In the dimly lit room, Bruce and Helen embrace tightly, their conversation filled with intimacy and conspiracy. Jack lies in bed, trying to keep his breathing steady as he listens to the conversation between the conspirators. 0

Helen's voice is soft and tinged with a hint of vulnerability: "Since the nuclear explosion, I have felt incredibly helpless. But since meeting you, Bruce, it seems like my life has found direction again." 0

Bruce then replied with a proud and cunning tone, "Darling, the fact that we are still alive proves that we are luckier than others. But we shouldn't be satisfied with just surviving; we should strive to live more brilliantly." His voice carried a hint of disdain, "It's unbearable to breathe the same air as those fools in the shelter every day." 0

Helen nodded gently, seeming to agree deeply, "Yes, we should pursue a higher quality of life, not just these ordinary days. We have the ability, the wisdom, and should have more." 0

Bruce smiled, seemingly planning something: "As long as we control the shelter, everything will go according to our plan. Then we can get rid of these blue or yellow uniforms and truly become the masters here." 0

Jack lay on the bed, his body stiff, filled with worry and anger. He couldn't believe that Bruce, who had always given him guidance and tenderness, could be such a cunning and deceitful person. Bruce's image in the shelter had always been good, which made Jack feel even more helpless and confused. 0

He struggled to control his breathing, trying his best not to attract the attention of Bruce and Helen with any movement in the bed. Various plans and strategies kept swirling in his mind as he attempted to find a way to expose Bruce and Helen's conspiracy. However, each idea seemed to have obvious flaws and risks. 0

If he were to openly reveal their conspiracy to other residents without sufficient evidence, his words would likely be seen as baseless accusations, and he might even be considered delusional. Reporting this information to the director Adam also posed the problem of insufficient evidence, and he wasn't sure how Adam would react. 0

Jack realized that he needed to handle the situation with more caution and wisdom. Any impulsive and immature actions could lead to serious consequences, even putting himself in a more dangerous situation. He needed to find a way to gather more evidence while ensuring his own safety. 0

He decided to remain silent, carefully observing Bruce and Helen's every move, while quietly seeking opportunities to gather enough evidence. Only then could he effectively expose their conspiracy and protect the shelter from their malicious influence. 0

Jack lay on the bed, his body starting to heat up, muscles involuntarily spasming, the sudden discomfort making him suffer. He knew he had to stay hidden, couldn't let Bruce and Helen find out he was awake. But his body's reaction made it all the more difficult. 0

Jack lay stiff on the bed, each muscle spasm feeling like an electric shock running through his body. His skin burned as if by flames, accompanied by shivers of cold. His body continued to struggle against this extreme discomfort, as if trying to find some kind of balance, but never quite achieving it. 0

Every muscle twitch made his body tremble slightly, and he had to exert all his effort to control his movements and prevent the bed from making any noise. This effort left him feeling exhausted, but he knew he couldn't let Bruce and Helen know he was awake. His eyes were tightly closed, trying to hide his wakefulness while making his breathing as inconspicuous as possible. 0

Jack's brain remained alert amidst this agony, filled with uncertainty and panic, but more so with anger and helplessness towards Bruce and Helen's plan. He couldn't take any action, only silently enduring this dual torment of body and mind on the bed. 0

He struggled with anxiety and unease in his heart. Jack knew that if he were to stand up and accuse Bruce and Helen at this moment, not only would it possibly fail to expose their conspiracy, but it might also put himself in an even more dangerous situation. He didn't have enough evidence to support his accusations, and in his current physical state, he couldn't even ensure that he could express himself clearly. 0

In this conflict and struggle, Jack ultimately decided to continue pretending to sleep. He tried to calm his breathing, despite the pain throughout his body, and attempted to remain still, so as not to attract Bruce and Helen's attention. 0

He closed his eyes, enduring the torment of his body, constantly telling himself that this was to avoid a greater disaster. He had to act wisely, not letting his emotions and impulses take over. Jack understood that to expose all of this, he needed more wisdom and patience, as well as more evidence. 0

The shaking on the bed and the involuntary shaking of the body caused more and more commotion, finally attracting the attention of Bruce and Helen. Helen screamed in surprise, apparently startled by Jack's actions: "What is he doing?" 0

Bruce glanced irritably at Jack and then lay back on the bed with a hint of disdain, saying, "That stupid college student goes crazy every night, shaking all night and keeping me from sleeping well. If he keeps this up, I'll have to deal with him sooner or later. And it looks like he's also infected with that plague, so disgusting." 0

Helen, upon hearing this, appeared even more panicked. "Ah! Do we have to stay here? Let's leave here quickly, my dear," her voice filled with urgency and unease. 0

Bruce nodded and said with a look of annoyance, "Fine, since we've had enough fun, I don't want to stay in the same room with this patient anymore. It's enough that this guy is scaring people while being sick." With that, he and Helen quickly straightened their clothes and prepared to leave the room. 0

Jack lay on the bed, listening to all of this, his fear and anger intertwining. He wanted to stand up and stop them, but his body was out of control, leaving him helpless as he watched Bruce and Helen leave the room. 0
