In the previous chapter, Yu Tian began a search across the entire galaxy to uncover the secrets of the seal.
The Crystal Chip started to shake inexplicably, something Yu Tian had never anticipated.
"How strange, I didn't even activate it much!" Yu Tian pondered, when suddenly a voice echoed in his mind.
"Big Brother, hurry and break that seal, or it will self-destruct! The immense energy could cause the entire planet to explode!"
"Little Ru? How did you end up over there again? What are you talking about?" Yu Tian was somewhat annoyed that Little Ru had entered his memories without permission, dismissing the urgency of the situation.
"I just wanted to see if there was something you had forgotten in the depths of your memory that could break that seal... but..."
Yu Tian guessed the outcome; if Little Ru had found that magic, she wouldn't be so frantic in speaking to him. "Is it true?" Yu Tian realized that if Earth were to be destroyed because of him, he would truly be...
"Little Ru, tell me what to do!" Yu Tian was a complete novice and had no choice but to ask the somewhat arrogant yet knowledgeable Divine Dragon for help.
Of course, Little Ru shared the method with him, but it involved a thrilling journey of exploration. As for how that exploration went, let's keep it a mystery for now and move on to another realm.
Yu Tian had heard from Dr. S that the spaceship had been upgraded. He was eager to see what his new companion looked like. After some verification, not long after, a spaceship flew into the launch bay. Yu Tian set the machine to standby mode and then walked into the launch bay.
It was a pure black spaceship. According to Dr. S, this was the device capable of cutting off gravity. Yu Tian secretly cast a spell on the spaceship, but nothing happened.
It seemed that the modified functions of this spaceship worked quite well.
To avoid drawing attention, Yu Tian had no choice but to pilot the spaceship himself; otherwise, the Satellite monitoring ground activities would track movements and relay information to the military department. These precautions were all taken to prevent unwanted incidents. As long as a spaceship passed authentication, it could move freely, while unfamiliar ships would easily be detected.
Yu Tian climbed into the spaceship and noticed that its internal structure hadn't changed much; it just had some additional features. He contemplated the possible uses of these functions before starting it up.
Following the prompts on the screen, Yu Tian entered the destination coordinates. With autopilot engaged—not out of laziness but so he could take a moment to observe Divine Canon—he let the ship navigate itself.
In just a few minutes, the spaceship arrived above Keith Lake.
Perhaps due to seasonal rains, Keith Lake was very deep.
Yu Tian gazed at the riverbank, pausing for a moment. If only he had had the chance to see the Pyramid back then! Now, he could only view it in the Lunar Museum. After a moment of reflection, Yu Tian parked his spaceship above the center of the lake, boarded his submersible, and descended underwater.
Protected by the shield formed automatically by the Magic Element, Yu Tian's new outfit remained completely dry. Following the map, he indeed discovered a structure resembling an underwater city.
Using energy to disperse the lake water, Yu Tian approached the entrance directly.
After observing for a moment, he noticed a small slot. He inserted the Crystal Fragment into it (this was something he had learned during his exploration; otherwise, how would he find a hole in such a vast lakebed?). However, there was no response. Yu Tian infused energy into it. The Crystal Fragment emitted a glow, and he heard a clattering sound.
Turning his head, he saw a small gap appear in the lake behind him. The gap widened gradually, as if a stone door was opening.
Yu Tian hurriedly tried to pull out the Crystal Fragment, but it seemed to have fused with the wall and wouldn't budge. He had no choice but to quickly float over to the stone door. He found it strange that such a large door at the bottom of the water could open like this; moreover, despite its size, there was no water current when it opened. This was definitely an extraordinary phenomenon beyond nature, yet magic was indeed real.
As Yu Tian saw that the door had opened halfway and was preparing to enter, something flew toward him. He reached out with his hand and caught it—it was the Crystal Fragment.
The text on it remained unchanged, but the pattern had shifted. Yu Tian placed it into the magical space attached to Little Ru's staff.
At that moment, the stone door fully opened.
Yu Tian retracted his Divine Dragon Staff and stepped inside.
Suddenly, the stone door closed behind him. Yu Tian thought that whoever could easily control such a large stone door must possess extraordinary abilities.
But whether that person was an enemy or friend, whether they were divine or demonic, remained unknown.
Yu Tian carefully observed his surroundings; it appeared to be a grand hall where meetings were held.
However, there wasn't a single soul in sight.
Yu Tian slowly walked further inside, hoping to discover something, but all he found were stone artifacts.
"Is anyone here?" Yu Tian shouted loudly, infusing his voice with energy. Yet in such a vast space, only lonely echoes responded.
He continued forward when suddenly he felt something amiss beneath his feet. He quickly halted and looked down. It turned out that the floor he had stepped on had cracked open, releasing a beam of red light.
Yu Tian stared intently at it as it spun in the air, seemingly waiting for something.
Suddenly, it dispersed. Before Yu Tian could react in surprise, changes began to occur around him: numerous stones shifted positions, gradually forming the characters "Otherworld." Just as Yu Tian was preparing to ponder this, the stones started moving again, slowly shaping into a large character: "Nothing."
Then, everything vanished.
Surrounded by an endless expanse of pure white space, Yu Tian turned his head and realized that everything had truly disappeared. What would happen next? He began to walk slowly in the direction he had come from, but there was no response.
Yu Tian had promised Lin that he would only take half a day. He summoned Little Ru and infused it with magical energy. With his intent, an arrow formed from the combination of Water and Fire Elements. Yu Tian controlled it and aimed downward, but there seemed to be nothing below; the water-fire arrow fell straight down and slowly disappeared.
However, changes began to unfold around him. The white walls transformed into a blood-red hue, stimulating Yu Tian's nerves.
A fragment of memory flickered in his mind; a certain magical force attracted him. Yet, he recalled that this fragment might be related to something sealed away.
According to the Divine Canon, a seal could only be broken by a special person using a unique method. Forcing the seal could cause energy to enter the body of the one breaking it, leading to an explosion without secret techniques. Just thinking about it was quite terrifying! Yu Tian struggled fiercely but soon found himself fading away.
He couldn't tell if it was disappearing on its own or if Yu Tian had driven it away.
The surrounding red faded away, but then a thick voice echoed: "Kada.Tian."
Who was that? What kind of place was this?
