Soon, a clear structure of the Underworld Gate's Guild appeared before the members of Fairy Tail.
"Aside from everything else, just this storm alone can store Demon Particles within its body. Once it erupts, even a Dragon Slayer Mage won't be able to escape. Natsu, if you go in like this, you might end up getting yourself caught in it. And it's not just the people from the Underworld Gate; they are also colluding with President Crawford of the Original Magic Council. They must have gathered all the information on the members of the Original Magic Council by now, including that of the Former Speaker. If all three Speakers are killed and Fiss is activated, then we will be in serious trouble."
Natsu felt deflated. He wasn't particularly skilled in combat, but what Newton mentioned about the Demon Particles was indeed a significant concern. Even if Sargeras had been taken down, Natsu didn't think he would lose to Sargeras now, yet he still felt powerless against these threats.
"So my suggestion is that we protect the Presidents of the council first."
Makarov understood what was most important at this moment.
"However, we still don't know where those Speakers from the Original Magic Council have gone..."
"I know..."
Two voices responded—one was Newton, and the other looked at him with some confusion; it was Mest.
"Mest, it seems you survived."
Newton nodded at him.
"I wish I hadn't."
Mest sighed and then looked at Newton.
"I heard that your Fairy Tail was attacked by the Underworld Gate due to a mission. I also caught some of the discussion you had earlier. If you want to know where the original Speaker is, I can help."
"No need for that. I have my own sources of information. Gerard is one of my people, and he used to hold the position of Speaker, so I can just ask him directly. Besides, I'm planning to track down that traitorous Former Guild Master. According to the intel, that President's ancient magic poses quite a threat to us. Moreover, there’s someone in the Nine Ghosts Gate who excels in necromancy spells, as well as spells that can directly control others and even merge spells. If those three manage to control the Former Guild Master, even if he’s dead, they could probably still utilize his body."
Necromancy really is troublesome. Not only does it involve coercive commands, but this Night Unrest spell seems excessively overpowered. Anyone unaware of these things would likely be completely suppressed if they approached.
"You really do know Gerard!"
Mest rushed toward Newton excitedly. He was generally a rather serious person, so knowing that Gerard was still out there made him eager to apprehend him. Now that Newton had confirmed this, he was ready to take action.
"Are you trying to make me laugh? What status do you think you have to talk to me? The Magic Council? Sorry, but the Magic Council has been destroyed. You’re just an ordinary wandering Mage now, nothing more..."
Newton's words fell like a bucket of cold water on Mest. Mest couldn't help but shiver; yes, he was technically a free Mage now, but in reality, he was just a lost dog. It felt like someone had a tight grip on his lungs, making his breathing quicken. After a while, Mest finally caught his breath and looked at Newton with frustration.
"You’re right."
"Enough!"
Makarov intervened, stopping Newton. After all, Mest was considered part of Fairy Tail too. He stepped closer to Mest.
"Come with me for a moment, Newton; this war will be left in your hands..."
"Wait, President, what about the First Generation?"
The First Generation is known as the Fairy Strategist; when it comes to managing warfare, Mavis would undoubtedly be more suitable than Newton.
"I don't know either. It's been a long time since I've seen the First Generation. Maybe they went somewhere for fun?"
Makarov's words made Newton abandon that thought. It seemed that this time, it was up to them to handle the situation. Newton immediately sent a message to Gerard, asking him to bring his Witch's Sin over.
Although there were some pleasantries when Gerard arrived, the situation was urgent. Newton quickly asked where the former Magic Council Speaker was currently residing. Gerard actually knew this information and promptly informed Newton, including the address of the Former Guild Master.

Gerard didn't waste any time; he nodded and immediately began reviewing the relevant materials with his members.
Discovering a keyholder for Fiss was an unexpected stroke of luck, but the matter wasn't over yet—there were still several Former Speakers wandering around outside.
"Newton, I'll go after this person..."
Gajeel unexpectedly spoke up, holding a piece of information about an elderly woman. Looking at Gajeel, it seemed he recognized her.
Newton nodded.
"You can choose who you want to go with."
Gajeel took his cat and went directly to Newton's stock, retrieving seven sets of armor filled with rare metals before leaving.
"Newton, I'm heading to one of the locations."
Natsu chimed in, pulling Lucy along.
"Of course, I'll go with Lucy."
"Um, can I help too…?"
Wendy volunteered as she walked over.
With that, the second team was formed.
"I'll go with Erza to see Isaac, the Former Guild Master..."
After all, the Former Guild Master had managed to become President. Even if he had the title of 'former,' he was still quite cunning and possessed formidable magical abilities. If Laxus were available, it would have been best for him and the Thunder God Clan to handle it. Elfman felt somewhat awkward, while Lisanna was unreserved, pulling Elfman along to raid Newton's warehouse.
After everyone had left, Newton began dialing one number after another.
