"Everyone, calm down!" 0

Immediately, someone stepped forward. Those who made it this far were naturally intelligent individuals, but when the stakes were high enough to shatter reason, even the smartest among them would find it futile. 0

"This is just a part of what they brought. If we take them down, we might get even more!" 0

Upon hearing this, many began to regain their composure. Their gazes remained fixed on the treasures, but their hearts now yearned for the ones who possessed them. 0

"During the previous battle with the Six Demon Generals, it was just like this." 0

Just as the atmosphere seemed to be under control, a nonchalant voice broke the silence, causing everyone to fall silent instantly. 0

Indeed, back then, Chou had stirred up his followers in a similar manner. However, those who had participated in the rebellion were now dead, and Chou had instead allied with the Six Demon Generals. Who knew if these individuals before them harbored the same intentions as Chou did back then? 0

"Human greed knows no bounds, yet people are also shortsighted." 0

Chou sat on the second floor, observing the farce below. Mu stood beside him, a pained expression in his eyes. The thought of all those treasures falling into their hands was almost unbearable. 0

"Mu, how about we throw this wine cup down?" 0

The wine cup in Chou's hand was crystal clear, displaying a rich green hue and an ancient design that clearly indicated it was no ordinary item. 0

"My lord, we've already thrown away so many treasures; there's no need for that, is there?" 0

Mu truly felt heartache over it. 0

"Smash!" 0

On the other side, a wine glass flew through the air in an arc before shattering on the ground. Instantly, everyone below calmed down, all eyes turning to the upper floor, where Diroth had quietly dispelled his barrier magic, revealing himself. 0

Seeing that everyone was looking at him, Diroth smiled warmly. A servant immediately stepped forward with another glass of wine, and Diroth raised his glass. 0

"Sorry, my hand slipped." 0

He then glanced to the side. 0

"My apologies, Lord Ugly, for interrupting your performance." 0

Ugly grimaced slightly. 0

"In this day and age, you can't trust anyone." 0

He too dispelled his barrier, revealing his pale face to the crowd below, who were caught off guard and startled. 0

"Hahahaha..." 0

The strange laughter made everyone feel as if he had emerged from hell itself. 0

"This is all for you, my friends. Feel free to take whatever you like. If there's not enough, Mu, go fetch more. Bring out everything we have." 0

Mu looked helpless but complied. Soon, everyone saw Circus driving out all the wagons he had brought. Once opened, they revealed a variety of treasures—food, drinks, and all sorts of items. 0

"Take whatever you want!" 0

Ugly had completely ignored those things, instead staring blankly into space before turning to face Diroth. 0

"Have you made a decision, Lord Diroth?" 0

Diroth sighed, falling silent for a moment. The barrier rose once more, but this time there was no obstruction between the two. 0

"The Dark Guild cannot be chaotic; that is my only requirement. Your plan is too reckless. Disorder will only lead to destruction. Even in darkness, it is merely about establishing one's own order." 0

"Indeed, you are right, Lord Diroth. That is why I want to find a helper. Look at fairy tales—why are heroes considered heroes? Is it because they saved the prince? Because of their strength? No, it is because of the demon they defeated. They are called heroes because they brought down evil and established order, and what I seek is simply evil itself." 0

Ugly smiled nonchalantly, playing with the wine glass in hand. 0

"I create chaos, and what happens next is someone else's business; it has nothing to do with me. The world is a strange place. Even if I destroy the existing order, the world will still develop its own order—a chaotic order that might suit us better. Have you never thought about being able to freely sell contraband? To have your goods appear in the Royal Family's domain? Why should our interests be hunted down when they are hundreds of times greater than those ordinary goods? Don't you want to walk openly in the sunlight? Hypocrisy! It’s so hypocritical! All I want to do is strip away this mask of hypocrisy and let everything return to its original state." 0

With each of Ugly's words, Diroth's hand trembled slightly until he finally set down his wine glass and sank back into his chair. 0

"I need a night to think." 0

"I don't mind at all, because I'm thinking of you, Lord Diroth. What I gain is merely spiritual pleasure, while you stand to gain tangible benefits." 0

Ugly squinted his eyes, looking like a cunning fox, which sent a chill down Diroth's spine as he left with his subordinates once again. 0

"My lord, those things..." 0

Mu stood by silently, not daring to make a sound, only able to think that Ugly's ideas were far too insane. 0

"Let them go; I've already coated those Treasures with poison..." 0

Chou seemed uninterested, indifferent to the outcome. 0

"My lord, our people have also..." 0

"Don't worry, I've added an antidote to the food. It's not like I’m going to eat it myself. Everything has been given to them. The Treasures that can kill and the food that can save lives combined will amount to nothing." 0

Who would choose food that looks like garbage in front of Treasures? 0

Mu felt his hands and feet were already icy cold. What surprised him was that no one dared to touch the Treasures laid out below. 0

"Alright, it seems like nothing is happening today. Mu, send someone out tomorrow morning to check. If there are any leftovers, bring them back. By the way, High Temperature can disinfect those Treasures. After they've been disinfected, you can distribute them as you see fit." 0

Upon hearing Chou's orders, Mu's eyes lit up with excitement; he wished he could go down right now. But since Chou had said tomorrow morning, it had to be tomorrow morning. Mu knew that no one could defy Chou's wishes at this moment. When you think you've figured out this guy's intentions, you'll find yourself trapped in a snare, so it’s better to just obey. 0

Although Mu thought this way, he still stayed on the second floor to see how much would be left by tomorrow morning and to take note of who took what; perhaps they could recover some items later. 0

Meanwhile, Newton stretched lazily and went back to sleep. 0
