Chapter 256: The Pain of Reality
Li Xiaonan took a deep breath and said, "Chen Mo, I remember you, but... how did you end up like this?"

With a loud bang, he quickly shut the door and dashed into the bathroom to put on some clothes. Taking a deep breath, he opened the door once more.
The woman remained at the entrance, giving Li Xiaonan a slight nod.
"Um... can I help you?" he stammered.
"Is Li Xiaonan here?" The woman's voice was soft and pleasant.
Li Xiaonan furrowed his brow and replied, "That's me. May I ask who you are?"
"This is my business card. May I come in to talk?"

He grimaced, but his gaze suddenly caught the woman's name—Su Mei!
He froze for a moment, looking up at her, his pupils dilating in shock. With another loud bang, he slammed the door shut again.
Leaning against the door, he gasped for breath.
"Su Mei? What a coincidence, that woman is also named Su Mei!"
He casually dropped the business card and rummaged through his backpack until he found a tattered wallet.
