The operation of the Zero Era has its own unique history and setting. For instance, this ancient continent is called Dreamland Continent, named after the Dream Game Company.
It is said that initially, four major races—humans, elves, dwarves, and Undead—coexisted on Dreamland Continent. These races each had their own territories, but peace was elusive as they frequently clashed over land and resources. Until a thousand years ago, an unprecedented war swept across the entire Dreamland Continent.
The instigator of this war was none other than the Undead.
Legend has it that at that time, the Undead Clan was immensely powerful. Humans, elves, and dwarves were forced to form an alliance and ultimately turned the tide in a desperate situation. The Undead Clan was nearly annihilated, leaving only a few remnants hidden in the unknown corners of Dreamland Continent.
This battle, led by humans against the Undead, would later be known as the Holy War!
After the Holy War, both the elf and dwarf races suffered severe losses and were subsequently suppressed by humans. From then on, humans occupied the entirety of Dreamland Continent. The five great cities—Eastern Departure City, Southern Wilderness City, Xiliang City, Northern Cold City, and Sky Feather City—quickly rose to prominence, standing guard over the human territories from their respective corners and the center.
Thus, Dreamland Continent gradually became a unified whole. As time passed silently and underwent countless changes, it eventually evolved into its current state.
Of course, all of this is merely a fabricated background created by the game company and should not be taken seriously. The grand so-called Holy War is only sparsely documented in the game materials; many aspects are glossed over, leaving behind only a faint outline.
Southern Wilderness City stands tall in the southern part of Dreamland Continent!
It is said to be less than fifteen miles from the nearest coastline, making it a beautiful coastal city. It is foreseeable that this city will attract numerous players. However, Yi Tianchen currently has no time to consider these matters; his destination is the highest authority in Southern Wilderness City—the palace!
There is no need to elaborate on the palace's luxury and grandeur. From the moment he stepped through the palace gates until he met with the highest-ranking lord of Southern Wilderness City, Yi Tianchen passed through eighteen checkpoints and traversed over 300 meters of intricately carved corridors, experiencing a total of 28 various rockeries, water features, and jade sculptures.
In Yi Tianchen's words, without a map, he would completely lose himself in this maze-like inner palace!

**Objectives:** Travel to Wolfman Valley, kill 100 werewolves, defeat the Werewolf King, retrieve the Werewolf King's token, and return it to Lord Dolan of Southern Wilderness City to complete the mission.
**Mission Reward:** [Southern Wilderness City Warrior Medal] ×1, experience points, and some reputation points.
**Hidden Reward:** A random piece of class equipment or a Skill Book.

**Black Forest!**
Since Yi Tianchen is currently only level 13, even when opening the large map, he can only see an area within fifteen miles surrounding Southern Wilderness City. After searching fruitlessly on the Zero Era Game Forum, he finally decided to visit the official Zero Era website. After some diligent searching, he found some useful information.
This is a Monster Zone located less than twenty miles outside the West City Gate of Southern Wilderness City. It is home to level 25 Dark Magic Imps and Black Magic Spiders. Given Yi Tianchen's current level and strength, he would certainly struggle against these creatures; however, with careful maneuvering, he could avoid them.
With determination in his heart, Yi Tianchen set out alone from the western gate of Southern Wilderness City.
The moonlight was dim, casting a grave-like silence over the forest, occasionally pierced by eerie, bone-chilling cries. Poor Yi Tianchen found himself alone, navigating through the woods, his heartbeat echoing louder than his footsteps.
Upon entering the Monster Zone, Yi Tianchen had to adhere to his initial plan, continuously widening the distance as he maneuvered around. After nearly half an hour, illuminated by the feeble moonlight, he suddenly spotted a corner of a stone tower peeking through the trees ahead.
Yi Tianchen froze for a moment. The presence of a structure could mean there were NPCs nearby.
With that thought, he felt as if he had discovered a new world. He paid no mind to the thorns underfoot and dashed toward it in a frenzy.
However, he quickly sensed something was amiss. An invisible yet overwhelming aura surged from the direction of the tower. Straining to listen, he could hear the clashing sounds of weapons and see flashes of skill lights flickering in the dim air.
Someone was fighting up ahead?
Yi Tianchen was taken aback; there seemed to be only five players above level ten at this point, so it couldn't possibly be players battling here. If that was the case, could it be NPCs?
In an instant, curiosity surged within him as he cautiously crept forward, slowly approaching the stone tower.
At that moment, Yi Tianchen realized this was a tower covered in incomprehensible and obscure magical inscriptions. The fluctuations of the two auras intensified, making it difficult for him to breathe, as if invisible hands were tightly gripping his throat.
Without making a sound, Yi Tianchen carefully concealed himself behind a small hillock and slowly peeked out. The scene before him left him utterly speechless!
