Beast Inner Pill?
Since Weiyang had killed a large number of Fifth-Level Magical Beasts in the Northern Liang Mountain Range, he had never lacked for such things. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small bag, tossing it towards Ye Huan.
Receiving the bag, Ye Huan opened it to find it contained the inner cores from the Black-Bellied Bear Spider, which he had previously killed using a Gatling gun in the Northern Liang Mountain Range. There were at least six or seven of them packed inside.
Without hesitation, he took one and popped it into his mouth. Not bothering with pleasantries, Ye Huan collected the remaining Beast Inner Pills and resumed his summoning efforts. Before long, a large pile of grenades was stacked up.
Once he finished this task, Ye Huan summoned a Hummer for Weiyang to learn how to drive. He then instructed Zhang Ren to make two holes in the roof and passenger seat of the previously summoned Military Hummer, beginning modifications to mount two M60 machine guns on top.
As Ye Huan worked on the modifications, Weiyang figured out which was the throttle and which was the brake. Satisfied, Ye Huan began arming the three of them.
Ten minutes later, under a blue sky with white clouds, three cool-looking men stood outside Northern Liang City. They were all dressed in black military uniforms from Sky Star City, wearing leather boots and black sunglasses. Each held an M4A1 assault rifle, with various styles of grenades strapped to their waists and a Desert Eagle tucked into their boots. Next to them was a military Hummer equipped with two M60 machine guns, resembling mercenaries from the twenty-first century.
With a wave of his hand, Ye Huan signaled for them to get into the military Hummer. With Weiyang driving, Zhang Ren and Ye Huan each took control of an M60 machine gun as they headed toward the city gate of Northern Liang City.
It must be said that genius is genius; no amount of weight could change the fact that Weiyang was a prodigy. Compared to Ye Huan's control over vehicles, after just ten minutes behind the wheel, Weiyang drove smoothly, shifting gears more adeptly than someone with years of experience. However, Ye Huan wasn't worried about Weiyang driving recklessly; after all, this military Hummer was summoned by him and could return to his book with just a thought.
Yet, it seemed that Ye Huan had forgotten one thing: the nature of the Military Hummer itself. While it might not be an issue in the twenty-first century to drive such a vehicle, how would ordinary citizens and soldiers react to its sudden appearance in this world filled with horses?
Before they even reached the city gate, a sharp-eyed soldier rubbed his eyes in disbelief and pulled over another soldier beside him, pointing towards where Ye Huan and the others were located. Confused, he asked, "What is that?"
"Uh, I don't know either... Could it be some kind of magical beast from the Northern Liang Mountain Range?" The soldier who was pulled over also rubbed his eyes in surprise. Imagining what kind of magical beast it might be, he finally asserted after a moment's thought: "It's definitely a magical beast! You stay here; I'll go get someone to help!"
After saying that, the fellow dashed up the city wall to report to his superior. It was no wonder he thought this way; Northern Liang City was situated beneath the Northern Liang Mountain Range, so it was not surprising to encounter various magical beasts.
However, coincidentally, upon returning from Sky Star City to Northern Liang City, Gong Weiqi was also bored and decided to patrol the city wall. He happened to overhear what the soldier said and couldn't help but look down. When he saw Ye Huan's head peeking out from above the Military Hummer, his eyes nearly popped out in shock. He wondered what the Break Emperor Squad was doing; weren't they supposed to eliminate Ye Huan? How could Ye Huan have made it here?
Before he could think further about going down to check, another person rushed up the city wall. It was one of the members of the Break Emperor Squad. After scanning the area, he noticed Gong Weiqi's presence and quickly approached him, saying, "General, our mission has failed. Ye Huan is simply too strong, and the creatures he summoned are beyond comprehension—none of them we have ever seen before. Moreover..."
"Moreover what?" As he listened to his subordinate's report, images of Ye Huan wielding a Desert Eagle in the Sky Star City military camp flashed through Gong Weiqi's mind, and an ominous premonition began to rise within him.
"And this time on our way back, Ye Huan chased us down relentlessly. By my calculations, the Break Emperor Squad has lost at least forty members..." The Break Emperor Squad member spoke hesitantly while observing Gong Weiqi's expression, fearing that Gong Weiqi would fly into a rage upon hearing this news.
Perhaps this member's guess was correct; upon learning this information, Gong Weiqi's hands clenched into fists, veins bulging on his hands. Yet his handsome face remained devoid of any expression, revealing his deep-seated cunning—his emotions hidden from view.
After hesitating for a moment, Gong Weiqi abandoned his plan to go down personally and instructed the Break Emperor Squad member, "Go and relay my orders: gather all soldiers in Northern Liang City to guard this city gate. Do not let them in. I want to see just what abilities Ye Huan possesses!"
"Yes!" The member hurriedly left the city wall to convey the orders. Gong Weiqi looked down with a cold smile creeping onto his face as he murmured softly, "Strong? I want to see just how strong you are and whether you can take on thousands alone!"
