There’s no need to introduce specific details, but the background of this free-spirited individual remains quite mysterious. 0

Yu Tian was born in 3469 and grew up as an orphan of Huaxia ethnicity, even though by that time, racial distinctions had largely faded. He was once the captain of the Cosmic Anti-Terror Squad and also served as a coach at the Lunar Martial Arts Academy. During that period, he was fortunate enough to acquire a house on the eastern coast of Asia. 0

It was a villa nestled in the embrace of green mountains, with a waterfall cascading down from the back hills. Standing on the balcony, one could take in the beautiful scenery below, completely oblivious to the distant yellow sands (in reality, that residential area had long been isolated from the outside world by a massive energy net; without special devices, it was impossible to see beyond). It truly was a magnificent villa, with a sky-blue roof and walls painted in a subtle blend of pale pink and light green, constructed from seventh-generation smart materials. The walls of the house had two main layers, and upstairs there was a rooftop terrace equipped with a large signal transmission and modulation device, along with a small pavilion that housed only a single leather chair. Upon entering the house, one would find a spacious living room featuring a large classical-style sofa at its center. Beyond that lay a staircase leading to the second-floor bedroom, adjacent to which was his studio containing the central control unit for the entire house's network. The ground floor had little more than a storage room and kitchen. In fact, in a secret corner, there was a passage leading to his private base. 0

Having just completed a mission and returned home, Yu Tian lay down on his comfortable bed, ready to drift off to sleep. However, before his eyelids could even meet for a moment of rest, a voice colder than death floated into his ears. 0

“Yu Tian, you’ve worked hard!” The simulated butler activated the screen, revealing Dr. S's serious face. 0

“Annoying!” Yu Tian reluctantly sat up, rubbed his eyes, and looked up. “What is it? I just got home and you wake me up—can’t I get some rest?” 0

“Hey hey, sorry about that!” Dr. S scratched the back of his head with an awkward smile before clearing his throat and speaking seriously. “We have an important mission this time. Your efficiency and quality in completing tasks have always been top-notch, earning you high praise from upper management. This time, the headquarters committee has decided to assign you this mission.” Dr. S’s face was grave; he had completely lost his previous jovial demeanor. 0

“Stop with the formalities; I’m tired of hearing them!” Yu Tian poured himself a cup of hot coffee and settled onto the sofa. “Every time I work, it’s just these same old lines to placate me. Just tell me what the mission is—I’ve never refused you anyway.” 0

Dr. S smiled slightly and explained: “Recently we discovered that the gravity of the nearest black hole ‘Zero’ is decreasing, and its swallowing phenomenon is gradually weakening. Our technology has advanced enough to escape its swallowing effect; thus we’ve formulated the ‘Black Hole Project’ to study it thoroughly! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for humanity!” 0

“The gravity of a black hole is determined by its density; greater density means greater gravity. How could Zero's gravity possibly decrease?” Yu Tian furrowed his brow as he added sugar cubes to his coffee, feeling a flicker of interest. “Alright then, I’ll take it on—how far away is it?” He brought the coffee to his lips for a sip. 0

“About 2000 light-years or so!” Dr. S replied calmly. 0

However, with a "pfft!", coffee sprayed out of Yu Tian's mouth. 0

Wiping the coffee off his chin, he coughed and waved his hand, saying, "Are you kidding me? If I have to go alone that far, I'm not doing it!" 0

The doctor smiled oddly at Yu Tian and said, "This time you have two companions! And they are both elites just like you!" This old guy was never serious; who knew if his so-called elites were newspaper-selling elites or shoe-shining elites? 0

Despite his thoughts, Yu Tian agreed. Although he had no idea what Dr. S was up to, it was a mission, and completing it would surely bring some benefits. 0

Seeing Yu Tian agree, Dr. S chuckled and nodded repeatedly, "Great! I appreciate your spirit. Now, I’ll hang up!" 0

With that, the screen went dark with a click. 0

Yu Tian stood up, tilted his head back and downed the coffee like it was beer. He put on a jacket and walked in front of the Micro Control Center (a comprehensive home management system developed in the 33rd century), entered the password and commands. Almost the moment he hit enter, the wall beside him made two clicking sounds as it slid open, revealing a hidden tunnel before him. 0

Entering the tunnel, Yu Tian boarded a small flying vehicle. It quickly took him to the entrance of the laboratory. 0

A synthetic voice from the microphone above greeted him. "Welcome to Yu Tian Laboratory. Please confirm your identity!" 0

After checking his cornea, fingerprints, and DNA sequence, the laboratory door opened swiftly. 0

"Welcome to the laboratory, Mr. Yu!" Although it was a synthetic voice, it sounded remarkably like that of a human woman. 0

Yu Tian walked directly to the control console and entered data: system wake-up initiated, control level set to standard transportation mode, biometric identification system activated. 0

"Chirp!" The central table of the laboratory cracked open, and a beautifully crafted small spaceship slowly rose from the platform in the middle, creating a small hole in the ceiling. 0

Yu Tian walked toward the spaceship, pausing briefly in front of the Biometric Scanner before entering through the opened hatch. He then inputted the destination into the Control Panel and activated the autopilot, settling down for a good sleep. 0

After a period of rest that felt like a dream, Yu Tian was jolted awake by a slight vibration from the spaceship. Damn, this old ship really needs to be replaced; autopilot is nowhere near as reliable as manual control. 0

Seeing that the system indicated they had arrived at their destination, he knew it was time to "disembark." 0

At that moment, Yu Tian had reached the landing area of Lunar Cosmic Technology Headquarters. The Science and Technology Building was a large hemispherical structure made of high-strength glass fiber, radiating a fluorescent glow that made one feel both oppressed and insignificant. Underneath an S-shaped central building, it occupied a vast area with four laboratories, three launch platforms, and numerous research institutions and production departments. 0

As soon as Yu Tian stepped out, he spotted Dr. S approaching him, accompanied by a man and a woman. "Is this old guy trying to pull off some cloning trick on me?" he thought to himself, but he still descended the landing ramp. 0
