Zhao Jun was indeed exhausted. In just a short time, he had experienced things he had never faced in his entire life. His body was tired, and his heart was weary. 0

In his dreams, Zhao Jun was running, relentlessly pursued by a group of bandits. Among them were Charlie, Shen Kun, and many others whose faces he couldn't clearly see. 0

Zhao Jun ran for his life, but he also had to protect those ahead of him: Tang Hao'er, Li Wei, Cheng Zhengxiong, and Su Mei. 0

Bullets whizzed past him, grazing his skin. He felt pain all over his body but had no idea how many places were already injured. 0

In a desperate flight, they found themselves at the edge of a bottomless cliff. 0

Before them lay an abyss, while behind them were the grinning Shen Kun and the gang of bandits. 0

Panicked, Zhao Jun didn't know how to respond to this situation; thoughts of death crossed his mind. 0

Suddenly, Yang Bing appeared before him, bloodied and shouting, "Don't give up! Survive! Live like grass—never give up!" 0

"Brother Yang!" Zhao Jun exclaimed as he jolted awake. 0

Tang Hao'er, who had been sleeping soundly in Zhao Jun's arms, was startled awake as well. She grabbed Zhao Jun's sweaty shoulders and asked anxiously, "Zhao Jun, what's wrong? What happened to Brother Yang?" 0

It turned out it was just a dream. Zhao Jun let out a sigh of relief and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, leaning back against the stone wall to catch his breath. 0

With concern etched on her face, Tang Hao'er placed her hands on Zhao Jun's shoulders and used her sleeve to wipe the sweat from his brow. 0

Zhao Jun noticed that Tang Hao'er was wearing the clothes he had changed out of earlier. The outfit was far too big for her, loosely draping over her delicate figure in a charming way. 0

The sensation of a girl wearing his clothes felt intimately close, as if their skins were touching. 0

Zhao Jun hugged Tang Hao'er gently and whispered, "I'm fine. I just had a nightmare about Brother Yang." 0

Zhao Jun turned to glance at the orange sunlight streaming in through the cave entrance. He raised his wrist to check the time, realizing he had slept for over ten hours. It was almost dark. 0

Tang Hao'er obediently responded with a soft "oh," her expression somewhat downcast. However, it wasn't long before she smiled again, shaking Zhao Jun's arm and suggesting, "Zhao Jun, how about we sneak out tonight and rescue Brother Yang?" 0

Zhao Jun exhaled. He had initially planned to go out tonight to gather food and then take a look at the Bandit Nest. He hadn't dared to think about rescuing Yang Bing and the others right away, but he certainly intended to cause some trouble for those bandits. After all, it was nighttime, and he figured escaping should not be too difficult. However, his plan was to go alone; he hadn't intended to bring Tang Hao'er along. 0

He gently ruffled Tang Hao'er's hair and said softly, "Hao'er, I want to rescue Brother Yang and the others as soon as possible too, but we need to plan this carefully." 0

Tang Hao'er nodded and suddenly wrapped her arms around Zhao Jun's arm, looking directly into his eyes with a playful smile. "Did you dream about me just now?" 0

Zhao Jun met her gaze honestly. "I did." 0

Tang Hao'er giggled and planted a kiss on his lips. "You better dream about me! I want you to dream of me." 0

Zhao Jun smiled back, but he knew this wasn't the right moment for romance; his mood was affected by the situation. 0

He gave Tang Hao'er a brief hug before steadying himself against the stone wall. "I'm going to check on Big Bear." 0

"Okay," she replied, but then suddenly seemed to remember something and grabbed Zhao Jun's hand. "Wait a moment." 0

Zhao Jun halted as Tang Hao'er quickly scrambled up, retrieving her clothes that she had hung on branches propped against the cave walls. She turned to Zhao Jun and said, "Hold up the blanket for me; I need to change. Your clothes are so ugly." 0

Seeing that Tang Hao'er was holding not only her clothes but also some undergarments, Zhao Jun couldn't help but cough lightly. How had she managed to change clothes earlier if she needed him to hold up the blanket now? 0

"What are you staring at? Haven't you taken enough advantage of me? Hurry up and hold up the blanket!" Tang Hao'er scolded him softly, her face flushed as she looked at him like a confused goose. 0

Tang Hao'er needed to wash her clothes, but there was no privacy in the cave. She could only slip under Zhao Jun's blanket to change into his clothes. As she hurriedly stripped off her own clothes like a thief, Zhao Jun—still half-asleep—mumbled and instinctively wrapped his arms around her. Startled, Tang Hao'er nearly screamed but quickly realized that Zhao Jun didn't move any further after that; he was truly asleep. 0

Awoken by Tang Hao'er's reprimand, Zhao Jun blushed deeply as he picked up the blanket from the ground and turned around to hold it up behind him like a large bat, his heart racing wildly in his chest. 0

Tang Hao'er huffed, "No peeking." 0

As soon as she said that, an alluring image of Tang Hao'er changing clothes behind him flashed in Zhao Jun's mind. 0

Zhao Jun felt too embarrassed to respond to Tang Hao'er, but the rustling sounds of her undressing and dressing behind him invaded his ears uncontrollably. 0

Zhao Jun was a teacher, not a saint, and being a young man, his body naturally reacted. What was even more blood-boiling was that Tang Hao'er used his outstretched arms as a clothes rack, draping both the clothes she had taken off and those she hadn’t put on yet over his arms. Zhao Jun instinctively rolled his eyes and saw Tang Hao'er's underwear resting on his shoulder... 0

He struggled to steady his breathing, trying to focus on nothing but the air around him, appearing as calm as a monk in meditation, while in reality, he was already overwhelmed. 0

After what felt like an eternity, Tang Hao'er's voice finally came from behind him, "Okay, you can turn around now." 0

Zhao Jun let out a deep breath, his arms that had been straining finally dropped down. Tang Hao'er giggled as she hugged his waist from behind and playfully blew air into his neck, saying, "You’re quite obedient. Hurry up and change your clothes; they’re filthy." 0

Zhao Jun responded with an "Oh" and turned around. Tang Hao'er pecked him on the lips and hopped away like a rabbit. 0

Watching her retreating figure, Zhao Jun sighed with a wry smile, "Aren't you going to help cover me?" 0

"Who would want to look at you?" Tang Hao'er laughed back at him. 0

With a bitter smile, Zhao Jun changed into his clothes, still warm from Tang Hao'er's gentle body heat, filling him with warmth inside. 0
