Such matters, let alone the Temple, would likely be intolerable to the entire Immortal City. 0

This not only indicated a lapse in the Temple's guards but also represented a desecration of the Temple's status. Should any serious consequences arise, the residents of the city would fall into panic. 0

However, the fact that so many elite forces had been specially dispatched from above demonstrated the determination of the Archbishops. 0

The Bulky Man, named Adis, carefully observed the footprints several times and adjusted the ambush set by Fair and others. He then clenched his fists tightly. 0

From that person's patterns of movement, it was clear he only appeared every Monday. 0

And today was that day. 0

Yes, once night fell, everything would come to light! 0

…… 0

The sky over Immortal City was exceptionally clear, with no clouds in sight. The starlit night sparkled brilliantly across the heavens. 0

Aside from those elite forces lying in ambush, only two guards remained stationed at the Frozen Palace. Despite Adis's repeated instructions for them to maintain their usual demeanor and not reveal any signs of tension, at this moment, both guards felt a surge of anxiety. 0

After all, the enemy they were about to face could very well be a member of the Temple itself. 0

It could be some inconspicuous individual or perhaps a well-known figure—someone they might have just shared laughter with. It was precisely because they did not know who it was that an inexplicable fear gripped them. 0

At that moment, faint footsteps echoed from down the corridor. 0

He’s coming! 0

He really is here! 0

The two guards perked up, simultaneously inserting the prepared needles into their thighs to stave off sleep. However, they soon realized how naive they were; the footsteps sounded like a lullaby, and gradually, both of them succumbed to a strong drowsiness. It was unclear who gave in first, but with a soft thud, one of them collapsed. 0

Moments later, the other guard also fell into a deep slumber. 0

A pair of black boots stopped in front of the two men, seemingly checking on their condition. After half a minute, the figure turned and walked away, the sound of footsteps echoing on the ice. 0

As expected, he ultimately halted in front of the ice sculpture. 0

It resembled a casual handshake; the two stood facing each other, yet the ice sculpture remained still, propped up by a long sword. 0

The figure lifted part of his cloak, gazing at Garen, whose eyes were closed as if in a light sleep. A hint of complex emotion flickered beneath the cloak before a long sigh escaped his lips. 0

"You shouldn't have come..." he murmured softly. But in an instant, he quickly closed the cloak and sidestepped sharply to avoid an attack from one of the guards. 0

"Clang!" The long sword missed its target. The guard, realizing he had been exposed, no longer held back and shouted as he struck again! 0

"Charge! Everyone, charge! We must capture him!" Adis's furious roar echoed as numerous guards surged from both sides of the palace, surrounding the figure. 0

"There's nowhere left for you to run!" Adis stood at the entrance, blocking the last escape route with a sinister grin. "Show your face! You have no chance left." 0

The guards under Fair's command were indeed elite members of Temple. They did not relax their vigilance despite surrounding their opponent; instead, they cautiously tightened their encirclement without showing any signs of slackening. 0

"Capture him! He's trying to escape!" Suddenly, Fair shouted angrily and lunged forward. 0

The edge of that black cloak swirled as it darted behind one of the guards. By the time Fair attacked, it was too late; footsteps echoed in the dimly lit palace as the figure slipped into the shadows! 0

"Fair! You guard the entrance!" A bad premonition arose in Adis's mind. "You all search with me!" With that, numerous guards began to scour the palace. 0

The area of Sun Palace was not large, and with many obstacles frozen by ice, it felt extremely open and difficult to hide in. Yet strangely enough, after searching nearly every corner under Adis's command, they found nothing! 0

"This is impossible... Keep searching for me!" Adis exclaimed, his face filled with astonishment, yet he stubbornly continued his search. 0

Of course, Lost Land had suppressed their powers, making it unreasonable to escape from this enclosed palace. The cloaked man had not truly left; however, it could not be said that he was hiding here either. 0

He concealed himself in the shadows, almost becoming a mere silhouette. 0

While Adis and the others were frantically searching, this shadow had already crept to the entrance of the grand hall, one foot poised to step over the threshold. 0

Suddenly! 0

His body trembled violently, and he appeared quite alarmed! 0

"Hmm?" Fair sensed something amiss and cautiously scanned the surroundings. However, aside from the shadows on the ground, there was nothing else. 0

Strange... 0

Fair scratched his head. Most of his attention was on Adis, so he did not notice that the shadow had vanished. 0

... 0

... 0

Footsteps echoed in the corridor. 0

Master Yi entered the palace and looked up at the figure above him, respectfully saying, "Sir, you called for me?" 0

Tastandin slowly turned around, squinting with a smile as he asked, "Have you been visiting him often lately?" 0

Master Yi was not surprised. After a moment of silence, he shook his head and replied, "Actually, it doesn't have to be this way." 0

In the Immortal City, unlike other Lost Lands, in this timeless Chaos space, all Harbingers had no idea how long they would remain. In such circumstances, survival was the most important thing; as for grudges and grievances, they meant nothing. 0

"Yes, this task was originally assigned to me by Acheron. If it were now... perhaps I should let him taste the flavor of Eternity," Tastandin mused while stroking his chin. "Heh, that's a good thought. Once we leave here, I'll pay a visit to the Reimer Clan." 0

"As for that warrior... I truly have no aversion to him anymore," Tastandin suddenly said with a hint of helplessness. "But I still want to kill him." 0

While speaking, Tastandin kept an eye on Master Yi's expression. Although that face was obscured by a thin mist, as a servant of Eternal Power, Tastandin could certainly see through everything related to Eternity. 0

Master Yi remained expressionless for a moment before saying, "Understood." 0

Tastandin was slightly surprised and then asked, "How is the canned supply coming along?" 0

Master Yi thought for a moment and replied, "After five years of accumulation, it's mostly complete. However, if we are to take action against him, we might still be lacking some." 0

"Mm." Tastandin nodded in satisfaction and said with a cold expression, "I hope you won't tamper with this matter. I can forgive you for anything else, but if it concerns Eternity and I find out... you know the consequences." 0

Master Yi's body suddenly trembled as he said, "Please trust my loyalty to Eternity." 0

"Alright, you can go back now." Tastandin waved his hand impatiently. 0

As Master Yi bowed to take his leave and was about to step out the door, Tastandin's voice called out from behind him. 0

"Oh right! Five years ago, I broke your weapon. You aren't angry about that, are you?" 0
