After finishing their meal, Yu Tian handed the remaining cleanup tasks to the robotic butler and walked with Lin to the top balcony.
They lay on the lounge chairs, gazing up at the sky. "I wonder if anything has happened on Kadar Star. Are we going back?" Although he had grown to detest that place filled with sorrowful memories, nostalgia was a different matter. After all, he was from there; it was where he had grown up.
"Of course! My brother—no, I mean Rikichi Hong—has taken my blood sample to replicate the Holy Blood. The Demon King might soon be resurrected. If they find out that there is such a prosperous civilization in the Solar System, it would be disastrous." Lin's words were calm, as if nothing particularly alarming was happening, as if she had become accustomed to all of this.
The night sky was as pure as the sea surface from centuries ago. Although a massive object occasionally blocked part of the moon, it was hard to completely obscure all the beauty of the night. The round moon appeared even larger after passing through a protective layer, resembling a jade plate. It was said that ancient people referred to it as a jade plate because of this marvelous optical illusion! The interstellar realm was already bustling, sleepless through the night.
Returning to tranquility was certainly impossible!
"They took your blood sample? Lin, are you okay?" Yu Tian sat up from his lounge chair, looking at her anxiously. Lin felt both warm and amused by Yu Tian's concern. If they could live like this forever until old age, it wouldn't be such a bad thing! Lin was an understanding person; she was the Saintess and had foreseen many things. She just couldn't speak of them; she was already prepared for the future.
"It's nothing! It's just a bit of blood," Lin said, wrapping her arms tightly around Yu Tian's neck, her eyes slightly moist. She feared losing him and only hoped that this happiness could last a little longer. Some say that long pain is worse than short pain; is that true or false?
"They took your blood and you say it's nothing? As long as I'm here, I won't let anyone harm you in any way."
"I know!" Lin secretly smiled in her heart while Yu Tian was planning how to deal with Hong.
"By the way, you mentioned they want to use your Holy Blood to resurrect the Demon King? Who exactly is this Demon King?" At that moment, Yu Tian sensed a connection between himself and that Demon King. When Lin spoke about Holy Blood, the suppressed energy deep within him flickered back to life. Though it was just for an instant, it was enough to cause Yu Tian concern! He wasn't afraid of anything else; he feared that one day he might be consumed by that energy and turn into... Yu Tian couldn't bear to imagine...
"He's the demon god worshipped in the Demon Realm! Actually, he was just an ordinary human who later led some rebels against the divine realm established by human mages after its creation. Now those demons revere and worship him. I just hope he's truly a formidable character and that his resurrection is merely a legend..." Lin nestled her head against Yu Tian's chest but shivered from the cold wind outside.
"Let's not talk about this anymore; we have plenty of time later. It's getting cold! Let's go inside and sleep!" Lin stood up cheerfully and walked into the house, with Yu Tian following behind. She couldn't help but wonder how long this time would last. Would he still be by her side in the next moment?

"Father, we have enough Holy Blood now! When can we hold the sealing ceremony?" Hongrilkqi walked in from outside the Demon Palace with a smile on his face. He had fully recovered, though at the cost of several slaves' lives. Of course, he wouldn't know that his father understood how much this educated son despised such senseless slaughter.
Slicky stood staring at the statue of the Demon King with a strange expression.
“Soon! Make sure to keep the Holy Blood safe, and absolutely do not let anything go wrong again.”
Hongrilkqi noticed his father’s distracted demeanor and walked over, asking softly, “Father, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing! It’s just that Son of the God King slipped away right under Yu Tian’s nose. It’s quite strange. Could it really be as you said, a passage from the divine realm to Mother Earth?”
“Perhaps! When you sent Yu Tian to Earth, how did you manage to change his form and memories every hundred years?” Honk Rikechi paused.
Slicky turned to look at his son and replied, “Back then, the Divine Demon Public Realm had a Time Array left by our ancestors. However, it was damaged during the Divine Demons War. The last time I led an army there, it was destroyed, but I still managed to send you over.”
“Can’t the divine beings create one themselves?”
“That’s hard to say!” Slicky sighed. “Our ancestors favored them! And look where that got us; they were defeated. By the way, son, take a few hundred Demon Guards and four Breakers to search the divine realm thoroughly. Remember not to linger; the elements in the divine realm are different from those in our Holy Realm.”
“Yes, Father!” Hongrilkqi felt a surge of excitement; this time he was determined to make a significant impact.
Lost in thought, he stepped out of the Demon Palace while Slyckis made his own plans.
Once Demon King Carter was unsealed, he would follow him to conquer Earth. Then...
Slicky truly hoped that what he envisioned would come to fruition soon.

Yu Tian lay on his bed, staring through the transparent roof at the tranquil night sky.
Lin had already fallen into a deep sleep, but Yu Tian found it hard to doze off. He couldn’t understand why Lin was sleeping so soundly. After all, she had once slept for hundreds of years. Yet now, upon waking from that long slumber, so much had changed—people had changed—but the sky remained as mysterious as ever.
Lin unexpectedly woke up and noticed Yu Tian lost in thought. She moved closer, leaning in to whisper softly in his ear, "What are you thinking about?"
Yu Tian turned his head to look at her face, which appeared somewhat blurred in the night. But the haze only added to her beauty, didn't it?
"Why aren't you asleep either?" Yu Tian sighed a little.
Lin replied with a sweet voice, "If I had slept for over a hundred years and still slept, wouldn't I just become Sleeping Beauty?"
Yu Tian was surprised by how similar her thoughts were to his own and nodded in agreement.
"Yes! I think some thoughts only emerge after experiencing certain events, even if they come from different people! After returning home, sadness occupied most of my time; only the moments spent with you, Lin, brought joy and excitement. But it seems that this time will also come to an end," Yu Tian reflected.
Noticing that Yu Tian had been silent for a while, Lin asked, "Tian, should we invite some people over to celebrate our wedding?" Yu Tian's initial irritation at being interrupted faded away upon hearing the word "wedding." He replied, "It's up to you. After we register our marriage, I'll invite Dr. S and the others."
"You want me to cook for you, right? No problem!" Lin responded cheerfully, picking up on Yu Tian's words with a smile.
Yu Tian understood that even fleeting happiness should be cherished.
In the remaining two hours, Yu Tian surprisingly fell asleep and began to dream sweet dreams. He wondered if Lin was the same; he thought she probably was!
Tomorrow would continue; there were no misdeeds committed tonight! A man must exercise self-control. Just like that, he saved the moment with a smile of gratitude.
