In this world, occupied by countless terrifying monsters, the Barbarians lived a life of hardship, hunted by those fearsome beasts, rather than hunting monsters as they do now.
In times of crisis, a powerful figure among the Barbarians stepped forward and tamed a fierce giant beast—the Nine-Headed Serpent, the Black Dragon, the Behemoth, the Thunderous Earth Beast, and others—turning them into his pets. He fought battles across the land with them, clearing away the threats to the Barbarians' survival and becoming a deity worshipped by countless Barbarians.
Now, facing the threat of extinction once again, a powerful force descended and annihilated countless monsters.
At this moment, the giant beast soaring in the sky was regarded by them as the Barbarian God, a divine being worthy of soul-deep worship!
A hum resonated through the air.
Subtle waves spread in all directions, and from above the heads of thousands of Barbarians emerged faint Purple Light Dots that merged into an invisible web in the sky.
A whale-like giant beast over fifty meters long slowly descended, landing atop the heads of many Barbarians.
Then, a staircase appeared from the beast's belly, and out walked a human with Silver Long Hair!
A human?
Noes stared blankly at the figure, never expecting that it would be a human stepping out instead of the legendary Barbarian God.
He was not mistaken; there was a significant difference between humans and Barbarians. The most fundamental distinction was that humans were delicate and tender-skinned. Even powerful human warriors appeared so to the Barbarians.
Moreover, this human had silver long hair, and from a distance, it seemed as though their skin was faintly glowing, making it difficult for him to determine their gender.
"I am Yuan. Submit to me!"
The figure emerged from the staircase within the belly of the colossal beast, Ling Kong walking through the air, radiating an endless might that shone brighter than the sun. The terrifying pressure felt like burning flames, making anyone who dared to gaze upon him feel a suffocating heat.
Source?
Noes lowered his head, a term suddenly surfacing in his mind—Source Lord!
Not long ago, dozens of Barbarian clans had united to form an unprecedented Barbarian Legion, charging through the Twilight Forest and invading the Harrison Empire with unstoppable force.
Yet, in just the first encounter, they were utterly annihilated by that god-like human.
One person had suppressed a Barbarian Legion of five hundred thousand!
If it weren't for the firsthand accounts of returning tribesmen, he would have found it hard to believe such a fact.
But it was true; after the Barbarian Legion was crushed, each participating clan was forcibly relocated closer to the borders of the human empire, becoming vassal races.
He shouted loudly, "You are... Source Lord?"
"I am. Submit, or you will meet the same fate as those Radiation Monsters."
The voice was not loud, yet it clearly reached the ears of all Barbarians, igniting their anger.
In their time of existential crisis, this being had struck down countless monsters, but he was not their savior; he sought to make them his slaves!
This result was not what they had wanted.
Noes's muscles bulged, veins popping out as his already imposing figure grew even more robust. His bones creaked as he exerted himself to the limit, defiantly raising his head to roar:
"Barbarians will never be slaves!"
They could kneel before the Barbarian God, for that was the deity they believed in, the one who connected them to their most distant ancestors.
But they would never submit to a human, no matter how powerful that person might be!
Never!
"Oh, I am not asking you; I am giving you an order." Xiar's overwhelming presence intensified, and a white fox appeared on his shoulder, its spirit light shining brightly.
Purple light swirled in those Fox Eyes, transforming into two beams of light invisible to the naked eye but felt as a tremor in the soul, instantly reaching Noes.
Boom!
The Chieftain of the Raging Bear Clan, the strongest Barbarian Warrior, knelt before Xiar and solemnly declared, "I, Noes, lead the Raging Bear Clan in submission to the great Source Lord!"
The surrounding clansmen stared at him in shock, unable to comprehend how he could betray his words so suddenly.
"Ah, your will is quite strong," Xiar remarked with mild surprise as he looked at Noes.
A mere ordinary barbarian, un-evolved and struggling, was nothing more than an ant flaunting its strength beneath Xiar's feet. Naturally, he wouldn't waste time on threats or intimidation.
What surprised him was that the opponent actually resisted the attack of Firefly's Absolute Domination.
Absolute Domination, Firefly's strongest single-target attack, could completely control a target, turning them into a Servant.
Now, with the enhancement of countless Lights of Belief, Firefly's mental strength had surpassed that of most Third-Level Spirit Masters, coming dangerously close to that of a Disaster Beast.
The fact that this ordinary barbarian could withstand it—even if only for less than a second—was still a form of resistance.
"Very well, to submit to me is your greatest honor," Xiar said, a hint of approval in his tone.
He then tossed a Radiance down to the Moon Child, who respectfully held it and approached Noes.
"Drink this, and you will gain immense power—power enough to qualify as my servant."
The twenty-meter-tall beast bent down, presenting its palm—larger than Noes himself—where a vial lay quietly amidst silver-gray scales. There was also something black within it.
Noes jumped onto the Moon Child's palm, took the vial from above, and without hesitation, drank it in one gulp.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
His already powerful body among the Barbarians surged again, growing from three meters to five meters tall. He let out a roar as his aura exploded exponentially!
At that moment, a Cricket was entrenched within his body, its fluids participating in his bloodstream, assisting in the absorption of the powerful energy from the potion, completely transforming his physique.
Under this perfect absorption, combined with his already vastly superior constitution, a qualitative change occurred.
He suddenly leaped nearly ten meters high from the palm of Moon Child and landed several dozen meters away, smashing his fist into a rock several meters square, shattering it with a resounding crash!
"By the Barbarian God..." the Barbarian Warriors were stunned, their mouths agape as they stared at him.
In just a few minutes, he had completed a super transformation, becoming countless times stronger, like a myth come to life!
After the initial shock, these people looked at the human in the air with eyes full of greed and desire.
"Conquer all the Barbarian tribes for me, and you can all earn the right to become my servants!"
Roar!
As Xiar's voice echoed in the ears of all the Barbarians, every member of the Raging Bear Clan suddenly howled as if they had been injected with adrenaline, their blood boiling as they yearned to continue fighting!
Xiar nodded in satisfaction and turned back to Leviathan. Before him, a virtual panel appeared, revealing the silhouette of a white fox:
"Moon's Charm: Main Totem, Ultimate Form, Evolution possible (requires Light of Belief, progress 88%)."
