As dawn began to break, the eastern sky revealed a faint light, and the morning star hanging in the eastern sky shone particularly bright. 0

Zhao Jun and the others had been lurking and searching near the cave for half the night, yet they still found nothing. Not a single person had escaped from the Bandit Nest, nor was there any news of Yang Bing. 0

Climbing up a cliff along the coastline, Tang Hao'er leaned wearily against a rock, brushing back her damp bangs. 0

Zhao Jun pulled out a bottle of mineral water and handed it to Tang Hao'er, concern etched on his face. "Hao'er, why don't you head back first? You haven't slept all night." 0

Tang Hao'er took a sip from the bottle and then passed it to Dule, who was also panting heavily beside her. She looked at Zhao Jun and said, "Aren't you the same? If you don't go back, I won't either." 0

Dule took a drink and gasped for breath. "These guys really know how to hide. We've practically searched half the island, and we haven't seen a single person." 0

Dule's statement was somewhat exaggerated; they had only followed the coastline, and their search area wasn't that extensive. 0

Zhao Jun exhaled deeply, gazing up at the peak of the island's main mountain. He pondered aloud, "If someone escaped from the Bandit Nest and wanted to get a view of the entire island, they would definitely go to the summit. I'm planning to stake out at the top; I should be able to encounter someone who has escaped." 0

Tang Hao'er frowned. "That's too dangerous. If I were a bandit, I would control that high ground as well. Besides, they have a helicopter; we can't be as lucky as last time when we shot it down." 0

At that moment, Zhao Jun and Tang Hao'er were unaware that Shen Kun had already fled with another helicopter. If they knew that the bandits no longer had a helicopter, their concerns would have been significantly lessened. 0

Zhao Jun nodded. "It is indeed risky, but this is also our only way to find Brother Yang and the others. With such a large island, our chances of running into them are too low. Hao'er, it's already high tide; if we don't head back soon, getting into the cave will be difficult. How about this: you and Dule go back to the cave first while I keep watch at the summit? Don't worry; I'll be careful and return when the tide goes down." 0

Tang Hao'er pouted. "I want to stay with you. Mr. Dule, why don't you head back first?" 0

Dule puffed out his chest. "We're a team of three; I can't leave when there's potential danger. Plus, I want to find those people we came out of Treasure Island with as soon as possible. If we're going, let's go together." 0

Fourteen people had been tricked from the treasure island by Shen Kun and his group. When they first escaped, they were all together, but then a section of the wall collapsed, and in the chaos, the bandits fired a volley of bullets at them. After breaking through the gap, they scattered. Fortunately, Dule had stayed close to Xue Peng and Fang Jia Shen, and later encountered Cheng Zhengxiong and Su Mei, who had also been brought back to the cave, allowing them to temporarily evade danger. 0

Zhao Jun could see from their demeanor that it would be difficult to persuade them to return to the cave first. With no other choice, he nodded and said, "Alright, let's set off." 0

Dule acknowledged him and took the lead, heading towards the mountain peak. 0

After two or three hours, dawn broke, and Zhao Jun and the others were nearing the summit. In the distance, they could see the wreckage of the crashed helicopter. 0

Once they were within range of the summit, Zhao Jun motioned for the two to hide and whispered, "You stay here concealed while I go to search for some items in the helicopter wreckage to place at the top of the mountain. This will draw attention from others who might come over to investigate, making it easier for us to connect with other survivors." 0

Tang Hao'er said, "I'll go." 0

Dule chuckled and replied, "Let me handle it. The teacher is wearing camouflage; if someone sees him, they'll think he's a bandit and be even less likely to approach." 0

As for Tang Hao'er, there was no need for her to go with two strong men present. It wouldn’t be appropriate to send her on a task that carried some risk. 0

Seeing Dule already standing up, Zhao Jun knew that if he tried to stop him, he might be misunderstood as looking down on him. He nodded at Dule and handed over his Assault Rifle, saying, "Alright, be careful. Take this gun with you." 0

Dule smiled slightly and said, "No need; this handgun is enough for me. Carrying the Assault Rifle would make me too obvious as a target. If someone mistakes me for a bandit, it would backfire." 0

Zhao Jun nodded and took back the rifle. Looking at Dule, he said, "Go quickly and return swiftly. We'll cover you here. If you discover anything, come back first; don’t take unnecessary risks." 0

Dule laughed lightly and replied, "Don't worry; I've been through scout training—I can run fast." 0

Dule shook hands with Zhao Jun and swiftly maneuvered through the obstacles, quickly approaching the wreckage of the helicopter. It seemed he had indeed received some military training. 0

Zhao Jun crouched by the roots of a tree, carefully observing Dule's surroundings with his gun at the ready, prepared for any sudden surprises. 0

Tang Hao'er lay hidden under another tree not far away, mimicking Zhao Jun's stance. 0

Before long, Dule reached the helicopter wreckage. In no time, he emerged carrying a piece of the rotor blade, waving at Zhao Jun and Tang Hao'er from a distance as he began to climb towards the mountain peak. 0

After about ten minutes, Dule reached the summit. After surveying the area, he propped the piece of rotor blade against a rock at the top and placed several smaller stones around its base to prevent it from being blown away by the sea breeze. 0

Using a stone, Dule scratched a few characters onto the rotor blade fragment. After observing for a moment longer, he turned and began to crawl back down towards where Zhao Jun and Tang Hao'er were hiding. 0

Seeing that Dule had safely placed the rotor blade fragment, both Zhao Jun and Tang Hao'er let out a sigh of relief. Tang Hao'er crawled out from behind the tree roots and bent her body towards a nearby thicket of low bushes. 0

Zhao Jun quickly called out to her, "Hao'er, where are you going? It's fine for us to stay hidden here." 0

Tang Hao'er huffed in response, "Mind your own business! I'll be right back, and don't you dare peek." 0

Zhao Jun instantly understood what Tang Hao'er meant by "don't peek." How could he have overlooked such an important matter? No wonder she had been subtly shifting her body while crouching by the tree roots; he had thought it was just… sigh. 0

Men were easy to deal with, but women? It seemed he would have to find a way to designate a spot for a toilet in their cave when they returned, thus avoiding any awkward situations. 0