Unbeknownst to Gong Weiqi watching from above, Ye Huan sat in the vehicle, idly looking around when he quickly sensed something was off. At the city gate, many soldiers were pouring out from within the city, each armed with long spears meant for dealing with cavalry and carrying bows on their backs. Clearly, they were coming for Ye Huan and his group. This prompted Ye Huan to warn Weiyang, "Weiyang, be careful when we pass through; I feel like they are prepared."
"Prepared? They clearly intend to attack us!" Weiyang exclaimed as he saw soldiers at the city gate raising their bows through the car window. While driving, he tried tapping on the front window of the vehicle to test if it could withstand arrows. To his astonishment, despite using all his strength, he couldn't even make the Military Hummer's windshield shake!
This scene almost made Ye Huan laugh out loud; after all, what kind of glass was installed on a military Hummer? It was bulletproof! It was twice as hard as steel plates with equivalent defensive capabilities! Unless hit multiple times in the same spot by powerful firearms like an AK from just a few meters away could it be penetrated; there was no way it would be so easily broken by Weiyang.
However, Ye Huan couldn't be bothered to explain this to Weiyang. In his eyes, whether those soldiers would obstruct his path was what truly mattered. Thinking that those people were also soldiers of Huaxia Nation gave Ye Huan an odd feeling for some reason.
Just as Ye Huan pondered whether he should take action if those soldiers really blocked his way, many soldiers in front aligned their spears toward the direction of the Military Hummer. Inside the wide city gate that spanned nearly ten meters, even more soldiers surged out with their spears slung behind them while holding longbows in hand. They aimed at the Military Hummer and unleashed a volley of arrows that soared through nearly a hundred meters of distance, striking against the surface of the Military Hummer with loud thuds.
"Stop the vehicle! We haven't even made a move yet, and they're already attacking us? Counterattack! Quickly..." As a feathered arrow came crashing down through a hole in the roof of the Military Hummer, missing Ye Huan's thigh by mere centimeters, he couldn't care less about who they were anymore. He shouted at Weiyang and Zhang Ren, then stood up amidst the rain of arrows, his hand finding the trigger of an M60 machine gun, and he pulled it without hesitation.

Thus, as soon as the Military Hummer came to a halt, two M60 machine guns and an M4A1 assault rifle erupted with dazzling flames!
In front of Ye Huan, the 2012 Arms Manual lay quietly, continuously supplying ammunition to the two M60 machine guns. As for Weiyang, the ten or so M4A1 rifles placed in the back seat weren't meant for him?
With the sound of gunfire ringing out, at the City Gate, after being swept by machine gun fire, not a single soldier holding any weapon remained unscathed; anyone still standing was turned into a sieve! When Ye Huan saw soldiers still rushing out from the City Gate, he wasted no time grabbing two M67 fragmentation grenades and throwing them. After two loud explosions, the city wall visibly shook, and there were no soldiers left in sight—only corpses remained.
"Quickly, charge in!" Seeing that Northern Liang City's City Gate had fallen into a brief lull, Ye Huan shouted to Weiyang. This made Weiyang feel like a coachman at that moment; however, what he didn't know was that in later times, those sitting in the driver's seat would have a unique title: 'Driver'...
Fortunately, despite his frustration, Weiyang's feet moved swiftly. He pressed down on the throttle and shifted gears several times; the Military Hummer shot forward like an arrow released from a bow and quickly reached beneath the city gate. Under normal circumstances, the lord's mansion would be located right in the center of town. Even the dilapidated Sky Star City still retained its lord's mansion in its center; how much more so for Northern Liang City? If they could reach there, Ye Huan was eighty percent sure he could find Gong Weiqi through Northern Liang City's lord. That's why he urged Weiyang to keep driving forward.
However, Ye Huan never anticipated that Gong Weiqi was currently on top of the city wall watching every move below him; he could even see Ye Huan's expression clearly...
After sweeping with the M60 machine guns, an open space quickly appeared on the streets inside Northern Liang City's gate. Weiyang drove the Military Hummer mercilessly over the bodies of those soldiers—using a classic phrase: 'Those who block me shall die!'
As they sped along the street, Weiyang occasionally glanced through the rearview mirror and noticed a large number of soldiers chasing after them. Without thinking twice, he grabbed a few flashbangs and smoke grenades from beside him and tossed them to Ye Huan, signaling him to throw them out. Realizing that Weiyang understood their purpose better than he did himself left Ye Huan stunned. He quickly pulled off the safety pin and threw them out through the window of the Military Hummer's roof to hinder those soldiers' advance.
Satisfied with himself, Weiyang pressed down on the throttle again. With black smoke billowing from the exhaust pipe of the Military Hummer, it sped toward Northern Liang City's central area. Meanwhile, on top of the city wall, after giving some instructions to a subordinate, Gong Weiqi descended from the wall and led his men to pursue Ye Huan and his group...
