see your strength!"
Yi Tianchen was taken aback. "Pick a place?"
"Anywhere you like!"
"Let's go!"

On the third floor of King's Studio, in the President's office, Zeng Jian stared intently at a game video replaying on loop.
Upon closer inspection, it was a recording of Yi Tianchen soloing a level 15 Refined Iron BOSS, the Frenzied Goblin Warrior in Cedar Forest. At that moment when Yi Tianchen was battling the BOSS, there happened to be someone from the guild present who seized the opportunity to record this segment.
After watching it over twenty times back and forth, Zeng Jian sat frozen in his chair with a grim expression. Beside him, King’s Eternal, Overlord Batyen, and Invincible King—several guild elders—were equally astonished and shocked. Having just interacted with Yi Tianchen, they found his skills terrifyingly advanced.
"What do you all think?" Zeng Jian asked expressionlessly as he gazed at the ceiling, his tone carrying an undertone of desolation.
"To be honest, I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable about assassins. But in front of him, it's hardly worth mentioning," King’s Eternal sighed as if trapped in Yi Tianchen's shadow.
Overlord Batyen and Invincible King exchanged glances simultaneously, both showing signs of shock in their eyes. While they didn't have much firsthand experience with Yi Tianchen's actual operations, they were well aware of their own First Assassin, King’s Eternal's capabilities.
"He has been a professional player under my command for three years! Damn it, I didn't even realize there was such a talent in the studio!" Listening to the three of them, Zeng Jian slammed his fist on the desk, causing the cup on top to jump and nearly topple over.
"Actually... there's something I'm not sure if I should say!" King's Eternal hesitated for a moment before asking.
"What time is it? Just say what you need to say!" Zeng Jian shot a glare at King's Eternal, urging him to continue.
"After battling him, I had a question, but I didn't have time to verify it. However, from this video, it seems highly likely." King's Eternal forced a bitter smile and said seriously, "Actually, we all know this person; at least... we've heard of his name."
"What do you mean?" Zeng Jian's heart skipped a beat. Hearing King's Eternal say this stirred up a vague sense of foreboding within him.
"I'm sure everyone remembers that three years ago... something shook the Chinese online gaming world. The one known as the God of War, Lutian Shafa, vanished without a trace overnight. And shortly after that incident, Yi Tianchen came to King's Studio!"

King's Eternal sighed, "This is no coincidence!"
Zeng Jian and the others were taken aback but quickly reacted. Zeng Jian furrowed his brow tightly, nearly twisting into a knot. After cursing "damn it," he hurriedly ordered, "Prepare the vehicle!"
