"Whoosh—!" Gasping for breath, Lai Yueang stared with lifeless eyes, having died once again.
The figure before him snapped him out of his daze. With a complex tone, he asked, "Do you remember me? You haven't forgotten what happened before, have you?"
Although the boy didn't provide any specific reminders, Lai Yueang understood the implication; the other party was clearly aware that he had died again.
"Lai Yueang, you really are looking for trouble!"

Meeting those dark purple eyes sent a chill through him, and he collapsed to the ground, utterly drained of strength.

A cool breeze swept by as a shadow darted past the alleyway. Unfortunately, just as it was about to leap over the heads of those below, a dazzling light fell upon it.
It was a bolt of thunder—Purple Radiance—blindingly bright.
In an instant, as it struck the shadow, accompanied by a muffled groan, a body wrapped in gray robes fell from midair.
Ding! A metallic badge landed in front of Chen Fan.
He bent down and picked it up. The strange metal was inlaid with a gemstone that looked quite valuable. Chen Fan didn't hold back; after all, it was a trophy!
The Tang Siblings appeared unfazed, having seen even more astonishing sights before.
"Mr. Chen Fan, where exactly are we?" Tang Xin'er asked with confusion.
"Wait a moment, I have a way to get back," Chen Fan waved his hand, briefly explaining before turning his gaze to the entrance of the alley, where a Silver-Haired Girl stood, her face filled with surprise as she looked at the badge in the boy's hand.
"That's my lost item! Will you return it to me? I can pay you!" the girl said, stepping forward into the alley. However, the cat perched on her shoulder suddenly called out to her in a wary tone, "Leah, don't get close to that boy; he's dangerous!"
The girl halted her steps and began to survey her surroundings.
"Want the badge?" Chen Fan shook the metal badge in his hand and chuckled lightly. "We'll probably be staying in this country for about six months. As long as you can provide me with a comfortable environment and food, I'll give you the badge!"
The girl's attire and aura indicated that she was extraordinary. Especially the fluffy pet on her shoulder gave him an impression that was no less than that of a deity.
With such a powerful pet, how could the girl possibly be ordinary?
"Leah can agree to this person's request if he means no harm!" The cat on the girl's shoulder responded, which made her relax her brow and smile as she said:
"Although I'm also staying at someone else's home, providing you with accommodation for a while should be fine with their understanding."

Listening to Elf Parker's self-introduction, Chen Fan chuckled lightly; another Peter Parker.
"Chen Fan, that's my name!" Since the other party had offered a friendly greeting, Chen Fan wouldn't act aloof.

The badge returned to the girl's hand, and her anxious heart finally settled. She revealed a charming smile, "Please wait a moment; I need to tend to this girl."
Even though her important item had been stolen, seeing a girl injured made it impossible for her to ignore the situation. She helped the girl lean against the wall and extended her jade-like hand, placing it on the girl's chest.

Suddenly, hurried footsteps approached, accompanied by a strong aura. Chen Fan squinted slightly and turned his gaze toward the sound. To his surprise, so many Vibrant Goods emerged from an alleyway, causing the corners of his mouth to twitch.

"Peter Parker... the badge has been stolen again..." Emilia said, puffing up in frustration.
"The badge? Is it that badge?" A newcomer stepped in front of Emilia, his brow furrowing slightly, his expression turning serious. If he hadn't barged in unexpectedly, the thief wouldn't have had the chance to steal from the girl. He solemnly promised, "Lady Emilia, please rest assured; I will retrieve the badge."
"Reinhardt... if you hadn't startled my daughter, that thief wouldn't have had the opportunity to steal!" Peter Parker consoled Emilia before turning to glare at the knight, clearly blaming him and seeking accountability.
"I will go retrieve the badge right now!" Reinhardt bowed to Emilia and stomped his foot, preparing to dash off into the distance. At that moment, Lai Yueang, who had been silent for a while, suddenly shouted, "I know where that thief is!"
Chen Fan, who was merely watching the scene unfold, felt a cold glint in his eyes. This guy was really asking for trouble again. Did having an immortal body make one prone to seeking death?
This reminded Chen Fan of a certain money-hungry character from the Marvel Universe—
As long as he was paid, he would willingly die a thousand times over; he was even more shameless than some Red-White Shrine Maiden.
