Chapter One Hundred Forty-Eight: Zhan Tianyue (Part Four)
A tremendous impact continued to strike at a single point, and even the Military Tempered Glass, capable of resisting bullets fired from an AK-47, began to show signs of giving way. Finally, with a series of cracking sounds, the windshield of a military Hummer completed its mission and shattered completely.
Fortunately, preparations had been made in advance. All members of Dragon Hall were seated in the passenger seats of the military Hummer. Even though the tempered glass had shattered, the cushioning from the seats ensured that they suffered no harm.
As the rain of arrows subsided, aside from Ye Huan's military Hummer, nearly all other vehicles had been shot to pieces by the Crossbows, especially with numerous bolts embedded in the engines of those Hummers. Thankfully, Ye Huan's Hummer had a specially sealed and reinforced roof; otherwise, even though the members of Dragon Hall were professionals, they would likely have met a grim fate.
Sitting inside the Military Hummer and scanning the surroundings, Ye Huan realized they could not allow those on the city wall to continue their assault. He pressed the horn twice in quick succession. The flashing lights stood out prominently in the area filled only with military Hummers, clearly visible to many members of Dragon Hall.
Rushing out of their vehicles despite the attacks from ordinary longbows, the members of Dragon Hall swiftly pulled several flashbangs from their waists. Utilizing their professional physiques, they threw them nearly a hundred meters away in a perfect arc, landing precisely on the city wall!
“Ow! My eyes! My eyes!”
“Help! Someone save me!”
Never before had they been so blinded that they couldn't even open their eyes. As the flashbangs landed on the walls of Tianyue City and erupted into dazzling light, many Koryo Soldiers screamed in agony, causing chaos on the walls that rivaled the earlier bombardment from three hundred RPG Rocket Launchers against the city gates!
With the flashbangs thrown, the members of Dragon Hall did not remain idle. Following Ye Huan's previous instructions, they hurled M67 fragmentation grenades up onto the wall. This time, it was not merely about being unable to see; wherever an M67 grenade landed, it was certain that many soldiers defending Tianyue City would fall, their bodies riddled with shrapnel deeply embedded in their flesh. Those fortunate enough to survive found it impossible to extract the fragments from their bodies and bled profusely with every movement, appearing utterly tragic.
However, these people were all from Goryeo, and Ye Huan had no interest in sparing these little ones. Instead, considering the safety of the Dragon Hall members, he specifically instructed them to concentrate their incendiary bombs and throw them at the areas of the city wall where the Siege Crossbows were more densely positioned. Instantly, a raging fire erupted on the city wall, and the flames shot up so high that they could be seen clearly from the other side of the wall.
After finally recovering his vision from the effects of the Flashbang, Jin Zhengyang realized that it had been about ten minutes since Ye Huan and the others arrived. Seeing the fire blazing on the city wall made him feel like crying without tears. "When have there ever been standards for prisoners of war?"

Due to Ye Huan's loud voice, half of Tianyue City near the north heard him clearly. The soldiers couldn't help but discuss among themselves, adding to the chaos already ignited by the fire on the city wall. Jin Zhengyang's mind went blank with anger; he couldn't even think of a plan anymore as he gritted his teeth and said, "You think such a small number can surround us? Upon receiving Jin Zhengyang's order, several generals beside him chose to leave and went to gather troops from other walls. Little did they know that just as those generals left, in the northeast direction of Tianyue City, Ye Huan and his group kicked up a cloud of dust on another road next to the official road. Even the ground seemed to tremble slightly, instantly drawing Ye Huan's and Jin Zhengyang's attention simultaneously.
"Haha, it must be our Goryeo army arriving! With internal and external support, let’s see how you arrogant fellows meet your end. Those military Hummers are all mine!"
A glimmer of excitement flashed across his face. After seeing reinforcements arriving, Jin Zhengyang was no longer in a hurry to deal with Ye Huan and his group; instead, he focused on those military Hummers. It was clear that he had already regarded Ye Huan and his companions as fish in a barrel!
On the other hand, Ye Huan stood beside a military Hummer, clearly sensing countless people rushing toward them from afar. He couldn’t help but lament how unfortunate it was that they happened to encounter Goryeo’s forces gathering at Tianyue City. He angrily spat out two words at his Dragon Hall members: "Attack!"
Hearing Ye Huan's command, all three hundred members of Dragon Hall quickly retrieved their modified M4A1 assault rifles from the Military Hummers and charged toward Tianyue City's twenty-five-meter-high walls. In less than five seconds, they easily covered a distance of one hundred meters and reached beneath the city wall.
"Hmph, do you really think this small number of people can break through my Tian Yue? Dream on! I want to see just how many legs you have to climb over this twenty-five-meter-high city wall..."
With a cold laugh, Jin Zhengyang watched the members of Dragon Hall below the city wall. He was not worried at all that they would breach the city gates. Just moments ago, during the attack by the Siege Crossbow, the logistics team inside had already blocked the gates with large stones prepared in advance. There was no way they could get in; it was nothing but a daydream.
Holding onto his own thoughts, he considered whether he should say a few words to persuade them to surrender. However, before he could speak, Jin Zhengyang witnessed a scene that would be etched in his memory for a lifetime...
