Collecting curiosities is a delightful hobby. 0

Mysterious objects often evoke a sense of intrigue, and perhaps that is what draws you in. The passage mentioned in the previous chapter had captured their attention. Those items might hint at another civilization on this planet, one distinct from the Galaxy System. Many unsolvable mysteries could potentially find their answers here. 0

“Captain, what kind of machine is that?” Lin leaned closer to Yu Tian's ear and whispered. 0

“I haven't seen it, how would I know?” Yu Tian replied, slightly embarrassed as he turned his head away. He struggled to resist the alluring scent emanating from Lin, taking a few deep breaths to steady himself. He flipped through a few more pages, but soon found them devoid of text. 0

“Is there nothing left?” Just as he was about to give up, he spotted a map on one of the pages. It lacked any written descriptions but was marked with numerous lines and symbols. 0

“Captain, why are there no records?” Lin asked again, this time not leaning in close, perhaps sensing Yu Tian's discomfort. 0

“I don’t know! Why do you ask so many questions?” his brother Hong muttered under his breath. 0

Lin pouted in response, feeling wronged. “You’re the only one who’s quiet!” 0

Yu Tian continued flipping through the pages but found nothing else of interest. Was it possible that Wang Xiaofei had recorded something and then never returned? He flipped back to the page with the map, his intuition suggesting that it might hold some secrets. 0

Turning around, he halted the argument between Hong and Lin and pointed to a location on the map in the notebook. “Let’s go check that place out!” 0

Driving the Smart Sports Car, Yu Tian successfully navigated to a cave based on data from the Probe Satellite and the map. Lin was thrilled, glancing around excitedly like a mischievous little monkey. Hong sat quietly in his seat, engrossed in analyzing data transmitted by the satellite; he truly was a workaholic, not lifting his precious head for quite some time. 0

The cave was dark, obscuring what lay inside, but it didn’t seem shallow. 0

Yu Tian drove the sports car into the cave; initially, he could see the path ahead, but it quickly faded into darkness. At that moment, he relied on manual driving to skillfully avoid obstacles. Suddenly, Yu Tian felt drowsy, as if something were about to emerge from its cocoon. He shook his head and activated the autopilot feature, allowing the Smart Sports Car to drive itself while he rubbed his temples to alleviate the pain. 0

Gradually, his vision darkened further; looking back, he could no longer see the light from the cave entrance and had no choice but to turn on the headlights. Hong remained focused on his work, with screens glowing brightly around him. Meanwhile, Lin was likely shivering in fear; girls are naturally afraid of the dark. 0

In an instant, everything turned white, and Yu Tian's vision temporarily ceased to function. He had to fumble to turn off the car lights. The vehicle was nearly at a stop, and surprisingly, the cave was no longer dark. All around them were glimmering stones, as if they were in a dreamlike tunnel. 0

Lin took a mechanical hand from the toolbox and jumped out of the car, almost colliding with the stone wall. Yu Tian quickly brought the vehicle to a halt. 0

"Lin, what are you doing? Do you have any idea how dangerous that was? What if something happened?" Yu Tian turned his head, looking at her in confusion. Although he felt worried, his tone was quite strong. He had decided before setting off that he wouldn't let his team members leave before completing their mission. 0

"Be careful, little sister!" Hong also set down his work, his eyes fixed on Lin. It seemed that his sister was still more important than that computer. 0

"It's nothing; I just wanted to collect some stones!" Lin began to attach the mechanical hand to the stone wall. Soon, a rock was pulled free, and she climbed back into the sports car. 0

"Just be more careful in the future. You're grown up now; you shouldn't need someone worrying about you!" Hong opened his computer again, redirecting his focus. 0

Once Yu Tian saw Lin safely seated in the car again, he revved the engine and drove deeper into the cave. What awaited them in the depths of the cave? Was it a monster, treasure, or just a dead end? 0

"Captain, this is a type of Diamond. It has a strong light-absorbing ability; it brightened up because it absorbed the light from the car!" Lin announced her discovery loudly, looking quite proud. The earlier embarrassment from being scolded had completely vanished; she seemed very pleased with herself. 0

Yu Tian couldn't help but admire her secretly. "I never expected such a beautiful girl would also be smart! How did I not think of something so important? Ah, this is just the difference in our professions!" 0

After an unknown amount of time driving, they finally burst out of the narrow passage of the cave into a larger inner chamber. 0

The most striking feature inside the cave was a large black "stone" right in the center. 0

"Maybe it's some kind of gem?" Lin guessed loudly, completely oblivious to the fierce glares directed at her. 0

They jumped out of the car and landed on the stone-like ground with a soft thud. 0

Everyone was excited; they were about to unveil this mysterious veil. What awaited them? 0

The lurking danger was approaching. 0

As they strode toward the Black Stone, all three suddenly felt a surge of energy. 0

Yu Tian stopped, trying to discern what it was, but found nothing. 0

"Lin, did you feel anything just now?" Yu Tian turned to her, eagerly gazing into her bright eyes. 0

"I think I sensed a wave of energy, as if we were getting closer to a barrier!" Lin blurted out without much thought. However, this response startled Yu Tian, bringing back a familiar pain in his mind. 0

"A barrier? It's impressive that Lin could think of that; she even brought up terms from fantasy novels in this situation!" he thought, managing to feel a bit better despite the pain. 0

Hong showed no reaction, perhaps keeping his feelings hidden. They didn’t dwell on it and resumed their strides toward the Black Stone. This time, they encountered nothing unusual and quickly approached the mysterious object. 0

However, their attention was not immediately drawn to it but rather to a skeleton nearby. Yu Tian was the first to rush over, with Lin and Hong following closely behind. 0

"Could this be Wang Xiaofei?" Lin's voice held a mix of surprise and a slight tremor, as if fear gripped her. They quickly shifted their focus back to the Black Stone, which indeed resembled a rock, particularly due to its exasperating hardness. 0

Yet the more challenging something was, the more it piqued their curiosity. If they merely inspected it briefly and then decided to leave, the entire story would end there. 0

But that was not the case. 0
